3-Star Hotels in Vestland, Norway

For a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.

About an 8-minute walk from Bergen Station, and a 15-20 minute walk to the Bryggen area, this hotel boasts a great location. As it's a self-check-in hotel, the price point is very reasonable, making it perfectly adequate if you just need a place to sleep. It's clean, and even though it's self-check-in, you still see hotel staff around. I used the porter service for a fjord tour, and my luggage was properly stored in the baggage room.

Excellent location. 3-5min walk to tram #1 that takes you to the airport for an affordable price. Walk behind towards harbour, you will see Bryygen & fish market, all within 5-10min walk. After fish market is the 5hr ferry to flam, Norled. Train station is 15-20min walk beyond the fpuntain/pond. Room is spacious enough for a family of 3 or 4, as the sofa can sleep 2. The dish washer was not cleaned out & the dishes were left quite dirty from previous guests. I did a clean up of the kitchenette & sanitised the room myself. The next guest will be pleased. They did clear the garbage daily & reception was very helpful. Washing machine was not functioning well but you can still wash. Took abt two rounds, and it's free, just buy the laundry pods from reception. A small supermarket Rema1000 is nearby and there were plenty of food choices around, incl mcdonalds. All in all, we were pleased with the lodging.

Facilities: Complete, everything you need Hygiene: Cleaned every day, towels and bedding are relatively clean Environment: Downtown, some noise from the street at night is acceptable. There was also a fire alarm, everyone went downstairs, but no hotel staff explained the reason, and there was no staff Service: There is no front desk, you need to check in by yourself or go to the front desk of the chain hotel 200 meters away, which is inconvenient. Checking in at midnight may be troublesome

Great stay! The room very neat and clean. The hotel was easy to locate and well situated. The lounge area was very nice and even had free coffee. That was the best. Walking 3 flights of stairs with a heavy bad was a bit challenge after a long flight. All in all, great stay!

The hotel location is strategic in city center and very close to fish market. The room is basic and clean and the bathroom is all new and clean the breakfast is good.

Great clean, spacious serviced apartment, for a solo traveller. Both washing and drying machines (2 each) available in the building for use, which was very convenient after coming back from a few days of wild camping and outdoor adventures. One issued encountered was the room access through the phone - I had multiple instances where the room wouldn't unlock. Luckily a staff member was walking pass and issued a physical card for use.

Quirky Viking themed rooms were very spacious but had large skylights which would probably have been annoying in mid Summer  Gudvanger is a better location for staying than Flam itself which really is just a tourist trap cruise ship terminal for the scenic railway

The hotel is right opposite the station, very convenient. I stayed in a room facing the lake and had a small balcony. The scenery from there was very beautiful. My friends who were traveling with me originally stayed in a room facing the mountain. After coordinating with the service staff, they helped them change to a room facing the lake. The service quality was very good!

This hotel is a gem that's in the middle of nowhere! It is a bit dated in its furnishing, but it is clean. The room is very basic, not even having an electric kettle. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and that this hotel is situated facing a Fjord is excellent! The view and the location was wonderful. Except for a nearby pub playing music very loudly till 11pm, it is a very nice and quiet place to relax.
