Really beautiful, luxury hotel. Although rather isolated, the hotel is well placed with the mountains behind it and the lake in front. Everything was really clean, comfortable, modern, and well looked after. I went during a very quiet time so there were very people there. If you go downhill, before the main road, there are a bunch of restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, petrol station etc.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to the airport bus stop, just a few minutes' walk away. The room was clean and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a nice river view. The front desk service was attentive, and breakfast was quite rich. They even offered complimentary afternoon tea upon check-in. Overall, it was a great experience with good value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

This was the best value-for-money hotel I stayed at during my time in Qinghai. InterContinental really knows how to deliver! The service was incredibly friendly, and the breakfast spread was impressive. When checking in, the front desk thoroughly explained the hotel's amenities and even openly addressed potential issues, like ongoing renovations. Though they mentioned renovations, I didn't hear any disruptive noise. My only real issue was how incredibly hot and dry the underfloor heating made the room; even with the humidifier and fan on, my nose was bleeding from the dryness, but honestly, that's more of a personal problem. The bedding was super comfortable, and they thoughtfully labeled the soft and firm pillows. Even with a bit of altitude sickness, I still managed to get a good night's sleep!

Absolutely fantastic! Hands down the best Hampton I've ever stayed at. From the bespectacled manager at the front desk who helped with our luggage on arrival, to the friendly chef preparing noodles at the ADD restaurant, and even the auntie in the laundry room, everyone left a truly memorable impression on us. We were so impressed, we ended up extending our stay for three nights. Every single staff member genuinely cares for the hotel, looks after and satisfies every guest, and goes above and beyond to resolve any issues they might have. Atour's most outstanding feature is its ”warm” service—not a rigid procedure, but a caring approach that provides emotional value. • Proactive and thoughtful: A warm late-night porridge is provided for early morning check-ins; if they see you have children, they'll quietly bring you children's slippers and amenity kits; they even remember your previous preferences and arrange them this time. • Just the right amount of distance: The service is warm but doesn't overstep boundaries, giving you enough personal space. This sense of balance makes many people feel comfortable.

I've been staying here for almost a month now. Overall, the hotel reception staff are very friendly, and the breakfast included is a plus. However, I always feel like the hotel doesn't have enough housekeeping staff. On my first night, they didn't clean until almost 6 or 7 pm on the second night, and their efficiency was terrible. I usually extend my stay every two or three days, and sometimes the housekeeping staff doesn't even come to clean. They don't leave toiletries or change towels. What's even more outrageous is that I've stayed for almost a month, and they've only changed the sheets and blankets once! How can they do housekeeping like that? I'm not saying they should change them every three to five days, but at least once a week! If I hadn't insisted on changing them, they probably would have changed them for the entire month. Also, there was a refrigerator in my room, meant for storing drinks. I figured the drinks were included in the room rate, so I asked her to put some in it, but she refused. If she doesn't want to put drinks in it, then what's the point of having a small refrigerator? They only clean what they can see, never mop the floor, and don't even wipe the table after cleaning! No mopping, no wiping! Another time, I wanted to sleep in, so I put up a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on my door, meaning I wouldn't have to clean. But they didn't leave me any toiletries or drinks! The next day, there wasn't even a toothbrush. At least leave your things at the door! They knew I was extending my stay; were they trying to save costs for the hotel?! It's really awful! I won't even post pictures; you can try staying three days in a row and see if what I'm saying is true.

The hotel is located near the Chaka Salt Lake. The hotel does offer room with oxygen supply for guests who are concern over high altitude sickness. We were there during low season and breakfast choices were very limited. I would like to comment on the wonderful service of the staff who went up and above to assist the us. The staff offered to take care of our laundry as timer on the dryer was not working and it's unclear when the laundry load can be dried. Would recommend this hotel to folks who plan to stay overnight in Chaka.

This hotel offers great value for money. The overall facilities are quite good, and I would still highly recommend it, especially if you're not sensitive to cigarette smoke. However, there are a few downsides: 1. The hot water is unstable, constantly fluctuating between cold and hot. 2. The floor has a very strong smoke smell. 3. The towels and pillowcases in the room also smell of smoke. 4. The room heating is too strong and dry, making it difficult to sleep.

The hotel boasts a quiet and comfortable environment with comprehensive facilities, ensuring a relaxing stay. Caroline at the front desk provided attentive and efficient service, promptly addressing all needs and facilitating smooth communication; overall, I was satisfied.
