GGuest UserI believe it used to be a Six Senses resort. It's located on an island, just a five-minute speedboat ride away. The surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. The hotel truly embraces its natural environment, so be prepared to encounter wildlife like centipedes, insects, snakes, monkeys, and various small birds. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to completely unwind and relax at the property. However, the food variety at the hotel is somewhat limited, and there are virtually no other dining options on the island. Despite these points, it's still a great place overall.

From the moment we arrived, Hyatt Regency Phuket impressed us with its stunning ocean views, beautifully landscaped grounds, and warm hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable — always friendly, attentive, and ready to help.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and came with a breathtaking view of the Sea. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious choices. We also loved the pool area — perfect for relaxing while enjoying the sunset.
Special mention to the shuttle service that made getting around Patong and Kamala so convenient. The hotel truly offers a perfect balance of luxury, comfort, relaxing and great service.
We can’t wait to come back — highly recommended for anyone visiting Phuket!

However, there were too many natural creatures during our stay. Since the room were built on the mountain, it is not surprising to see them. But we found some bedbugs on the bed…

Almost all staffs were distant and did not give out a five star hotel kind of services. Birthday arrangement was honored, thank you to the team. The pool was very nice and the activities were varied. GGuest UserThis was our second stay at the hotel, and we booked two pool access deluxe rooms. Before arrival, we requested two connecting rooms, and the hotel made the arrangements for us. The breakfast was nicely arranged; although the selection was not very large, the food tasted good and the environment was comfortable with air conditioning. The main pool was excellent for enjoying time with friends, and the pool bar’s half-price happy hour offer was a great deal. However, the room cleanliness needs improvement, as we found insect droppings on the bed and had to ask the staff to change the sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases immediately. Also, only two bottles of water were provided daily, which was quite insufficient—we hope the hotel can supply more complimentary bottled water.

__WeChat229187****Overall positive review. The public areas are huge, and the environment is great with lush vegetation and small animals. The pool is beautiful, and you can access the sea directly from the back door.
However, the sea view suite I booked was in building D, not a beachfront property, and it was a bit old. My room key failed twice.
Also, there's no Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk.

The room is controversial. We had to wait till exactly 14:00 to check in. We couldn't even check in at 13:58. The toilet is a joke. It has a big glass with a frosted part so you can see a silhouette of a person in the shower. The sliding door has a big gap so you can see a person sitting on a toilet through it. So there's no sound proof on the toilet and you can see and hear almost everything happening inside. I had to go to the first floor toilet to do my things. And water pipes are noisy and might start buzzing in the middle of the night. A few times we heard loud music somewhere in the hotel so we had to call the reception to solve the problem otherwise it was impossible to rest in the room. There also was dust somewhere in the room.
I'm not sure I'll stay there again.

DDar BagsI was there during Christmas and it was good location close to Kamala beach (but will require you to cross a busy road). Restaurant staff was short and lunch was sad with wait time for one plate of food gone up to about an hour. Same with room service as no one ever picked up the phone.
