GGuest UserGetting around is super convenient; the subway station is just a two-minute walk across the road. The dorms are separated by gender, and the communal bathrooms are constantly being cleaned by an auntie. The showers even have a small dry area, which is really handy for putting your clothes. The room isn't huge but it's perfectly adequate. The soundproofing isn't the best, so if you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs, especially if your room is in the middle of the corridor. They even gave out cute little zongzi (rice dumpling) keychains for the Dragon Boat Festival! I'd definitely stay here again!

NNinidianxiaThe hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. However, precisely because of its prime location, the room rates are quite high, and the rooms themselves are rather small. Breakfast is delivered to the room and includes steamed buns, eggs, and soy milk, which I personally found quite good. The room was also relatively quiet. If you prioritize convenience and don't mind smaller room sizes or more basic facilities, this place is a good choice.

GGuest UserThe overall environment is fantastic, and the location is superb, right in the heart of Wutong District. The area has a rich artistic vibe, and the Jufuchang citywalk is absolutely amazing! It's perfect for those who enjoy a slower pace and taking photos. The room is cozy and comfortable, with all necessary amenities. You can even dry your clothes after washing. The host and customer service are very enthusiastic and respond promptly. It offers great value for money and a wonderful experience. It's definitely the best choice for a short stay in Shanghai. Highly recommended!

JJanelleDAT ChenThe hotel proactively reached out to us a few days before our stay and set up a WeChat service group where all check-in information was communicated. During our stay, whenever we needed something or had a question, the staff in the group were very quick and helpful with their responses. The hotel's decor is quite artistic, and all the facilities are in good condition and clean. A special shout-out to the washer-dryer combo – with a family, we have a lot of laundry daily, so this machine was incredibly practical. Furthermore, the hotel's location is excellent. It's close to the road but surprisingly quiet. The only suggestion I have is to provide a few bottles of complimentary water.

GGuest UserThis B&B absolutely deserves a five-star rating! My stay here far exceeded all expectations, and I've already recommended it to all my friends. It will definitely be my top choice for future trips! The B&B looks exactly like its online photos, with no discrepancies whatsoever. The decor has a gentle, healing vibe, and the soft furnishings are tastefully chosen. There are green plants and decorative pieces everywhere, adding lovely touches that make it perfect for photos. The room itself is spacious and brightly lit. Opening the window immediately brings in a sense of peace and comfort, far from the city's hustle and bustle. I didn't hear any noise at all during the night, ensuring a restful sleep. The cleanliness was truly impeccable. There was no strange odor upon entering, the floors were spotless, and the bathroom was perfectly dry and wet separated. The vanity, shower area, and even the nooks and crannies were all thoroughly cleaned. The bedding was soft and dry, the towels and bath towels felt fresh, and the disposable amenities were of excellent quality. The host was incredibly warm and thoughtful. Before check-in, they proactively sent detailed location pins and parking instructions. They also kindly compiled a guide to local eateries and must-visit attractions, along with very practical tips to avoid common tourist traps. They greeted us warmly upon arrival and were patient and meticulous in all their communications. Messages were replied to promptly, and any small request was addressed immediately. They were friendly and approachable, making us feel as comfortable as if we were with old friends. The indoor facilities were complete and well-maintained; hot water was plentiful and stable, and the air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked smoothly. The kitchen, tea sets, and toiletries were all provided, with everything needed for daily life fully equipped, making it feel as comfortable as staying at home. The location is superb, offering great convenience. It's within walking distance to shopping districts and attractions, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Overall, the value for money is exceptionally high. The environment, service, and facilities are all beyond reproach. Here, I shed all the fatigue of my journey and enjoyed a truly pleasant and relaxing time. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone traveling – you can book with confidence, it won't disappoint!

GGemiNOTthe1Not even a 15 minute walk from the closest metro station (地铁站). And there's so many restaurants nearby, including Shanghai cuisine. Plus, rideshare bikes are available (i.e. 哈罗, **, 和滴滴自行车). When I walked in, I was greeted by a very nice auntie who helped me at the front desk. She was very patient with my mediocre Chinese speaking skills and politely inquired about my travel plans. The elevator is in plain sight in the entry way, which is VERY handy if you just walked all those 15 minutes from the metro station or if you have heavy luggage. It also does not require you to swipe/scan a room key. The second floor is one long hallway. And the doors allow you to either type in a code or tap/swipe your room key. I never used the code, just the tap/swipe method. I highly recommend this hotel if you have mobility issues because of the lack of steep stairs, elevator access, and hallway layout. Just be careful hopping into the bathroom because of the large gap. After entering the room (see the pictures I attached), the vibes were pretty nice. Sleek, modern, and clean. I liked the floor level separation between the entryway and the bedroom area as well as the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it has two pairs of slippers, which managed to fit my big feet (US Size 11-11.5 / China Size 46-47). However, as you can see in the images provided, the toilet is very close to the sink, with little space for you to spread out your legs. But I did not care because the water temperature changes so fast and you don't have to wait like 10 minutes like at so many other hotels. The toiletries provided in the room include one small bottle each of shampoo and body wash as well as two small rolls of toilet paper. Plus, they have two body towels, two hand towels, one medium towel, a hair dryer. There is more than enough storage space for one or two people. There's a closet with shelves and hangers in the bedroom area. Then there's a refrigerator, and then so much cabinet space in the entry area. If you need air conditioning or heating in the room, there is a white controller that connects to an AC unit affixed to the ceiling and upper wall area. The window curtains allowed for a deep dark sleeping experience, which I absolutely loved. The washing machine works well but has a small interior, so you may need to do multiple loads. If you don't understand Chinese, the labels correspond to different settings, which I recommend consulting. The one I used (春秋 / Spring and Autumn) was perfect for me when I was there in February. My only real critique is that the windows did not shut all the way and I had no idea of how to fix the issue. I forgot about it until the last day, though. Also, be sure to wear earplugs since the street noises are insanely loud if you have a road-facing room. I hope that this review gives a decent bit of context for even just one person!

GGuest UserMy experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was super clean and comfortable, which made my stay very pleasant. What really stood out was the staff's kindness; it truly touched me. When I was struggling to figure out how to order takeout, they patiently explained everything and even personally helped me with a drink purchase since I'm a foreigner and had difficulty with the payment. At checkout, they even gave me a hand cream as a gift, making my trip perfect right until the very end. Thanks to their warm hospitality and the immaculate room, I had a truly wonderful time. I will definitely be back!

CCarolZzzzzzThe room was clean and tidy, and the smart toilet along with the Xiaodu smart assistant were pleasant surprises. The hotel is right by the Jing'an business district, with tons of options for food, drinks, and entertainment nearby. Getting around is easy with the subway, and the spacious location makes it incredibly convenient to hail a taxi. I'll definitely book here again next time, really looking forward to it!

DDe GiorgiOur stay has been a pleasure. The room is well furnished with all the essentials needed for an holidays of more than one day (fridge, washing machine and dryer). The beds are very soft and there is enough room for luggages. Our room is located in the French concession quarter, an interesting area with a lot of nice restaurants for all the budgets, convenience store and coffee. The service is very kind and helpful: the host has created a weChat group for us, with all the staff to answer our needs, and they provided us all the information days before the checking, ensuring that everything was clear. They bought us also water bottles for our stay. Few negative points to be discussed: the road in which our room (named Rome or ”Luoma”) is located is in a secondary street, unfortunately full of poor maintained house. When we saw the main entrance of the building we thought we were being scammed, since it was a mess with mold and falling paints from the wall, garbage and boxes. Fortunately the room is completely different! Another negative point are the windows that are super thin. Even if closed, you can hear everything from the road (the last night the neighbour were arguing for more than 1 hour and we could hear everything. It was like they were with us in the room!). The curtains are ok for the privacy, but not for the light: at 5 am the light of the sun was so strong that we needed to use eye masks to be able to sleep a little more. In general, our staying has been very pleasant and we suggest it! We hope that the host fix soon the few negative points
