This hotel boasts an unbeatable location right on Central Street. Step out the door and you're immediately in the heart of the action, perfect for shopping and trying local snacks. It's also just a short walk to the Flood Control Memorial Tower and Saint Sophia Cathedral, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The entire staff was warm and polite, check-in was quick, and they were always prompt in responding to any requests. Their thoughtful service made me feel completely at home. The hotel's overall decor is opulent and grand, with a magnificent and refined lobby. Every detail exudes quality, making it very photogenic. The buffet breakfast offers a rich variety, including Chinese and Western options, Northeastern specialty pastries, hot dishes, desserts, fruits, and drinks. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and I started each day feeling fully satisfied. The room itself was spacious and bright, meticulously cleaned, with soft and skin-friendly bedding and a mattress that was just right – neither too soft nor too hard. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a full night's sleep even though we were in a bustling area. The bathroom featured a wet and dry separation, high-quality toiletries, and strong water pressure. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with clean elevators and public areas that were spotless and odor-free. This hotel is perfect for both leisure travel and short getaways, offering incredible value for money. Staying here in Harbin is definitely a sure bet. I'll choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to all travelers!

This was my first time staying at a hotel in Harbin, and I must say the facilities and service were top-notch. The bed, as always, was incredibly comfortable – I slept wonderfully. The rooftop bar at night had a great ambiance, offering fantastic views of Harbin's night cityscape and the river. The breakfast was a rich mix of Chinese and Western options, with plenty of variety. From check-in to check-out, all the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, often striking up conversations with me. My holiday experience was excellent! I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

The concierge service in the river view room was superb, even better than a five-star hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, surpassing five-star hotels with an abundance of delicious options. The best part is that breakfast is served until 12 PM, which is perfect for late risers like me. They even had ice cream and Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles! After checking out from the Ritz-Carlton Harbin, I came here. Although the room's hardware is comparable to a budget hotel, the service from everyone at the hotel was consistently excellent. We received a welcome gift before checking in and a souvenir after checking out – how many five-star hotels offer that? This family-friendly hotel is great, the European-style decor is beautiful, and from the river view room, you can actually see the river!

The hotel is a beautiful old Russian-style building with an excellent location. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, just a 3-minute walk to Central Street, yet it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The interior is beautifully decorated, clean, and tidy, with new and functional facilities. What truly stands out is the hotel's service, which is incredibly thoughtful and detailed. First, the front desk gave me a complimentary room upgrade. Then, throughout my stay, the room was cleaned impeccably every day, and they offered personalized service based on my habits – for instance, noticing I drink a lot of water, they would leave extra bottles. Even my charging cables left in the room were neatly organized. On one of the days during my stay, it happened to be my birthday. While I was out, I received a call from the hotel, and they offered to order a cake for me! This truly is customer service taken to the extreme! I repeatedly declined, but in the end, the hotel ordered the smallest one as per my request, which was incredibly thoughtful. My entire stay here was wonderful, and I want to thank the hotel and all the staff.

This hotel is perfectly located, just a 1-minute walk from Central Avenue and a 7-minute walk to Saint Sophia Cathedral. The neighborhood is packed with great food options. The Red Brick Street morning market is a 5-minute walk away and stays open until 11 AM on weekends (9 AM on weekdays). The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a magnificent, opulent décor befitting its century-old history. The soundproofing is also quite good. The garden-view bed was quiet and very comfortable. The main draw is its incredible convenience to Central Avenue, being right in the city center, and close to subway access. We tried several local restaurants nearby, including Shanhetun Iron Pot Stew, Laochujia Northeastern Cuisine, Tongheju Northeastern Cuisine, and Xiongdi BBQ… This is definitely a place I'd visit again. Traveling with seniors, it was so convenient to pop back to the hotel for a rest between sightseeing. The location is superb. The front desk staff even brought us afternoon tea, which was a very nice touch. Make sure to try Qiulin brand kvass, as the Xuexiong brand is a bit too sweet. And the Madieer popsicles come in a wide variety of flavors… If you're coming to Harbin, choose 1903…

The location is great, and the facilities are good. The breakfast area offers a nice river view, allowing you to enjoy the Songhua River while eating. We received complimentary breakfast for adults, but had to pay for our child. The breakfast view offers good value for money; the food itself was standard, though the chicken dish was quite tasty. The room was also very clean. My only complaint is the unprofessional service: We booked a king room and arrived at the front desk very early in the morning. Since our room wasn't ready, we asked to pre-check in. The receptionist took our deposit and scanned our IDs, but said the room card would only be issued in the afternoon. I said 'okay' and specifically reminded the front desk that I had requested a high floor on Trip.com, and since our check-in was being processed, they should definitely reserve one. The receptionist confirmed. However, when we returned to the hotel in the evening, a different set of staff was at the front desk and told me there were no high-floor rooms available, only one on the 2nd floor. Why? The hotel explained there had been a miscommunication during the shift handover. As an alternative, they offered a twin-bed suite on a higher floor. Honestly, I wasn't happy. The original room type I booked was about 100 yuan less than a suite. The hotel essentially swapped my king bed for twin beds and gave me a less desirable 'leftover' suite. It's unacceptable that I had to bear the consequences of the hotel's mistake. Indigo is known for its personalized service, but this experience was very disappointing and negatively impacted my trip.

Big shout out to front office manager Wang Jingwen and Xu Hongyue for their quick and efficient check-in process. Their warm smiles and helpful attitudes were much appreciated. The breakfast at Coffee Garden was as amazing and plentiful as always, and the pool lifeguard was very enthusiastic. All staff members were professional and well-mannered.

This hotel is really fantastic. It is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is absolutely perfect -- close to places to eat, shop and close to the pedestrian street. The room is lovely, with mini bar, a little couch, a tub and its clean and lovely. The staff brought and left me snacks, and brought me delicious fruit. Plus I found the people of Mudanjiang to be really friendly and lovely as I walked around the city.

Facilities: Quite new and well-equipped. The pillows and slippers were very comfortable. Hygiene: The cleaning staff was very nice and even helped clean the room late in the afternoon without any fuss. Environment: Just across the road is the Songhua River, and the sightseeing cable car is only a couple hundred meters away – very convenient. Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful. I suddenly felt unwell today, and the front desk staff was very patient and attentive, helping me get hot drinks and water. I really appreciate it. They also extended my check-out time, which was very considerate, allowing me to get a good sleep at noon and feel much better. Overall, a fantastic experience.

I have been based in Shanghai for a very long time now, only leaving during the covid years. I love 'my city', (as kitsch as this may sound), but want to explore the north of China, too. My welcome in Heihe was excellent with the driver I found to take me to the hotel doubling as a warm, humorous, and helpful guide. Price wise, it was convenient and easy to reach the hotel for a very fair fare of 100RMB,(about 20 AUD).The experience was further enhanced when I arrived and the two young women who were working at the front desk helping me change rooms to one with a view of the magnificent frozen river/border. The hotel itself is immaculate and has an 'old world charm'. Breakfast is served in splendour but you may want to ascertain which days the the buffet is available. It is wonderful to return to the hotel's warmth after a long day of photography in the snow. Highly recommended.
