The room wasn't huge, but it was just right for one person. The bathroom was clean, though a couple of the pillows were a bit yellowed. The location is quite convenient, not far from Metro Station Exit 3 at Shanghai Railway Station, so you don't have to walk much. The breakfast was good and had everything you'd expect. I noticed a lot of Southeast Asian guests staying here.

My stay at the Pullman Jing An was a delightful surprise! The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the city bustle, with a grand and comfortable ambiance. Every corner of the room was meticulously clean. The bedding and bathroom facilities were excellent and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive, responding quickly to any requests. It's a perfect choice for both business trips and short getaways. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.

The hotel location was good, we can easily get to the near by shops and food spots. The front desk wasn’t really helpful because we asked them about the massage spots nearby for them to recommend, and they weren’t sure and don’t know anything about it. We booked none smoking room but we can always smelled smoke and don’t know from where. The front desk doesn’t seem like welcome or was not that helpful in my opinion, but housekeeper are very friendly and nice.

We recently completed a wonderful 5-night stay at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Shanghai. If you are an international traveler looking for an incredibly convenient base with world-class hospitality, this hotel is a fantastic choice. 📍 Prime Location The hotel is centrally located and exceptionally well-connected. It is literally just a 3-minute walk from the Shanghai Railway Station, making local commuting via the metro or catching regional bullet trains completely hassle-free. 🌟 Outstanding Service (Going Above & Beyond) The front desk staff are truly exceptional and do not hesitate to go the extra mile for their guests. Because we ran into a language barrier while trying to coordinate a campus tour with a local university, the staff stepped in without hesitation and spoke to the university on our behalf to get everything sorted. We also want to give a special recognition to Ms. Wong and her colleagues. When we had trouble navigating the local food delivery apps, they kindly used their own personal apps to order food for us and allowed us to transfer the money directly to their accounts. They were also incredibly supportive with hailing local taxis and guiding us through Shanghai's public transport options every single day. 🍳 Buffet Breakfast The hotel offers a morning buffet breakfast for a very nominal charge. It has a great, decent spread that easily caters to different palates, including: Hot options (Porridge, Noodles, and freshly cooked Eggs) Western staples (Breads, Cereals, and pastries) Fresh Fruits and Salads 💡 Area for Improvement The only real critique we have is that the hotel lacks an in-house restaurant that serves lunch and dinner options. Having an all-day dining restaurant on-site would make the stay absolutely perfect. That being said, the incredible warmth of the staff more than made up for it. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again for our next trip to Shanghai!

Because I had to take the train to and from Shanghai Station, I chose the Railway Hotel again. I stayed here last year, and everything was great. I arrived early in the morning and there were no rooms available, but the front desk kept urging housekeeping to clean a room for me, and I was able to check in before 10 AM. The only difference this time was that my room faced the train platforms instead of the station square. The bullet trains passing by could be a bit noisy. Although they've installed double-glazed windows which blocked most of the noise, people who are sensitive to sound might want to ask about the room's orientation beforehand. Also, the soundproofing between rooms could be better; I could hear the conversations from next door clearly. This might be because of the larger crowds during the May Day holiday, making it extra noisy. The hotel's breakfast, while not offering a huge variety, was very refined, with both Chinese and Western options, especially the freshly steamed soup dumplings (xiaolongbao) and steamed chicken feet with black bean sauce. Although the hotel is a bit old, it has all the necessary hardware facilities. The staff at every touchpoint were very friendly. The cleaning lady was very efficient, tidying up quickly and cleanly – much appreciated! The wet and dry separation in the bathroom was very well done. The TV could access most channels, and the desk was large enough to spread out all my belongings. The only issue was some leftover shower gel on the showerhead handle, which made it very slippery. I disinfected it myself. Since I arrived early, and the front desk was constantly helping me check in, and considering the high pressure on housekeeping during the May Day holiday, I understand things might have been rushed. I hope they'll pay attention to this next time. Overall, I will definitely choose the Railway Hotel again when I'm traveling by train.

Five out of five stars, highly recommended! The hotel is very close to Shanghai Railway Station, just a 10-minute walk away. The Suzhou Creek is right behind the hotel, which is also a great area for a stroll. A special shout-out to Joyce and Orlando! The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and handled check-in efficiently and smoothly. The facilities were well-maintained and comprehensive, and the cocktails at the lounge were excellent. Our overall experience far exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip!

On a business trip to Shanghai, I chose the Haiyue Mingting Hotel near Shanghai Railway Station. It's incredibly close – you can spot it as soon as you exit the North Square, and it's just a two or three-minute walk away, which is super convenient. The hotel opened after a renovation in 2026, so all the facilities are brand new. It's fully equipped with smart controls throughout, giving it a very high-tech feel. The breakfast has a great variety, and the afternoon tea is quite a ritual. There's a bus stop right outside, and with one transfer, you can get to the Bund.

The hotel looks exactly like the pictures! The location is perfect, very close to the metro station. We stayed in a two-story (duplex) room as a family, and it was incredibly comfortable and cozy. The window view of ”1000 Trees” and the river was absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast had a great variety of delicious options, and the reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful and relaxing trip. Thank you!

The room was clean and hygienic, and getting around from downstairs was really convenient. There were also plenty of food options nearby that were easy to grab. I highly recommend staying here. The front desk service was excellent, and the room itself was great.

I was in Shanghai for a few days with my kids, and since they're quite tall, I needed a hotel with larger beds. I had a hard time finding a suitable place until I discovered this hotel's two-bedroom apartment, which was perfect for my needs. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with a subway station not too far away. Now, about the hotel's service: the front desk staff, especially the lovely Miss VV, were incredibly welcoming. She even added me on WeChat so I could easily communicate any needs I had. On our last day, my child suddenly came down with a fever. The wonderful staff at the front desk helped me extend our check-out time until 2 PM, allowing my child more time to rest. It was a really thoughtful and humane gesture that made us feel very cared for as out-of-town guests. Finally, a special shout-out to the cleaning lady on the 26th floor. Coming back each day to a room that was tidied up like new, clean, and neat was incredibly comforting, especially for someone with a bit of a clean freak tendency like myself. She even folded my child's pajamas and placed them neatly beside the bed every day. Thank you! 🙏

The hotel environment is fantastic, and the location is great too. The front desk staff, both male and female, were incredibly friendly and attractive—two thumbs up! They offer both Chinese and Western breakfast options, and the laundry room is open 24/7 with a dryer. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I've extended my stay again! The front desk staff, especially one lady, was incredibly patient and provided excellent service. The room was clean and tidy, offered a great city view from afar, and was already quite a bargain. The best part is its super close proximity to the metro station, making it convenient to go anywhere! And this is Shanghai, where every inch of land is precious.

The hotel is clean and tidy. The room facilities are average, and the surrounding environment is also just okay. However, the staff's attitude is excellent. The breakfast is average. Given its location in a bustling area of Shanghai, having free parking is a great plus and quite rare. Overall, the hotel offers a good experience.

This place has a great location. Although it's small, it offers excellent value for money, especially for its central city location. It's quite clean, a truly fair price. They even have a smart toilet, central air conditioning, and a dryer.

I couldn't sleep the whole night because it was so noisy. I've never stayed in a room so noisy before. The waitress who stayed that day was very nice. My child was woken up in the early hours of the morning. I reported it to the front desk, but they came to deal with the problem. I was told to go back to sleep with the child. How could I fall asleep? All night long, upstairs and downstairs, the door did not stop, the movement was super invincible, I was convinced
