"Right in the heart of Osaka, the price is unbeatable if you wish to opt for a solo room at a budget. Upon entering you’re instantly greeted warmly by a member of staff. I was very surprised and happy they speak English! After that, they show you to your room personally with a brief tour of the common room, kitchen, bathroom and the filtered water machine. A slight criticism is that there’s no water filter on each floor. As someone who stayed on the fourth floor it was a hassle to walk down 8 flights of steps back to the ground floor to top up. The setback that comes with the beauty of a tatami floor is that tourists are not aware of the hollow flooring, and as such the stomping can be felt from your neighbours. It can be equated to noise disturbance— and this is also the case with the construction happening in the City building next door. In regards to bathroom, there’s only 2 on the 4th floor as far as I’m aware. It’s well kept to use, but at times the smell is horrendous, so I’m not sure if the ventilation is an issue. The room is basic and does the job. There’s a comfortable mattress which I loved, a fan (air con if you have opted this), ample space for luggage and hanging your clothes. There’s a fridge and microwave on each floor, which are all clean and it’s nice to heat up bentos to enjoy in your own space! With the luxury of privacy, the solo room definitely worth the price. t"

Very close (ab 100 - 200 m) to Namba stns for Nankai Kansai-Airport Express and also JR lines, and a famous Namba walking street. Many halal restaurants nearby. The room though a bit small but is compactly designed for a minimalis living. The free breakfast is very simple but just enough to begin your day. Check in/out is done through a machine with staff assistant.

This hotel is super convenient! There are three convenience stores just a short walk away, and a self-service laundry nearby, which was a huge plus. But the best part was definitely the staff – they were incredibly friendly and explained everything well in English, even though I don't speak Korean. I stayed in a twin room, and it was really affordable and perfect if you're just looking for a place to sleep. If you're on a budget, I highly recommend it! The only minor drawback is that it's about a 15-minute walk to Dotonbori.

This was my second stay here, and I really enjoyed it once again. The hotel is modern, clean, with great facilities. I especially appreciated the gym and sauna, which made it easy to relax and unwind. It’s also very convenient to have a laundry room and even an ice machine available. The location is excellent, and everything feels well thought out. My room was comfortable and practical, with nice details that made the stay enjoyable. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely come back again.

This location was my last of my trip in japan and it left me a very good impression. I got to talk with various types of people and the owner is very friendly too. He is very efficient in the way he manages this hostel and it is admirable. As per usual, hostels in japan really never disappoint, the layout of this hostel is like living in an actual Japanese house remodelled into a co-living space for 10, you can tell from the kitchen and the bathroom, it was clean, very lovely and homey. There is also a very nice nearby park where many locals do their routines like cycling, running, camping. It was very enjoyable to observe the lifestyle there, I also went to the onsen 18 minutes away by walking. I would say this location is a lovely experience especially for understanding a little of the local's every day life. Plus, a great stay to meet all sorts of travellers. And the owner is lovely to talk to, I love it here, I'll come back again if I can! The tomato theme is just part of the appeal! Aesthetic and comfortable, there's a tomato room at lv3 haha he said over 100+ tomato themed collections!

I was looking for the cheapest hotel with good reviews near Dotonbori in Osaka and found this place. The interior might look old, but it's incredibly well-maintained and I loved it! Especially the staff, everyone was so friendly, and the location was perfect! In conclusion, I would definitely stay here again. Pros: - Great for getting around (especially convenient for catching the limousine bus to Kansai Airport; you can get there in 10-15 minutes by going underground with your suitcase). - Extremely friendly staff. - Excellent cleanliness. Cons: - Having to leave the key at the counter every time you go out. - Feels a bit small for two people (if you want to open 30-inch and 28-inch suitcases, you have to do it near the entrance, and it feels cramped when moving to the bathroom). - Occasionally, cigarette smoke comes up from the first floor if someone is smoking. - A bit noisy, so if you're sensitive to sound, you might want to avoid it. I had to go to Tokyo for a day, so about a week beforehand, I asked if I could leave my luggage just for the day before check-in. They said yes, but when I arrived, they changed their tune, saying that on the day of check-in it's free, but before that, it costs 500 yen per suitcase. Still, I thought it was better than using a locker, so I paid the fee to store them. Overall, I'm satisfied!

The situation was terrible during the day on December 5th. I took a shower before noon and returned to my room to find the balcony door open. Since I'm on the lower bunk, the wind was blowing in. I initially thought it was a hostel staff member opening it for ventilation, but it was still open when I came back in the evening. Who will be responsible if my things go missing? It seems the guest on the upper bunk opened it. The whole thing is awful.

My room was on the second floor, and the stairs were a bit steep and narrow, so I had to be careful with my luggage. The kitchen had a fridge, microwave, pots, dishes, and salt. The washing machine cost 100 yen for 30 minutes, but the dryer was broken. The staff were very friendly, and there were often people from different countries chatting in the evenings, which created a nice atmosphere.

The location is very convenient, right in front of Zoo-mae Station and within walking distance to Tennoji. The room was very simple, just a tatami mat. My room had ventilation, but the heater wasn't working, so the room was quite cold. The restroom was shared by both genders, and there was only one... The shower situation was the most inconvenient. Women could only use the bathroom for one hour, from 9-10 PM. Because there are more male guests, men had a longer shower time (5-9 PM).

Not much to complain about, quite organized for a budget hotel. Very strict with rules. For the price I would have to rate this place as very good. On the other hand the neighborhood is downscale, but most of these budget hotels are in this area so again not much to complain about.

The surrounding transportation is quite convenient. However, hygiene is a big issue; the smoke smell is extremely strong! The room door was also rusty, I even thought it was a warehouse door. The shower was on the first floor, which… I ended up giving up on showering, it felt even more disgusting.
