Our rooms are serviced well every day. The only downside is the smell of cigarette smoke in one of our rooms. Also, cigarette smell emanates from the aircon, so we had the aircon off the whole time and opened the window instead. Love having the laundry room and library area which we made good use of. Thanks for the receptionist staff who helped us through booking a car despite the language barrier.

Anyway, I walked to most of the attractions like Fuxi Temple, Hu's Former Residence, Tianshui Ancient City, Yuquan Temple, and the Green Market. Nangou Temple, of course, I took a taxi to. It's a clean and comfortable village homestay in the mountain area. We had a good sleep before our early visit to Maiji Shan scenic spot. The owner and his wife are kind and pleasant. The owner himself picked us from the bus station, sent us and picked us up from the entrance to the scenic spot. And also to the bus station to catch a bus back to Maiji town. We had dinner at their courtyard and we enjoyed the food cooked by the boss himself. *Take bus#34 from Maiji town to Maiji Mt station. The boss will pick you up from there to his house.

This hotel was perfect for my needs. I was looking for a clean and convenient budget hotel not far from the long distance bus station and town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful, although as expected they didn't speak English (which is what I expected). I slept soundly, enjoyed the hot shower and had a good stay in Zhangjiachuan partly thanks to this hotel. Overall, it is typical of the older type of budget hotel I have stayed at in China.
