I stayed at this hotel in Salak Tinggi and booked it because I was attending the Michelin 12H Malaysia 2025 event in Sepang, which was about a 10–15 minute drive away.
The hotel is newly built, so everything was in good condition. The room was comfortable for two people and suitable for a good night’s rest. There are also shops within walking distance, which made the stay more convenient.
Overall, it was a good choice, especially for events held in Sepang.
Service highlights include: 24-hour front desk, express check-in/check-out, multilingual staff, etc.
Location highlights: Close to a gas station, near attractions/business districts/shopping malls, and the surrounding area is safe and quiet. However, there isn't a convenience store nearby, but if you don't mind, you can grab a coffee at the Starbucks located at the gas station.
The hotel located up above the Pelita Restaurant can be accessed using an elevator. Nice place to stay because shop/cafe/shopping mall just walking distance. Recommended.
Is something like a capsult hotel but u need to open the door using QR code. Just a queen size bed and towel in the room. Nothing else. Toilet was shared toilet. Quite dirty and some of the shower soap used finish but not replenish. NO TOILET PAPER PROVIDED. USE WATER OR BRING YR OWN.
HAIR dryer provided in toilet.
Overall the room is quite clean (cleaner than most budget room), but room pretty small. However the aircon is central-lise and u cannot control the temperature. The aircon was freezing cold. Late night till morning the room will be freezing cold. My blueberry bought from hypermarket didn spoilt after 3 days. Hope the management can do something about it. Water cooler provided but no fridge. Counter staff was very friendly, thumbs up to them.

Affordable and quiet nice for short stay especially if you transit more than 24 hour. Can use grab to go here. But beware scam by grab, they ask to raise the fare (different from Grab Apps). Staff were good, helping you to book grab without hidden fare. ✨🤙🏻
p/s: Sorry doesnt have a proper picture ✌🏼
Asian-style setting with bamboo curtains and on the floor bed, with an elevated floor, interior good for a traveler in search of uniqueness and simplicity. Convenient location, easy check-in, and promotional prices also place this hotel at the top of the list for budget stays.
This reception 24hr on. For free, they keep the luggage when needed. There are 2 types style of room. Left building is a bit old style. Still very good and spacious. Right building is very modern. Randomly chosen when check in. Definitely will book again when visit that area.
I recently stayed at Batu Caves Hotel, and my experience was a blend of convenience, affordability, and practicality—perfect for travelers who prioritize location and budget over luxury. What stood out immediately was the hotel’s exceptional proximity to the iconic Batu Caves. Being able to reach one of Malaysia’s most famous landmarks within minutes was incredibly convenient, especially for an early morning climb up the colourful steps before the crowds arrived. For visitors whose main itinerary revolves around exploring the Batu Caves area, this location is undeniably one of the hotel’s strongest advantages.
The hotel itself offers a no-frills, straightforward stay. My check-in process was smooth and efficient, conducted by staff who were polite and helpful. While the service isn’t luxurious, it is functional enough to make the overall stay comfortable. The room provided was modest in size and furnished with basic amenities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and essential toiletries. The bed was reasonably comfortable for a budget hotel, and I appreciated having access to stable internet for planning my trip and catching up on work.
Cleanliness, while generally acceptable, is an area that could be improved. The room was tidy, but certain corners and fixtures showed signs of wear and could benefit from deeper upkeep. That said, nothing was overly problematic—just something to be aware of if you are particular about immaculate spaces.
The surrounding area is very convenient, with eateries, convenience stores, and small shops located nearby. Whether you're craving local Malaysian dishes or need a quick drink from a minimart, everything is within walking distance. Despite the urban environment, the nights were relatively quiet, allowing for restful sleep after a long day of sightseeing.
Overall, Batu Caves Hotel is best suited for practical travelers, backpackers, short-stay guests, and anyone who values strategic location and affordability. It’s not a luxury stay, but it delivers exactly what it promises—a simple, budget-friendly accommodation close to one of Malaysia’s must-visit attractions.
I don't have high expectations since it's cheap, but the blanket, bedsheet, pillow cover, etc. have stains. Cleanliness is the least thing you can offer to your guests.

AAnonymous UserSmall hotel but very good for convenient for touring around the city. At the heart of downtown just right across famoous street food night market, surrounded by shopping centers and restos, few blocks away from the hop-on-hop-off tour bus. The room is clean, modern and well-equipped. Just a warning to those looking for a quiet relaxing stay, do ask for a room not facing the front street as night life in the area could be noisy. Staff are professional and helpful. Will book again if coming to KL.
AAlphieDint inform earlier that the driver will late because of buka puasa. And inform me to wait 1.5hrs.
At least, inform earlier then i may cancel the hotel booking.
The location is really ntg at all, no food, no convenient store, no clinic. Though is cheap but still feel doest worth the price.
And it is noise too, the whole night, i can hear few times at least 5 times, the door bang loudly.
NNFaaaaaaaaHThe staff were friendly, and I really appreciated the complimentary room upgrade — definitely a plus point. The overall cleanliness was average, but acceptable for a budget hotel. However, room security could be improved; the latch key wasn’t functioning, which might raise some safety concerns.
The bed was very comfortable, and I especially liked the soft pillows and cozy comforter. They provided two pillows for a single bed and four for a double bed, which was a very nice touch and made the stay much more comfortable.
The surrounding area felt a bit lonely since it’s located near an industrial zone with not many cars or people around. Parking is available right in front of the building, but it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. The reception isn’t available 24 hours, so it’s something to keep in mind for late check-ins or assistance.
Overall, it’s a budget-friendly hotel offering decent comfort and basic amenities.

GGuest UserSo far the location is good. Nearby got many places to eat and easy access to the public transportation. The service provided also good, every request was fulfilled well. Sad thing is we could not lock the toilet door. There is no lock provided😌. And the space is too small so might be not enough to put many things🐒.
GGuest UserOverall, it's decent. The location is unbeatable – just steps from the subway station and super convenient for dining. The rooms are a bit on the small side. Those with windows are much better; rooms without windows can feel quite cramped and claustrophobic.
KKevin AlmodovarThe hotel is in ideal location, near to various food stalls, restaurants, convenience stores, and malls to. Easy access to city, also the hotel is very clean and quiet. The hotel staff is very accommodating and didn't even let me pay for a money deposit. The staff make sure that I have a pleasant stay at their hotel, the room is very spacious for a single traveler like me. The bed and pillow is very comfortable, there's no unpleasant smell or anything I can complaint. They even have dedicated water refilling station and hot water ready for guests to use if they want to make a coffee or sip a hot cup noodles. Overall I have a pleasant stay, and If i will go back to Kuala Lumpur this hotel would be in my first list to booked for my stay.
GGuest UserThe location is near to some local shops-7eleven clinics and a restaurant. Amenities are excellent -water dispenser, kettle, microwave. Room is clean and pleasant. A bit small but its ok for me as it is sparkling clean. Toilet is also clean and everything works as it should be.
