"The location is very convenient, right in front of Zoo-mae Station and within walking distance to Tennoji. The room was very simple, just a tatami mat. My room had ventilation, but the heater wasn't working, so the room was quite cold. The restroom was shared by both genders, and there was only one... The shower situation was the most inconvenient. Women could only use the bathroom for one hour, from 9-10 PM. Because there are more male guests, men had a longer shower time (5-9 PM)."

AAnonymous UserThe room is quite spacious compared to other hotels in the same category, and it's very quiet. The self check-in process is smart and efficient. The breakfast is also very Japanese and delicious 😋, though it can get very crowded, so expect a queue.

김김래몬Although it's a bit of a walk from the station, I was extremely satisfied with the condition of the room for this price! Like most Japanese rooms, the space to open our luggage was a bit tight, but we managed to arrange it well and had a comfortable stay! Haha. It was a little disappointing that the window only opened a tiny crack, but the soundproofing was excellent, the bathroom was cozy, and most importantly, I loved having a bathtub! It was also great that there's a convenience store nearby and Dotonbori is only about a 10-minute walk away! You can grab as many amenities and towels as you need from the lobby on the first floor, and I even saw some Koreans having a simple meal there! The front desk staff were really friendly, and I was surprised by how spacious the elevator was, which isn't typical for Japan, haha. We paid around 15 for three nights, and we're so satisfied!

AAnonymous UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money, a truly pleasant surprise! The hotel itself is quite new and not too far from the subway station. Being located at Honmachi Station, you can even walk to Shinsaibashi, and Umeda is also very close, making it convenient to get anywhere without being too noisy. Although the room isn't huge, it's well-equipped, clean, and the bed is comfortable. My room was on the 29th floor; when I opened the curtains, there was plenty of natural light, and absolutely no street noise. Downstairs, there's a laundry room with washer-dryer combos, and complimentary toothbrushes are available for self-service. Plus, right next to the front desk downstairs is a Lawson convenience store, so if you need to grab anything small, it's super convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Perhaps the only minor drawback is that the water temperature in the bathroom wasn't quite hot enough.

GGuest UserThis was my first time choosing this place for a business trip. The location was great, not too far from the station. I picked it because I dislike the noisy and chaotic central tourist areas, and I was ultimately satisfied with my choice. It’s a good place to experience local charm, and it only takes about 15 minutes or less by subway to get to the city center, which I thought was quite reasonable. The facilities were clean and trendy, which I liked. The large communal bath, only big enough for two people, was always crowded and required a wait, but I figured it was better than not having one at all. However, regarding the cleaning service, it would have been better if they had communicated more clearly that requests needed to be made the day before. After two days, I asked for cleaning at the front desk when I was heading out, but it was refused. I think a bit more flexibility in their policy would be beneficial. Anyway, the overall facilities were decent, and I would be willing to stay here again in the future.

LlinssoThis place is conveniently located near Shin-Imamiya Station, close to Nishinari's attractions. Compared to Toyoko Inn 1, the facilities here are all new and clean.
Pros:
1. Surprisingly good hairdryer for its small size, provided in the room.
2. Individual air conditioning in each room, allowing for separate heating and cooling control.
3. Liquid soap, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers. The shared restrooms are clean.
4. Free umbrella rental at the front desk.
Cons:
1. Terrible soundproofing. I recommend bringing earplugs. Even when being careful, opening and closing the room door makes noise, meaning you're exposed to all the movements of others.
2. Awful TV internet. Just don't bother turning it on.
Overall: Whether you get a good night's sleep depends on the manners of your neighbors on the floor. In my case, regardless of nationality (including Koreans), everyone was cheerfully socializing with their companions in the hallway, so I just mentally let it go. Other than that, the cleanliness, location, and facilities were all satisfactory! A private room in Japan at this price is an absolute steal.

AAnonymous UserThe room itself was ok. Clean and comfortable. Just that the sharing toilet is quite smelly. The owner (I assume) was friendly and saw us came in early in the rain and let us check in earlier by 1hr. But beware, front desk are usually closed until 15:00hrs. Public bath and shower room are located at 1st floor. microwave are available. The only down side about the room is the window are not able to open. The location was about 10min to JR Shin Imamiya Station and another kintetsu station. The area itself is considered the most ”dangerous” area in Osaka. However I still feel that it is much safer comparing to many other countries. There are just some homeless folk around and I think they are perfectly fine. This hotel is a much better option that hostel for me as I can get my own room and the tatami room are quite spacious and comes with TV and a half sized refrigerator with freezer.

GGuest UserThis location was my last of my trip in japan and it left me a very good impression. I got to talk with various types of people and the owner is very friendly too. He is very efficient in the way he manages this hostel and it is admirable.
As per usual, hostels in japan really never disappoint, the layout of this hostel is like living in an actual Japanese house remodelled into a co-living space for 10, you can tell from the kitchen and the bathroom, it was clean, very lovely and homey. There is also a very nice nearby park where many locals do their routines like cycling, running, camping. It was very enjoyable to observe the lifestyle there, I also went to the onsen 18 minutes away by walking.
I would say this location is a lovely experience especially for understanding a little of the local's every day life. Plus, a great stay to meet all sorts of travellers. And the owner is lovely to talk to, I love it here, I'll come back again if I can!
The tomato theme is just part of the appeal! Aesthetic and comfortable, there's a tomato room at lv3 haha he said over 100+ tomato themed collections!

GGuest UserMy room was on the second floor, and the stairs were a bit steep and narrow, so I had to be careful with my luggage. The kitchen had a fridge, microwave, pots, dishes, and salt. The washing machine cost 100 yen for 30 minutes, but the dryer was broken. The staff were very friendly, and there were often people from different countries chatting in the evenings, which created a nice atmosphere.

GGuest UserA good place to stay if you need a cheap place in Osaka. Quite central location at the entry of Nishinari ward, 10 minutes walk from a touristic area with good transportation and plenty of restaurants and bar. Tge curtains are not blinding so do not stay here if you need complete darkness. Also the bathrooms are very rudimentary, but the hotel offers a discounted access to the nearby onsen, where you can relax and wash properly.
