"This time, I brought my father to explore Changbai Mountain. Last time we visited the North Slope, we didn't get to see Tianchi Lake, which was a huge disappointment. My father had been to Tianchi Lake three times alone and never saw it, so this was his fourth attempt, and we finally saw it! We stayed at the Homeinns Plus, and it was absolutely worth every penny. First of all, the hotel was newly renovated this year, so the hygiene and facilities were impeccable. The breakfast was also very rich and plentiful. What touched me the most was the front desk staff – their service was incredibly warm and thoughtful. They gave us all sorts of recommendations for delicious food and scenic spots, and even advised us on places to avoid, which was incredibly considerate. It truly felt like a home away from home, and the whole experience was fantastic. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to my friends if they come to visit the West Slope of Changbai Mountain; Homeinns Plus should be their top choice."

"This is a great hotel, just a few minutes' walk from the West Slope tourist distribution center. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and answered all our questions. The room had a traditional Chinese decor, was perfectly adequate, spacious, and bright. We even got an upgrade to a room with a small balcony, which was very comfortable. It's also conveniently located right next to a food street and a large supermarket."

This hotel is in an excellent location, just a few hundred meters from the Wanda Resort, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, and beautiful scenery. The owner is incredibly welcoming, always smiling with a warm, honest expression. Their travel itinerary suggestions are exceptionally professional; they planned our three-day trip perfectly, ensuring we saw everything without feeling rushed or tired. It truly felt like coming home, and it significantly improved my impression of Northeast China. Definitely a full-mark recommendation!

Traveling with family, we weren't familiar with this hotel, but after checking in, we were pleasantly surprised by the Swiss-inspired views. We were very happy with both the room and the overall environment. The breakfast was quite extensive for the West Slope area, and the facilities were well-maintained. The two young men who checked us in on the 5th were very enthusiastic and helpful, giving us lots of information about our stay and local attractions. Overall, we were very satisfied.

My flight landed in Changbai Mountain at 11:15 PM, and I had tickets for the West Slope at 7:30 AM the next day. After much deliberation, I chose the Blue River Hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. It saved me both travel time and distance, and I had a comfortable and safe stay. The hotel's location is truly unbeatable, right at the old West Slope entrance. This saved me the trip from Wanda or the town to the main entrance, and then to the old entrance. From the old entrance, you just take a shuttle bus into the West Slope scenic area, and it drops you right at the base of Tianchi Lake. The hotel lobby is incredibly spacious, parking is convenient, the rooms are well-equipped, and they even provide complimentary welcome fruit. Breakfast starts promptly at 7 AM, with a good variety of options. The taste was decent, and I even snuck out two steamed buns to eat on the mountain 😂. I highly recommend the peach juice; the peaches 🍑 from Changbai Mountain are incredibly appealing. The front desk staff were so polite I almost felt embarrassed 😅. When I checked in, they recognized my name from a distance. The next day, as I left, they reminded me to take my umbrella. And when I returned in the afternoon to collect my luggage after exploring, they gave me more fruit and water, and kept asking if there was anything they could have done better. In summary, while the facilities might be a bit older, their shortcomings don't overshadow the positives. I highly recommend this hotel 🏨 to anyone following a similar itinerary as mine.

How can you visit Northeast China without experiencing a traditional 'kang' (heated bed)? This resort is tucked away deep inside the scenic area, offering peace and quiet, and plenty of fresh air. This trip, we, three adults and two children, stayed in two family deluxe rooms, and it was the most comfortable three days of our Jilin trip. The rooms were spacious, and the three-meter-wide kang easily accommodated three people. The restaurant also offered great food at reasonable prices, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. We couldn't even use all the perks the resort offered; the kids absolutely loved the hot springs and didn't want to leave even after two days of soaking. Next time, I'd love to try visiting in winter.

After the Mid-Autumn Festival here, the moon cakes were very sweet, and I saw the fireworks, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. I brought my parents to live for 3 days and the whole family was very satisfied! In the homestay, quiet in the middle of noisy, there is a small yard at the door, and a small vegetable garden planted by the boss himself. It is very warm and clean. My parents can drink tea and sunbathe there every morning. The boss was very patient and helped us plan a slow tour route that was not in a hurry. The location was simply excellent and it was very close to our attractions. The room is quiet, the layout is warm and distinctive, the furniture in the comfortable room is not sharp corners, the hot water is stable for 24 hours, and the water temperature is also suitable for elders. The hygiene is done carefully, and there is no dust in the depths of the wardrobe. My parents said that it is more comfortable than living at home! No matter the facilities, sanitation, environment, and service are impeccable in all aspects, it is simply the best choice for travel!

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for visiting the South Slope the next day. The room was clean and tidy, and we could easily access the hot springs downstairs. The hot spring water was clear and sparkling, very comfortable. Dining at the restaurant downstairs was also very convenient. The staff were friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We were given a honeymoon suite. Very big and nicely decorated. However, the water in the shower cubicle did not drain well. Also, some leaking from the basin. We arrange an early morning taxi journey to Changbaishan north slope and the hotel owner requested the cook to cook something for us early in the morning before the official breakfast time. The happiest stop on our 10-day family trip! (^.^) Service: What I want to praise the most 👍 A special thanks to Song Yuchen for letting us extend our stay at the hotel for an extra day, saving us the hassle of switching hotels with the kids. Communication was incredibly smooth, and her problem-solving skills are top-notch! 👍 She also thoughtfully adjusted our package and arranged hotel activities, allowing us to fully experience the joy of a family-friendly hotel. My sincere thanks! Environment: Located at the foot of Changbai Mountain, the environment speaks for itself. However, the location is a bit remote, and there are no other amenities nearby. Facilities: The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and there are even three deer, which captivated the children. I suggest adding washing machines, as they are essential for longer trips. Hygiene: There were some cobwebs in the corners of the door. Considering it's a mountain house, it's understandable – a minor issue that was completely overshadowed by the excellent service. 😊

This guesthouse has such a great vibe! The front desk area itself was already lovely, very Western European in style, and the rooms also had a fantastic atmosphere. The concierge messaged me on WeChat beforehand and gave me tons of tips and recommendations. It's only about a 15-minute walk from the guesthouse to the visitor center, which is super convenient. They also offer activities like handicrafts, sutra copying,溪溯, and ginseng digging – so many experiences to enjoy! 🤩 Another pleasant surprise was getting a room upgrade, which also included breakfast. I absolutely love the front desk lady! 😍

This was my first time visiting Changbai Mountain, and we chose to stay in these cabins for our first night. The weather has been warm these past few days, and it's a bit remote here, so the snow is pristine. It was my child's first time seeing so much snow, and they could play right outside the cabin door while the adults relaxed inside. If you like peace and quiet and getting away from it all, you might enjoy this. There are also some small attractions nearby to explore, and the little dogs and cats add a charming, rustic touch. Afterwards, we went skiing at the Luneng Resort Hotel, but the snow play there wasn't as clean as it was here. Of course, the accommodation isn't as luxurious as a resort hotel, so if you're particularly picky, this might not be for you. It really depends on what you prioritize; this place is all about the ambiance. For dining, there's only one iron pot stew restaurant right outside, which is decent. If you're staying for multiple nights, you won't have much variety for food. Overall, I'd say it's a good idea to combine a stay here with a resort hotel to experience different vibes. My child really loved it.
