We chose this hotel for our trip to Yabuli, and its location is fantastic. There are plenty of recreational activities right within the resort. Our stay was excellent; the room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was super comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was very efficient. The environment is quiet, and overall, it offers good value for money. Plus, the sightseeing cable car offers beautiful views, and the Rainbow Flying Carpet is exciting and fun! Highly recommend!

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and felt very comfortable and satisfied. Despite being an older hotel, the management is excellent. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff are warm and attentive, making you feel right at home. The location is also great; Metro Line 3 and the Songhua River cableway are just across the street. What's particularly noteworthy is the fantastic restaurant. The environment is clean and tidy, the facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast is very rich with a wide variety of choices, easily meeting five-star standards.

The Grand Mercure Harbin Sophia Church is well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient, and the rooms are really comfortable. It's an excellent choice for business travelers and families on vacation. Thumbs up for the great service! I highly recommend staying here!

On a business trip, I stayed at the Harbin Huater Hotel. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation. The rooms are clean and quiet, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation. It's suitable for both work and rest, with good quality facilities and efficient front desk service. Overall, it offers good value for money. Recommended for business travelers.

My son's girlfriend came to Harbin for a visit, so I booked this hotel for her. As soon as she checked in, she sent me WeChat messages and photos, saying how much she loved it here. She said the hotel was like a European castle and the room felt like it was set up for a princess. The hotel is in a prime location on Central Street, within walking distance to all the main attractions. She really enjoyed the breakfast and afternoon tea, as well as the welcome fruit and souvenirs. She only speaks a little Chinese, and mentioned that Ms. Ranran at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She specifically asked me to give the hotel a 5-star review.

Our stay at Grand Mansion 1903 during our Harbin trip far exceeded our expectations, offering an immersive experience of a century-old Russian-style residence. The hotel is a historic building, originally built in 1903, and is located in the heart of Central Street. Its prime location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral, making shopping, dining, and sightseeing incredibly convenient and saving us the hassle of commuting. Stepping into the lobby, we were greeted by gilded domes, opulent crystal chandeliers, vintage oil paintings, and antique furnishings, creating an instantly captivating atmosphere. The iconic century-old elevator is a unique feature, with its retro iron grille door, making it feel like we were transported back to an old Russian aristocratic mansion. The guest rooms perfectly balance vintage elegance with modern comfort. Carved solid wood furniture and velvet curtains add to the charm, while amenities like underfloor heating, capsule coffee machines, and high-end bathroom products ensure a superb stay. The hotel skillfully blends the historical essence of the old building with excellent living comfort, making for a wonderful resting experience. The hotel service was attentive and thoughtful, with butler-style reception making us feel exceptionally welcome. They also offer a complimentary Russian costume experience, perfect for taking great photos. The breakfast at the underground wine cellar restaurant was of high quality, offering both authentic Russian delicacies and Chinese dishes, with a rich variety and a stylish dining environment. Overall, this is not just a hotel, but more like a small historical museum. It allows you to experience the hundred-year history and charm of Harbin while offering an excellent location and meticulous service. It's highly recommended for anyone visiting Harbin.

Japan is renowned worldwide for its tea ceremony (Chado) and flower arranging (Kado). The tea ceremony is a distinctive culinary art and a form of social etiquette for tea gatherings. It not only requires an elegant and natural environment but also dictates a precise set of procedures for boiling, brewing, and tasting tea. Great care is taken in selecting and appreciating tea utensils, arranging and decorating the tearoom's calligraphy and paintings, and even in the construction of the tearoom itself. The Japanese view the tea ceremony as a means of self-cultivation, enhancing cultural literacy, and socializing.

The hotel facilities are indeed a bit old. The first room we were given had inconsistent hot and cold water, making it impossible to shower. We had to buy a basin for takeout to mix water to a suitable temperature for our child's bath. We initially considered changing hotels, but after reporting the issue to the front desk the next day, they moved us to a different room, and we didn't have that problem anymore. After staying a few days, I can say the service is truly excellent; they accommodate every request. We ended up extending our stay for several more days.

First, let me talk about the hotel itself, to provide some reference for future travelers. The hotel is located in Songbei District, which is quite convenient if you're planning to visit Sun Island or the Ice and Snow World. The service was very attentive, and the entire hotel was decorated with unique flair. The staff all wore ethnic costumes, and the ubiquitous log-cabin style gave it a full sense of design. The rooms also featured exceptionally large floor-to-ceiling windows, offering an unbeatable view. Now, let me share my personal feelings. I'm originally from Genhe, the very place where Aoluguya (the hotel's inspiration) is located. It's been many years since I moved away and haven't returned to Genhe. Over time, I've even developed a kind of 'near-home apprehension.' For me, choosing Aoluguya was an absolute no-brainer. My home and my elementary school all had some connection, big or small, to Aoluguya. Staying at Aoluguya this time, there were truly many details that touched me. For example, the photos and stories of the Ewenki tribe in the hotel lobby, the reindeer and birch elements visible everywhere in the lobby, corridors, and rooms, and even the books I found in my room: 'The Right Bank of the Argun River' and 'Aoluguya Customs.' What others might see as a distant and mysterious place, for me, represents familiar hometown sights and sounds ingrained in my very being. I can't represent all of Genhe, nor do I have the right to speak on behalf of Genhe. But as a Genhe native, I sincerely thank you for creating such a hotel in Harbin, using the imagery, elements, and symbols of Genhe. It allowed me to briefly dream of my hometown, a thousand miles away. Thank you for keeping this flame alive in Harbin. I wish you prosperous business, so that Harbin will always have a place that holds the snow and wind, the ancient pines, and the negative ions of the Taiga forest. The next time I come to Harbin, or rather, every time from now on, I will definitely come back. 🌲🦌

This is the 7th Ritz-Carlton I've stayed at in China, so this review is a comparative one, judging it against other Ritz properties. Overall: The hotel is excellent 👍. Its location is close to the Harbin Ice and Snow World, the environment is superb, the facilities are great, and the service is on the higher end of the Ritz-Carltons I've experienced. Room: Relatively new, with well-designed facilities. I booked a Club River View King Room, and the view was absolutely fantastic 👍. Club Benefits: The hotel's executive lounge has been closed for over 6 months. Club benefits have been relocated to the restaurant and the lobby lounge. The afternoon tea was outstanding, with quality and taste ranking among the best I've had at Ritz-Carltons. Dinner and lunch were served as a buffet directly in the Western restaurant, which was a very generous move by the hotel, effectively upgrading the club benefits' standard and class 👍. The food quality was comparable to that of the Nanjing Ritz-Carlton (minus champagne, but they had ham and salmon sashimi). Everyday soft drinks from the lounge benefits could be enjoyed at the lobby lounge, including Evian water, which really elevated the experience 👍. The only minor flaw was the fried dough twists at the buffet; they had become damp and soft. Gym: The gym is located on the 37th floor and offers river views. The environment and equipment are quite comprehensive compared to other Ritz-Carltons. However, it still falls short when compared to other hotel groups. For serious trainers, it might feel a bit lacking (it seems most Ritz-Carltons don't prioritize gyms much). Nevertheless, it's sufficient for general use. Breakfast: A wide variety of choices, and the taste was quite good. However, the wontons and baozi were pre-packaged, not freshly made, which is a step down from other Ritz-Carltons. Service: The overall service was excellent, meeting Ritz-Carlton's standards. However, I have two suggestions I hope the hotel will consider. First: Check-in is on the 54th-floor lobby. After exiting the elevator on the 54th floor, you need to make two turns to reach the front desk. There were no staff members to guide guests at the elevator on the 54th floor, which is not very friendly for first-time guests. I made this suggestion on the day of my arrival, but despite several entries and exits during my stay, I didn't see any improvement. The hotel could learn from other Ritz-Carltons. The Chengdu Ritz-Carlton also has check-in upstairs, but there's always someone at the elevator to guide guests. The Nanjing and Sanya Ritz-Carltons have staff directly taking you to the front desk from downstairs. The Suzhou Ritz-Carlton uses a walkie-talkie downstairs to inform the upstairs reception to assist guests. These are all practices you could adopt. Second: Due to the lounge closure, soft drinks are usually served in the lobby lounge, but there's no dedicated drink menu. Staff members show guests options via screenshots on their phones, which seems unprofessional. I hope they can provide a special soft drink menu for executive club guests. Third: During dinner at the buffet restaurant, there were many service staff, and they were excellent. However, at lunch, while there were still a good number of staff, they seemed to be from other departments helping out, not dedicated restaurant staff, so the service felt less professional. Summary: A highly recommended hotel, excellent overall.
