Hotel near Shinsekai,Osaka
With a stay at Maru House - Hostel in Osaka (Naniwa), you'll be steps from Tsutenkaku Tower and 4 minutes by foot from Nipponbashi. This hostel is 0.3 mi (0.4 km) from Spa World and 1.3 mi (2.1 km) from Dotonbori. Make use of convenient amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access, tour/ticket assistance, and a vending machine. Take advantage of the hostel's room service (during limited hours). Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite. Make yourself at home in one of the 20 air-conditioned rooms featuring kitchenettes. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include desks and microwaves, and housekeeping is provided daily.

"Right outside the door is Tsutenkaku Tower, which is really nice! The place is exceptionally clean, and I absolutely love the style. When you walk in, the wooden floors feel great under your feet, especially since you take your shoes off. Having a private shower and toilet is super convenient, just like being at home. Even though the bathroom is small, it's perfectly adequate for one person. Fresh towels are provided daily. They don't offer toothbrushes or toothpaste, but shampoo and shower gel are included. There's a trash can, so you don't need to bring your own. It's very quiet at night, which is great for sleeping. There's a microwave and a hot water dispenser, so you can easily make instant noodles or heat up ready-to-eat meals bought from the convenience store. A refrigerator is also available. The air conditioning gets very cold, and the bed is soft, which I initially found a bit uncomfortable, but I adjusted to it later. There are power outlets right by the bed, perfect for charging devices and playing games. The only downside is that there's no elevator, and I was on the third floor, so I had to walk up all the stairs. The owner, despite being Korean, is incredibly nice and unbiased. When checking out, all you have to do is leave the key on the table, which is super convenient if you have an early flight."

GGuest UserLocated from the 33rd to 55th floors in West Umeda, this hotel offers an artistic, luxurious ambiance with panoramic views. 📍 The location is excellent, with direct access to Osaka Station and Umeda Station, major transportation hubs in Osaka. Yet, the moment you step inside, all the city's hustle and bustle fade away. Downstairs, you'll find major department stores and an underground shopping mall. The joy of being able to drop off your shopping bags in your room immediately after a spree is one of the ultimate luxuries of travel. It's also incredibly convenient for traveling to Kyoto, Kobe, or Kansai Airport.

FFrancesca CindyHad a wonderful stay, room is spacious, link to a mall sheltered. A junction away from Yodobashi Mall and Umeda Train station. The rooms are reasonably big. Love the bathroom. Separate beds are slightly bigger than single beds. Linens are luxurious high thread count. Room Flooring is semi wood and carpeted. Coffee and Tea are complimentary, comes with full set of in room requirements, ironing set, luxurious bathrobe, bar fridge, comfy bedroom slippers, safe, V Sassoon hair dryer, full bathing and vanity kit, toilet cubicle is separate by a door, bath tub is of good size, separate shower water pressure is fantastic. Motorised linen blinds, daily bottles of water Here’s my favourite: Facilities include 24hrs of fully equipped gym all machines including leg machines, bar and free weights, gym balls, foam rollers, treadmill, elliptical, bicycle etc. Use of Bathhouse and indoor swimming pool included as part of the booking. Spa facial and massage avail at a fee. Lounge area is great with nice matcha latte. Had buffet breakfast in the morning, sufficient variety. Lotsa fruits choices. Building is exclusive luxury. Initial check-in process can be better and less rigid. Pre-paid room type if unavailable, guests should be informed ahead prior to arrival. Somewhere between Trip.com and the hotel miscommunication should not affect the hotel guests traveling 12 hours to reach there. Director of rooms Mr Liam Wynn Williams saved the day. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality to resolve the issue.

EEthan 777Patina Osaka faces Osaka Castle directly. It's not in the loudest commercial area, yet it maintains a perfect distance from the city's core. The hotel's design perfectly blends Japanese aesthetics with luxury. Check-in is completed in a dedicated seating area. My main complaint, however, is the breakfast; the selection is truly meager and doesn't match the room rate. I have a habit of collecting room key cards, and this hotel's card is quite special. When I asked a male staff member if I could keep it, I was told no. I worried there might be a miscommunication due to my English, so the next day I specifically asked a local friend to inquire in Japanese, and he was also told it wasn't allowed. When checking out, I, still hopeful, asked a female staff member at the front desk, who appeared to be from Southeast Asia. She gave me a satisfying answer and was very enthusiastic. This little detail isn't a complaint, just a share. Perhaps the young man was an intern and wasn't fully aware. Ultimately, a pleasant outcome is all that matters.

RraiderFacilities: The classic quality of a long-standing luxury brand. Hygiene: Impeccable, as expected in Japan. Environment: Right above the railway station. Service: First-class service quality! Surrounded by amazing food options! An indispensable choice when in Umeda! However, it's a bit pricey and the rooms are a bit small.

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was incredibly spacious and offered a stunning view of Osaka Castle right from the window. The location was perfect — it was very close to Osaka Castle, making it easy to visit and enjoy a relaxing walk around the area. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the amenities were excellent. Most importantly, the staff were very kind and provided outstanding service throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka.

GGuest UserI was very grateful for the introduction on the 28th-floor corridor upon check-in. The whole process was excellent, from the introduction of upcoming activities to the excellent service on the 28th-floor corridor, including the serving of drinks and refreshments. They also thoughtfully prepared a cake and a handwritten thank-you note for my birthday in the room, which I really appreciated. Furthermore, due to my mother's illness, she might not be able to travel, and their follow-up email response was excellent. However, due to an urgent need to leave for Hong Kong that evening, the receptionist at the door didn't assist with loading my luggage into the car; I had to ask at the door myself, and my own driver came out to help. This was a point deduction. Given the Four Seasons Hotel's reputation, I feel that their service could be improved in these minor areas.

ZZHGKI originally booked a W Suite and arrived at 12 PM hoping to secure a high-floor room, but was only given the 8th floor. So, I paid more to upgrade to a Marvelous Suite. Honestly, the hardware facilities are excellent, but! If you want to experience differential treatment, this W is the place to be. First, someone else's laundry was mistakenly delivered to our suite. When I told the front desk, they were dismissive, merely saying someone would come to collect it, without even an apology. Later, while we were out, they left two boxes of Pocky biscuits... truly perfunctory. Then, we went to the Living Room on the third floor for drinks, and the server was practically bowing to Caucasian guests, while being very dismissive towards us. Around 10 PM, I called their 24/7 Whatever/Whenever service for an extra duvet, and they told me they had none left. The next day, I ordered room service through the Bonvoy app, and since I couldn't find the order on the web version, I called again to confirm. They said they'd call me back after checking with room service, but the meal arrived and I never got a call back. It felt like they didn't care about their guests at all. Also, the suite's minibar is entirely chargeable, and there are no additional services. It really felt like I paid a hefty price just to rent the room itself. I can't really praise the service from a five-star Marriott-branded hotel. This review is a heads-up for anyone considering booking this hotel. Though I doubt W Osaka will care about my review; they're always fully booked and don't lack customers. Oh, and the front desk concierge who spoke Chinese were all from Taiwan.

WWandouxiaobeibiWhen we visit Osaka, we often choose the Swissôtel Nankai. It's a bit pricey, but you're paying for unparalleled convenience – everything from transport to shopping and dining is right at your doorstep. The front desk staff arranged for a room with an amazing view. The floor attendants were attentive and thoughtful. When it rained, the bell staff didn't hesitate to lend us an umbrella. The Teppanyaki restaurant on the 10th floor was absolutely fantastic. The only minor downside was that the shower water pressure was low and it wasn't hot enough; I think it might need some maintenance. Despite that, it will likely still be our top choice for our next trip to Osaka. We hope it continues to improve!

AAnonymous UserFacilities: The lobby is very stylish, though the room is a bit small, especially the bathroom where there's hardly space to turn around. However, the bed is huge, made of two single beds pushed together, and it was the most comfortable sleep I had on this trip. Cleanliness: It's very clean. Ambiance: It's considered one of the more upscale hotels in the area, with many foreign guests staying here. Service: Overall, the service was very satisfying. Location: The location is also very convenient; Hankyu + Lucua are all you need for shopping.

KKukudefeiniaoThis hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations; it's almost on par with a five-star hotel. I've stayed in many capsule hotels, and this one is the best. The large public bath has everything you could possibly need, they even provide swim trunks! Razors, toothbrushes, hand towels, bath towels, pumice stones, exfoliating mitts, and multiple types of facial cleansers – they have it all. Can you believe there's even an open-air bath? They also offer massages, but those are extra. And seriously, they even have a blood pressure monitor! After showering, you can grab a drink and some noodles, which can be charged directly to your room. The luggage area has a huge packing table, with space underneath for oversized luggage (I didn't use it so I don't know if there's a charge). The lounge area has sofas for watching TV, and even a smoking section – it's incredibly convenient! Right outside the hotel is Umeda Higashidori Street, where bunny girls invite you to all-you-can-drink deals, and there are all sorts of food options around. The capsule itself is quite spacious, and the bedding is incredibly clean – I mean five-star hotel quality clean. I don't understand why the rating is low; for me, the only 'downside' is that there are too many amenities and services to explore before I had to check out. For a capsule hotel, the service is almost too much! One final friendly tip: you'll still need to buy your own toothpaste...
