Storing regular, smaller items costs about 500–800 yen per day, while larger items run between 800–1,200 yen. Just a heads-up: overnight storage isn't available, so be sure to pick up your bags at least 30 minutes before they close!

Tokyo Station Staffed Luggage Storage #2 GRANSTA

If you need overnight storage, we highly recommend GRANSTA Luggage Storage, located in the GRANSTA shopping area. It’s open daily from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, and you can store your luggage for up to 15 days!

2. Make a note of your locker number, then head over to the nearby smart screen to enter it. You can pay by tapping your IC card (some machines also accept cash; once you've paid, a receipt with your password will be printed—be sure to keep it safe!).
3. To pick up your luggage, just tap the same IC card again. If you have a password receipt, simply enter the password on the smart screen.

Luggage Storage at Tokyo Station #1: at Tokyo Metro Station

You’ll find several coin-operated lockers at Tokyo Station’s Marunouchi Line Central and North Exits. Most of the lockers here are on the smaller side, with only a limited number of medium and large options available.

Tokyo Station Luggage Storage #2 at JR Tokyo Station

You'll find nearly 2,000 lockers just outside the JR Tokyo Station ticket gates. If you're traveling with large luggage, head over to the Yaesu Underground Central Gate, where there are about 80 extra-large lockers available.

Inside the JR Tokyo Station ticket gates, there are also close to 3,000 locker spaces; the Sobu Line transfer passage alone features nearly 1,800 of them. Just a heads-up: most lockers here are key-operated and coin-only, so be sure to have some change ready!

Shibuya Tokyu Station also has luggage lockers available. You’ll find a larger concentration near the A2 exit on the B2 level, while others are scattered around the ticket gates and exits on levels B1 through B3. Just a heads-up: there are no lockers for extra-large luggage here, either.

If you need extra-large luggage storage, head over to the area near Platform 17 inside the Central Ticket Gate, where you'll find nearly 40 extra-large lockers available.

If you need to store chilled items, just take the connecting passage from Tokyo Station to the Daimaru Tokyo Department Store. You’ll find refrigerated lockers near the fresh food section on the B1 floor.
