About a 20-minute tram ride from the city center. There's a supermarket and a drugstore nearby, and about 800-900 meters away, there's also a large shopping mall with a cinema and a big Carrefour. It's less crowded there, which makes for a pleasant shopping experience.
This area seems like a hotel district, with three hotels located here. Taxis can't enter, so they have to stop at the intersection, and you have to walk the rest of the way in.
Hotel Metropol Review: A Perfect Stay in Warsaw
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently stayed at the Hotel Metropol, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. If you are looking for convenience and comfort in Warsaw, this is the place to be.
Location & Accessibility
The location is simply perfect. It is a mere 5-minute walk from the Central Railway Station (Warszawa Centralna), making arrival and departure incredibly stress-free. Furthermore, the hotel serves as a great starting point for sightseeing; it is a very pleasant stroll away from the Zygmunt’s Column, the Presidential Palace, and the Royal Castle.
The Room
I stayed in an Executive Room, which was impressively spacious and spotlessly clean. The room offered wonderful views of the city, providing a great atmosphere to relax in after a long day of exploring.
Amenities & Service
Breakfast: The morning spread was comprehensive and delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes.
Staff: The reception team deserves a special mention—they were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the check-in and check-out process seamless.
Veredict: Whether you are in town for business or leisure, I highly recommend Hotel Metropol for its unbeatable location and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again!
Overall, the hotel was quite good. The location was excellent, and self-check-in was very convenient. It was clean throughout. One small suggestion: I would appreciate the addition of another toilet or a sink in the shower area.
The hotel is simply excellent, I will definitely go back there, the only thing we didn't like was the man at the reception, we were in this hotel in November for 4 days, but we decided to stay two days more, we decided to ask the price for 2 days, the man said $370, and we had to rent a room in another hotel and leave, but when we looked online the price for the hotel was much lower than he said, we bought another day at this hotel for $116, it was unpleasant to go back and forth from different hotels, and it seemed to me that the man at the reception was arrogant, that it was awkward to say we won’t pay $370 for two nights, we felt uncomfortable… Overall the hotel is super
This hotel in Warsaw seems to cater to group bookings, with breakfast included, all for around 10,000 yen. If you're coming from the city center, you can take a national train or similar to the East Station. As for amenities, there's a TV and a kettle, but no air conditioning or hairdryer. While there's an elevator, taking the stairs might be quicker, especially if there's a large group staying. The breakfast menu consists of scrambled eggs, ham, a few raw vegetables, bread, juice, coffee, and cornflakes. Again, finding a seat can be a challenge if a group is present. My room faced the main street, so I could clearly hear the sound of cars.
Great location, room was clean enough. Staff very average, in reception and bar staff was very polite. In a morning cleaner did not even say hello to guests passing by. At a breakfast staff was behaving like they don’t really want to be there… general staff impression below expectations …. Could be more smiling and engaged to their job role …. Impression and body language it’s very important when hosting people…
Perfect location, right in the city center and close to the main railway station with the convenient transportation to the airport. The room was clean, the breakfast excellent with multiple choice of meals.
Excellent stay. Clean rooms, attentive staff, and a convenient location. Everything was well organized and comfortable. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserA very nice, calm and comfortable room in a very good location close to a bus stop. Very good public communication to the airport some of the city's major attractions.
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, very close to Warsaw's Old Town, making it super convenient for getting around. The surrounding area is also great for a stroll, with lovely scenery! The breakfast spread was quite rich too, with plenty of choices!

AArcherMageI recently stayed at Castle Inn, a unique and charming hotel located right in the heart of Warsaw’s Old Town. What makes this hotel truly special is its historical setting – the building itself is several hundred years old, and you can feel the character and heritage as soon as you walk in. It’s not just a place to sleep; it’s an experience that adds to the atmosphere of visiting Warsaw.
One of the things I appreciated most about Castle Inn was the room. It was airy, clean, and comfortable, offering all the basic amenities I needed during my stay.
If you're interested in exploring the Old Town and nearby museums, monuments, and churches, you really can't pick a better spot. Just stepping out of the hotel in the early morning and taking a quiet walk through the cobblestone streets surrounded by historic buildings is a memorable experience.
One thing I regret is missing the Chopin music performances held every evening nearby. It’s a beautiful opportunity for classical music lovers, and I’ve promised myself I won’t miss it next time I visit.
Overall, Castle Inn provides a simple yet authentic and comfortable stay, especially ideal for those who are passionate about history, architecture, and cultural exploration.
HHGM720Overall had a really pleasant stay here! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and the staff were nice. Old Town Warsaw is also not too far away, and it’s such a lovely place to visit. Highly recommend eating Polish dumplings!
My friend who is a lifelong Warsaw resident thought this stay was a bit overpriced, but it’s still far more reasonable than hotels in many other European cities. My only hiccup with this booking was the shuttle service: it was confusing to coordinate. Most complimentary airport shuttle services have shuttles going back and forth every hour or every 30 minutes, so I didn’t realize this hotel only has one shuttle and one driver, meaning you have to individually schedule your pickup in advance. It’s hard to predict what time you’ll be ready to go, as even if your flight lands on time, you still have to de-board the plane, go through customs/immigration, wait for your baggage at the carousel and find your way to the exit. My bags took a while to come, and then I got a little lost, and the driver almost left without me. It was quite stressful, so I’d recommend giving yourself plenty of time to get from your plane to the shuttle.
BBob168991. The location is excellent, close to all the attractions.
2. The hotel's cleaning staff tidied the room daily.
3. There's a Vietnamese restaurant right across from the hotel.
4. A shopping mall, Carrefour, and Asian and European buffet restaurants (priced by weight) are conveniently located just 400 meters away.
AAokiRyotaThe location is a little far from Central of Warsaw. But, the room is so clean. Also, breakfast is so good. There are variety of food. Staffs are so kind!
MM28586****The hotel is centrally located, making it very convenient for getting around. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Palace of Culture and Science.
The room was a bit small but clean and tidy. When I extended my stay, they accommodated my request for a quieter room.
The breakfast offered a wide variety, including hot and cold dishes and fruits, catering to different tastes.
If I visit again in the future, I would definitely book this hotel.
