"It was rare to find a suitable apartment. The service was excellent. I only mentioned that I wanted a room on a higher floor, and the front desk immediately upgraded me to a different room. The view was amazing, the room facilities were very new, and you couldn't tell that the place had been open for several years. It was also very clean. The living room was large and even had a sound system, which was great. There was a shopping mall downstairs, so the location was excellent and convenient for getting around."

GGim LeeEnvironment: Quiet and pleasant, far from the city's hustle and bustle, perfect for families or couples looking to relax and unwind. Cleanliness: The accommodation and guest rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy. Facilities: The rooms are fully equipped with high-standard amenities, and the building has an elevator, making it suitable for wheelchair users or elderly guests with mobility issues. Service: Both the front desk staff and the dining service personnel are incredibly friendly. They even adjusted the meals to accommodate guests' dietary restrictions. I traveled with my mother, who has mobility issues and occasionally needs a wheelchair. This guesthouse came highly recommended and praised by her. The host and the receptionist are very kind and helpful. If you want to have a vacation out of town with families, this is the place that will fulfill your demands. For foreigners, you may use the app 'Gaode Dache' and choose 'Shunfengche' (carpool); the traveling fee will be cheaper than 'Dache' (taking a taxi) and more convenient.

GGuest UserBeautiful inn in a lovely tranquil location. We had a wonderful stay. The inn itself is absolutely gorgeous and we had a great time just sitting in the lobby area. Service is great; they helped us with our luggage up the second floor (only stairs here). The area is nice and quiet, but convenient - we walked 15 mins to Li Yuan and it was easy to book a DiDi car anywhere. There is a free shuttle bus between Li Yuan, the other Diao Lou villages and Chikan Ancient Town which was very convenient. Breakfast was lovely and so nicely presented, and the nice lady kept telling us we could ask for more.

GGuest UserI had a very comfortable stay at Mandarin Elegant Hotel. The hotel has all the amenities a traveller would need. It is also near to the newest mall in the city and next to a river with beautiful walking paths. The staff were attentive and personable. Special call out to 熊管家 and 赵经理 who answered all my questions and attended to my requests. The service by all hotel staff is impeccable. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Tai Shan city.

GGuest UserTraveling with kids this time, staying at the hotel right inside the scenic area was super convenient. We even got to visit again the next day, and it wasn't crowded for photos in the morning. The room was huge, with a separate wet and dry area, and the soundproofing was excellent. There's a kids' playground downstairs that kept them so entertained they didn't want to come back to the room. The hotel is close to the North Gate, so it's less than a 5-minute drive to the park entrance, and parking is free. In the evenings, you can order takeout to the hotel, and they offer a complimentary buffet breakfast in the morning.

CCzxiangTaishan isn't a very large city, and the hotel is conveniently located in the southern part of the downtown area, making it easy to get in and out by car. There's plenty of parking available. The hotel is situated within a Country Garden development, and the exterior still bears traces of the Country Garden Phoenix logo. I assume it was originally an amenity of the Country Garden complex, later outsourced or leased to the current owners. At first glance, the hotel facilities don't seem old, but after using them, I felt the maintenance wasn't quite up to par. For example, the electric curtains in the room couldn't be controlled, and the water pressure in the bathroom and toilet was relatively low. During my stay, there was also a noticeable odor emanating from the first-floor lobby restroom, indicating it needed repairs. Housekeeping also forgot to replenish toiletries and left a cleaning towel in the room – quite a few minor issues overall. Of course, the price during the off-season was very reasonable, about half of the original cost, offering good value for money.

Service: The staff here are the best I've ever encountered at any scenic spot, no exaggeration! Super warm and polite, it felt like visiting someone's home and being lavishly entertained by the hosts! Chikan Ancient Town Scenic Area Adult Ticket: I highly recommend staying at least one night; accommodation also includes entrance tickets, which is an amazing deal! Excellent value for money!!!! The performances are great, and the NPC actors in Chinatown are absolutely awesome! Super dedicated!!! Everyone should go and have fun!

GGuest UserI chose this hotel due to its proximity to both my home and my grandparents' house. However, an event called the ”All-China National Games”, specifically a volleyball tournament held in Taishan - meant that most of the players were also staying here. I understand that this arrangement was likely due to government decision-making. Nonetheless, this situation caused significant inconvenience to regular guests. For instance, delivery services (robots) were prohibited, and access to the self-service laundry was restricted. When I asked for assistance, a staff member stated, ”We don't do laundry for customers.” Only after I explained my inconvenience was caused by the national games did the manager offer to make an exception, saying, ”We will do laundry for you since you are a special case these days.” This reasoning is highly unsatisfactory. The reason I couldn't do my laundry was that I was denied access to the sixth floor, where the laundry room is located. If the hotel cannot adequately accommodate regular customers during such events, they should not accept bookings from the public.

Tangkou was quiet and characterful (Considered staying in Chikan town. Happy we chose Tangkou instead as Chikan is an overdeveloped theme park). Driving from the hotel to the diaolou clusters was quick and convenient.

We had 5 cars parked at the door of the villa without any problems. It was convenient to pack up. The children loved the swimming pool and slide the most. They had a lot of fun.
