4-Star Hotels in Shaanxi, China

I wish I had stayed in Xi'An for a few more days and made use of this excellent hotel. Prime location straight across from the famous Bell Tower. Across the road from the famous eateries including the Muslim Food Street. Also literally 20 metres from the Metro exit. The rooms were clean and modern and quiet. There was free bottled water on every floor by the elevator that you could just grab and go. Free afternoon tea buffet from 2-4:30. The staff were also very nice, especially the door lady, she was lovely. I cannot recommend this place enough and will certainly be staying here again when I visit.

Hotel is literally next to the entrance of the subway/train station and bell tower. If u need a night snack, there are many stalls and restaurants around the hotel, like the chang an da pai dang. Do note that this is a busy location, so you can hear just abit of traffic noise if you are sensitive to it.. for us, no issue and slept soundly. Special thanks for the staff, they are so helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious, and all amenities were working. Highly recommended. Thanks to all the staff!!

The reception desk was super welcoming. There were two girls on the desk, and I stood at the desk for at least like 10 seconds before they before I was standing there even though I said ”Ni Hao”. They look so miserable and couldn't even smile. The hotel must treat them so terribly. The room wall was full black scratch marks every where. The hotel looks only 50% like the photo. The cleaner did the bare minimum, my sink was dirty and didn't even clean it. Don't believe about the gym or amenities. The only thing I like about the hotel is the location and the neighborhood. It feel very authentic and cozy neighborhood with lively students and nice fast local eateries. There is a cozy Cafe near by.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Gaohao Courtyard, Qingzhen Huajue Temple, and the Muslim Quarter, all within walking distance. We had a minor issue, but the front desk handled it promptly. I always book hotels and flights through Ctrip because it's reliable. Overall, I was very satisfied with my trip to Xi'an.

Xi'an Yunhe Yepo Hotel was an amazing experience! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to Yongning Gate and the Bell/Drum Tower, making it super convenient to explore the ancient city. The new Chinese Tang-style design is elegant, the rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is great, ensuring a good night's sleep. The service is attentive and thoughtful, with robot delivery for items and free laundry. Breakfast offers a rich variety, including local Xi'an specialties like Roujiamo. Excellent value for money, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an!

The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and proactively helped us with our luggage. Check-in was very fast, and we even received a thoughtful welcome gift. The room was spacious, so it didn't feel cramped at all. The cleaning staff were also very meticulous, even wiping down our suitcases for us. Areas for improvement: The shower wasn't separated from the rest of the bathroom, so after showering, the toilet area would get completely wet, which meant our shoes got wet when using the toilet – quite inconvenient. Also, we stayed for two nights but only received a complimentary breakfast for one day, leaving us to sort out breakfast on the other day. It would be great if this policy could be consistent in the future. Overall, it was still a good stay. The location is very close to Yongningmen subway station, making transportation convenient. It would be even more perfect if they could improve the bathroom's wet/dry separation and the breakfast policy.

Extremely convenient for catching a flight, and incredible value for money. The room was spacious and clean, the mattress and pillows were super comfortable, and the breakfast was also quite good, though the food pickup and seating areas were a bit far apart. A big thank you to the lovely lady who gave us a free room upgrade! And the coffee was delicious.

Had a fantastic stay here! I was traveling solo and booked a more affordable windowless double room. However, the ventilation system was always on, so it never felt stuffy at all. For a traveler who's out exploring all day and just needs to crash at night, it was incredibly good value for money. The room itself was very spacious, about 20-30 square meters. Every area was clean and tidy, and the hairdryer and water heater worked perfectly. What's more, I noticed the hotel provides two types of pillows – a soft cotton one and another slightly firmer one with something like buckwheat inside. You can really tell the hotel puts thought into their guests' comfort. Also, the front desk staff were incredibly responsible and attentive. They made sure to note down every guest request. When I went out, I told them my luggage was on the sofa and asked them not to move it when cleaning the room. They actually wrote it down in their notebook – truly an excellent hotel. The location is also great. It's just a few hundred meters from the subway station, and Zhang Xueliang's Residence is a mere five-minute walk away. So, I was basically neighbors with the Young Marshal for a couple of days, haha!

Excellent hotel. Very clean, super friendly staff, and great central location. Breakfast is very good and laundry service is a big plus. The team is wonderful and will help you with everything, even using a translator for international travelers. 100% recommended.

The room facilities, cleanliness, and service were on par with other Mercure hotels I've stayed at. The hotel is conveniently located near the Bell Tower and very close to the Muslim Quarter. However, on my first morning, a large tour group descended on the breakfast area, making it impossible to find an empty seat for a long time. The two elevators were also completely packed, and it took me over ten minutes just to get downstairs. On my second night, around 3 AM, guests in a nearby room were loudly talking and singing, making it impossible to sleep. While these unpleasant incidents might not be directly the hotel's fault, they definitely diminished my overall experience.
