Unfortunately, my stay was not very comfortable. The soundproofing is very poor, and there is a nightclub nearby that plays very loud music late into the night, making it difficult to sleep. For those who drive, can park on the roadside across the street for free after 6pm. In addition, the shower water pressure was very low, which was disappointing.
Facilities: The resort has complete facilities, a good environment, and a large golf course. The hotel rooms are average, American style.
Hygiene: The hygiene of New Zealand hotels is good.
Environment: Really good! There are also many foreigners staying here, all of whom come to play golf on vacation.
Service: Not bad!
My trip was very tight, and I booked this place just a few days in advance – it was almost fully booked! It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Queenstown town center. The room was quite spacious and very quiet. There's an airport bus stop nearby, and the lake is right across the street, offering beautiful views!
Very good a hotel apartment, very warm design, perfect facilities, neat and clean, just like your own home. Enjoying the sun on the balcony and drinking a glass of beer is life. The weather in Wanaka is too good. The hotel service is very nice and responds to requests. Also the washing machine comes with disposable detergent, too courteous. The bed was also very comfortable, the shower water was large enough to shower and shampoo very comfortable. Hope to have the chance to stay again next time.
The location of the hotel is really good. I was on a business trip for a week and chose to stay in a better hotel in town for the last two days. The service was also very friendly. However, I found a lot of body hair in the toilet when I got to the room. I don’t know why a hotel that costs 2,000 yuan a night would have such sanitary conditions. Apart from this, there are no major problems. It was a good stay! !
For the hotel
That they had everything we needed
For the hospitality
Every person you meet all to cheering with you and willing to help you
Marcus help us to set up a nice tour which we enjoyed so much for Dart river experience
If you absolutely must stay here, choose the lake-view apartment. I didn't pay attention when booking. Firstly, the room was small, and secondly, there's nowhere to eat nearby except the hotel restaurant. I originally wanted to change my plans midway to visit Dunedin. I submitted a request to modify the dates on Trip.com two days before check-in, but I never received a reply. It wasn't until I asked in person on the day of check-in that they said it was possible, but they would charge us over 3,000 for one night. 🙄 I have to give Trip.com a serious bad review here. Initially, they said they would intervene if the hotel didn't respond by the deadline, but later they said that since the hotel's response deadline had passed, the original order would proceed. They didn't even bother with a superficial effort. When submitting the modification request, I noticed that we had pre-booked a lake-view room for three nights for over 10,000, but upgrading to a better room type later on was actually over a thousand cheaper. The only upside is the beautiful scenery. Everything else is a complaint. After eating at the restaurant, we wanted to go back to our room to rest, only to find that staff had entered the room to fix the air conditioning without any request from us. We'd been there for two nights and hadn't noticed any problem with the AC. The cleaning was also very perfunctory. The shower glass had too many gaps, so water always leaked everywhere, and when our wet slippers were thrown away, they weren't replaced. In short, don't expect to be treated like a guest when you come here.
Our first room wasn't great; the window faced a construction site. After we switched rooms, it was much better. The location is excellent, but it's uphill. The valet parking service was good, though.
We booked a total of 4 nights — 3 nights under one itinerary and an additional night under another. Upon arrival on our first day (around 7pm), we were assigned a lake view room (room type we booked) located right next to the reception. Unfortunately, the noise level was quite disruptive, with frequent foot traffic, people running along the corridor, and sounds coming from the reception area throughout our stay.
For the final night, we switched to a different room type (as booked) — an alpine view. Despite having specifically noted that we did not prefer a corner room, and receiving confirmation from the hotel that we would not be placed in one, we were assigned the very last room at the corner.
This was disappointing, especially given the prior communication. We had hoped for a more restful and accommodating stay.

GGrey mouserGorgeous aesthetic throughout this lovely hotel! Gorgeous views of the Shotover River, pool, sauna and steam room all make this a luxurious stay.
GGuest UserA family of four for two nights.
Pleasant arrangement:
We looked for a room together but was fully booked so we ended up booking two separate rooms. By the time we checked in, we were given a deal for an extra NZD300 per night for a decent spacious room, and we took it.
Friendly and helpful staff:
After we parked our car, the staff immediately gave us a helping hand for taking our bags and luggages showing us to the check in counter.
When we needed help for immediate medications, the staff brought us to the medical center which was a few minutes walk, and always back us up with our needs. We were so much appreciated.
Summary:
Worth staying.
Friendly and helpful staff around.
Cleanliness and neat.
Walking distance to skyline and downtowns.
Decent breakfast.
ZZhang(xinyan)We chose the Hilton again for our trip to Queenstown, New Zealand. While it's not right in the town center, transportation is super convenient. The hotel has its own water taxi that goes to and from the center daily. The first boat leaves at 8:15 AM, and then it's hourly after that. It costs 14 NZD per person and takes about 25 minutes. The last return trip is at 9:45 PM, and there's a timetable available at the front desk. The hotel is also only a ten-minute drive from the airport.
The hotel's setting and views are absolutely beautiful, right on the lake. You can take a lovely stroll along the lakeside in the mornings, and the restaurant is right there, so you can enjoy the lake view while you eat. The hotel has a Western restaurant, a bar and restaurant, and a coffee shop. The breakfast buffet is served in the Western restaurant and opens at 6 AM, which is great for guests who want to get an early start on their sightseeing. The food selection is comprehensive and tasty too! We had dinner at the Western restaurant on our first night and it was excellent, the steak was fantastic! The bar and restaurant is also good; on our last day, we got back late from our Milford Sound tour and just ordered pizza and beer at the bar. The pizza was absolutely delicious! The bar atmosphere was great too!
We booked a lake view king room, and the layout was nice, with full amenities. The hotel also has a pool, and the gym is open 24 hours. All in all, our stay and dining experience were very comfortable! Highly recommended!

JJ LindsayThis is a fantastic hotel with great engaging staff who show you around the hotel and explain everything when you arrive. The hotel provides drinks, milk tea and a coffee with a coffee maker in the the room. Downstairs there is a really nice hang out area with a complementary happy hour and tea, coffee and sweets. The decor is very moody and is unique from any other hotel I've stayed in. A huge amount of detail is paid to ensuring presentation is on point. There are nice views from most rooms and the location is nice and close to the middle of town. The only disappointment was $20 to use a carpark. That being said, there is plenty of on street parking if required.

GGuest UserECC is truly amazing. The interior design is incredibly stylish, the rooms are bright and spacious, and the aesthetics of industrial design are evident everywhere. I highly recommend it; it was a pleasant surprise.
AAnonymous UserThe location of this hotel is very good. It is right in the center of the town and you can walk to the most beautiful shore in three minutes. Anyway, it's convenient to go anywhere. The only problem is that you may have to look for parking on the roadside. The hotel room is really big, and the equipment and speakers inside are very good. It's also close to a bar, so it's a bit noisy at night. Everything in the refrigerator is free except alcohol, and there are unlimited refills. For breakfast, it is beautifully prepared on site downstairs. I remember that the big breakfast was about 30 New Zealand dollars. It is worth commenting and worth staying at.
