"SEE PICTURES BELOW TO FIND THE HOTEL! When I arrived it was dark and heavy rain. I had very big problems finding the hotel since I followed another guests review where they uploaded a picture of the wrong building. I contacted Trip.com support and I hope they removed it by now. This is not the hotels fault! The hotel was clean and orderly. The location is great and the receptionist was super kind! There is also a washing machine. Next time I come to Changsha I will definetly stay here again. Very good value for money."

The Luxi Hotel (Changsha Wuyi Square Taiping Old Street) provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Changsha will find that the Luxi Hotel (Changsha Wuyi Square Taiping Old Street) is a fantastic accommodation choice. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 5km from Kaifusi Railway Station and 27km from Changsha Huanghua International Airport. In addition, Xiangjiang Middle Road Metro Station is just a short walk away. With multiple attractions nearby including Orange Isle Scenic Area, Snack Kingdom and Du Fu Pavilion, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"The hotel's location is quite easy to find; you can spot the sign right from the entrance of Taiping Street. However, the actual hotel entrance is down a very dim alley, and water keeps dripping from the building next door, making it hard to avoid when walking by. Once inside, it feels like the hotel has been around for a while, and the elevator is a bit old. Getting a good room seems to be a matter of luck. My room had absolutely no window view, and with obstructions outside, the natural light wasn't great either. The humidity in the room was pretty extreme; the floor would stay wet for ages after housekeeping, and pants I'd dampened the day before wouldn't dry even after half a day in the air-conditioned room, extending into the next afternoon. There are no USB charging ports in the room, so if you have multiple devices, you'll need to bring enough adapters. Also, the bedside outlets aren't sufficient, and the placement of the sofa, desk, and outlets is awkward, making it inconvenient to use a laptop unless you're working curled up by the bed. So, for those who need to work, I wouldn't really recommend it. There's no single switch to control all the lights in the room, so you have to turn them off one by one. The bedside switches also lack any labels, so you have to try them all to figure out what they do. The lighting in the room itself didn't feel bright enough, and the light sources were uneven, making it insufficient for applying makeup. Unlike other electrical appliances, the air conditioning doesn't turn on automatically when you insert your room card; you have to manually switch it on every time you enter the room. Even though the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, the sliding door is single-paneled, meaning only one side can be closed. If you slide it all the way to one side, there's no door on the other. Also, the sink is quite shallow, so water splashes everywhere if the water pressure is high or you're washing something. There were also quite a few white stains in the nooks and crannies of the bathroom, possibly from years of use, which didn't look very hygienic. Both the wooden and concrete walls in the room were pitted and stained, and the sofa cover also had dirt on it. These things don't affect the functionality of the stay but are psychologically off-putting. However, the guest experience is often heavily influenced by these tiny details. A small suggestion: if they renovate in the future, I'd recommend using lighter shades like grey for the floor tiles and walls, and darker colors for fabric items like sofa covers, as they hide dirt better and look more refined. The black tiles at the entrance and in the bathroom really show every speck of dirt... Compared to other hotels, it might not be truly dirty, but visually, it's a big disadvantage. I had high expectations because I really liked the decor style shown in the online photos, but my stay was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the complimentary amenity kit included cotton pads (which I didn't get at Atour where I stayed a few days prior, and most hotels don't provide them). Also, the service was attentive and responsive, and the staff even helped with washing and drying clothes (which deserves a big shout-out; they even folded them neatly after they were dry, sniff). But! I booked for three days in total, and after staying one night, I discovered the price for the same room type on the platform for the same period dropped by over 50 yuan per night! Infuriating!!!"

"What an absolute gem of a hotel! 🏨 I was initially drawn in by the photos of the hotel's ambiance, and it's even more beautiful in person! It's got that old-money charm, and it's super photogenic. It actually used to be a bank! The rooms inside are also well-designed with separate wet and dry areas. The decor is incredibly stylish! They even deliver your freshly laundered clothes right to your room – a really nice touch! Anyone with good taste would choose this tasteful hotel. Location: It's right at the entrance to the Taiping Street scenic area. Just look for the three characters 'Taiping Li' and head down that small alleyway! The automatic door at the entrance has a really grand feel to it, too~"

I was drawn to this B&B's design, its quiet yet central location, and the amenities it offered, so I booked it with a 'let's see' attitude. My stay far exceeded my expectations and gave me many pleasant surprises! 👍 The service here is incredibly comfortable. Since the B&B is located in an alley with stone paths that make carrying luggage difficult, their butler proactively contacts you via WeChat beforehand to arrange a shuttle service. What surprised me most was their daily three meals – different every day and delivered to your room. The dishes are exquisite and taste great! I was also happy with the complimentary travel photoshoot. I've already recommended it to friends and it will be my first choice next time I visit!

The hotel has a unique charm and a strong sense of history. The service is exceptional, and the room facilities are brand new. They pay attention to all the details, like providing disposable toilet seat covers and bathtub liners for a relaxing soak. They even offer slippers and toiletries for children. There's a complimentary late-night congee and afternoon tea every day, and the breakfast sets are incredibly varied and delicious!

The room was exceptionally clean, with soft and dry bedding. The bathroom came equipped with disposable towels and toiletries, and the smart toilet was very convenient to use. The guesthouse itself was quiet and peaceful, with excellent natural light and ventilation. It was fully furnished with all the necessary appliances, making daily life very easy. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, providing clear check-in instructions and prompt replies to any questions. The location is excellent, close to dining and shopping, with complete amenities nearby. The value for money far exceeded my expectations; it felt as comfortable as home. This will be my first choice for accommodation whenever I'm in the area again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone traveling.

The room was spacious and clean, located right at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, offering unbeatable views. Huge thanks to Sera for the thoughtful arrangements, I was super satisfied! The surrounding area is part of the vast Beichen development, with plenty of shops and restaurants, giving it a lively, local vibe. The hotel's location is ideal, just a 1-2 minute walk from Changsha Museum, the Concert Hall, and the Library, and a 5-minute walk to the Three Halls and One Theater pier. Excellent location. The river view room offered first-class scenery, and breakfast was incredibly rich. Plus, there's a strong 'old money' feel to the place, making it perfect for travel photography. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Changsha.

While Ctrip's perfect score is 5, honestly, my stay at Changsha W this time was far beyond a 5. I truly had a fantastic time, with not a single uncomfortable moment from start to finish. The day before check-in, the hotel proactively called me, asking precisely what time I'd arrive and if I had any additional requests they could help with. They readily agreed to everything they could accommodate. This pre-arrival communication was a huge plus, making me feel valued. Upon arrival, the concierge at the entrance was incredibly enthusiastic, guiding me and helping with my luggage very thoughtfully. At the front desk, as I was checking in alone, I needed to provide a handwritten authorization letter from my parents. This meant a slight delay in preparing the documents. I was initially just waiting somewhat bored, but the front desk attendant was excellent at conversation. She proactively chatted with me throughout, speaking in a warm and friendly tone, completely preventing the wait from becoming awkward or tedious. Her efficiency was also top-notch, without any delays or perfunctory service. It wasn't just the front desk and concierge; later, I also encountered the housekeeping aunties, who were incredibly friendly. They would greet me proactively when passing by. The staff's overall service awareness was excellent; they treated everyone with genuine sincerity, without any cold or dismissive attitudes. The first impression upon entering the room was how exceptionally clean it was. Every corner was meticulously tidied. The floors, bathroom, and soft furnishings were all spotless. There were no strange odors like stuffiness or smoke in the room. The ventilation and hygiene were absolutely impeccable, making for a reassuring and comfortable stay. The entire check-in process was a fantastic experience. From the pre-arrival communication and on-site reception to the room environment and staff attitudes, everything was flawless. I was extremely satisfied with my stay during this trip to Changsha. Next time I visit Changsha, I will definitely prioritize choosing this W hotel again! Also, I'd like to mention that Mia, Teddy, and Miss Liu were very enthusiastic towards me throughout my stay, especially Mia. I look forward to seeing you all again.

This was my first time staying at the Huanzhi Hotel in Changsha, and the front desk service was absolutely excellent. They even gave me a free breakfast coupon. The breakfast spread was extensive and really delicious, and the auntie working in the breakfast area was incredibly kind and helpful. My room was very clean, and the hotel's location is super convenient – close to Wuyi Square and other attractions. It's also just a few minutes' walk to the metro station, making it easy to get anywhere. I highly recommend staying here! I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Changsha. It offers fantastic value for money with attentive and thoughtful service, and its convenient location makes it a top choice. I strongly recommend it!

This homestay has a puppy named Yunduo and a very tame little cockroach (temporarily called Xiaohei), they are very clingy, and they sleep in the sun on the bench with them. This is a homestay that can heal people. I don't want to praise their home's decoration style and service quality. It is more that I can really feel the warmth and comfort brought by being away from the noise of the city. I like this store very much, this is a store that will make me nostalgic.

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and check-in was efficient. The hotel's location is also very convenient, right next to a commercial area with plenty of options for dining and shopping. On a whim, I came to Changsha and chose the top-ranked hotel on Trip.com. The service was absolutely fantastic, I really don't understand how anyone could write a negative review. The staff were so warm and attentive. The breakfast and supper options were incredibly fresh, you can tell they put a lot of thought into it. We stayed for two nights and got to enjoy different dishes each day, which was a real treat. With two kids, we spent almost all our time at the hotel. Changsha was just too hot, so we could only go out in the evenings. Coming back to the hotel for supper after exploring was great, and it was really good value for money – they even prepared three servings for both breakfast and supper for us! Suggestion: The owner should consider getting a shuttle bus. There's a bit of a distance between the metro station and the hotel, which would also make it easier for the concierge to help with luggage.
