The surrounding area is quite convenient and the environment is good, but it is a little far away from New Haven. If you drive, it is still very convenient. It is near the roadside and the shops are convenient for everything.
The location is excellent, right next to the old campus green at Yale University, and the surrounding area is lively with plenty of dining options. There's also parking available. However, the hotel is a bit old, and Wi-Fi comes with a charge.
It is a hotel that I would definitely like to use again. I was tired and came home, and I was able to relax with coffee. The staff is relatively friendly. The surrounding environment is wonderful.
Excellent hotel. Big room for families, clean and modern, excellent facilities. Great service. The free shuttle was brilliant, we used it to go and wander round the town and Yale campus.
The location is very biased, the environment is very beautiful, suitable for vacation and leisure, no microwave oven, eating instant noodles is very troublesome, breakfast is very rich, but at your own expense, it seems to be more than 10 dollars, the impression is very good
The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good. There are churches and other places to go around. It is within walking distance of the railway station and supermarket. There are also restaurants nearby, and it is not far from New Haven and New York.
I didn't realize there was no surface lots and I'd have to pay $25/day for parking. I might have missed that in the description so that's not really an issue. We were given a room on the top floor, in practically the farthest corner away from the elevator which was quiet, but far away from the rest of my daughter's teammates who were staying on lower floors. We dropped our stuff and went right to the pool. There were only 4 chairs and no towels left so we had to go searching for them and most of our stuff got wet sitting on the floor so that was frustrating. The signs on each floor say ”ice and vending” but the floors I checked had ice machines only and I had to resort to paying $4.00 for a can of orange soda at the bar for my daughter. The store in the hotel was closed, though I'm not sure if it would've been cheaper. After swimming and hanging out in the spacious lobby, we returned to our room to realize it wasn't very clean but it was time for my daughter to shower and go to bed since she had a gymnastics meet at 7:45 am. I took pictures of the hair tie in the sink, the bug on the bathroom floor, the hair on the vanity and floor, the stains on the bed skirt, etc. Kind of disappointed bc I usually stay at Marriott hotels for work and never have these issues. The coffee shop in the lobby was quick the next morning though which was good since we had to get up so early.
I traveled in the morning, because this hotel is close to the company, so I chose to stay. This hotel really needs to spit. The air-conditioning outlet in the room is on the floor. When the air-conditioning is turned on, the noise, Emma, originally needs jet lag, but This noise can't sleep at all, unless it can't stand it!
Also, talk about the breakfast at this hotel, a few things every day, no more choices! After eating for a day, I went to Diner, 3 km outside the hotel, the next day! Not recommended but no way, next time I live in countyard, just across the road!

XXINI used to live in Stamford. I chose this hotel-style apartment for the tour. I walked to restaurants and shopping malls. The security was very good. The opposite was the police station. The room is large and there is a kitchen living room where you can cook. The breakfast at the hotel is just a light breakfast, only milk coffee, donuts and cereals.

AAimilidouThis hotel is very special. The lobby is a bookstore from the English period. It is very cozy and has no commercial flavor. The guests here are also very polite. They come and go quietly or sit there to read. The room is very large, decorated in the French style of the English colonial period, with elegant blue tones. The bathroom is surprisingly large, and the kettle for boiling water is also very unique. I totally recommend friends to stay and experience it. Next to it is the Art Gallery and Yale U, which are within walking distance. Love it!

XXiaoxiaozhi:)The decoration is very tasteful, the service is also very good, the room has a small kitchen bar, microwave, refrigerator, induction cooker and tableware are all available. There is a free washing machine and dryer on the 6th floor. The location is very good, a few minutes drive from the train station and only ten minutes walk to Yale University. There is a popular ice cream shop nearby.
KKangle001Breakfast is a bit simpler, the shower water is small, not hot enough, too tired, waiting for a long time without hot water, I slept, the next morning tossed for nearly two hours, the water can take a bath. The hotel is very Nice, and the breakfast coupon is presented as compensation for the shower. Probably because of the renovation, the last time I stayed in the swimming pool was under renovation.
GGuest UserExcellent stay! The hotel was clean, modern, and had great amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Perfect location—close to attractions and dining. Breakfast was delicious with good variety. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. 5/5 stars!”
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is right in the school, the campus is very beautiful, it is the beginning of the school year, and the atmosphere of youth is everywhere. It is great to be young. The furnishings in the hotel are closely related to the school. The price is also suitable after the school starts, it is worth staying!
