This is a newly opened hostel near Taitung Walking Street. It's very secure; you use a card to enter, and there are lockers with codes to store valuables. You don't need to put on your own duvet covers, and there's a small table on the bed, which is super convenient. Both the rooms and the washrooms/showers are exceptionally clean.
The lobby features a trendy clothing store and live folk music performances. You can also have drinks and chat there. There's even a smart 3D latte art coffee machine where you can upload your favorite image and get a coffee with that design.
The owner is great, and the staff at the front desk are all very nice. The overall vibe is very youthful, yet it's also suitable for older guests. In the evenings, there are live folk music performances where you can go on stage to sing, have a beer together, or just chat over some juice.
I think it would be amazing if all hostels could solve the problem of being disturbed by snoring roommates. This isn't a criticism of this particular hostel, I mean all hostels, because I really enjoy staying in hostels for the safety and the chance to meet new people, but sometimes you just get unlucky with a snoring roommate, and it can be quite a struggle.

Guest UserThe best B&B experience ever. The room is clean and tidy, with washing machines and dryers. The three-story courtyard is very beautiful with all kinds of flowers and plants. The facilities and decorations in the courtyard are very attentive and delicate. It is visually beautiful. Sitting in the courtyard facing the sea during the day, the tea leaves planted on both sides are stacked up. The B&B is backed by Laoshan, which can better set off the tranquility of the courtyard. The soft lights of the three-story courtyard at night are sprinkled in every corner, creating a few warmth and romance. The bar and cafe of the B&B are decorated very tastefully. The boss and his wife are warm and hospitable, and they carefully prepare a variety of seafood and farm meals according to the requirements of each guest. It was such a perfect experience that I have recommended it to family and friends.

Guest UserThe soundproofing in the room was excellent, and the breakfast had a great variety. My only minor complaint is that my room had a bit of a design flaw â a protruding section in the middle took up quite a bit of space. Overall, it met the standard of a Huazhu hotel.

We took our kids to Qingdao and booked a 4-day, 3-night stay. We got a free upgrade to a sea-view room, and they even gave the little one a sand-digging toy, plus complimentary fruit and drinks. Every staff member provided excellent service; it was a fantastic experience. The hotel has direct access to the beach from the basement, which is super convenient. The beach right below the hotel was uncrowded and peaceful (whereas the area closer to the Shilaoren entrance was packed with people). There are also several large shopping malls near the hotel, making dining very easy. We could order takeout from Hema, 7-Eleven, and Decathlon, which was great because we didn't bring all our gear, haha.
The hotel didn't have many parent-child activities; we mostly just dug in the sand and swam during our stay. It would be even better if there were more family-friendly activities.

I specifically want to leave a glowing review for all the front office staff at MGM Qingdao. Elly from Guest Relations is incredibly responsible; she coordinated and resolved my requests within minutes of me messaging her during my stay. The front desk service was meticulous and thoughtful, proactively confirming my preferences and ensuring zero wait time for check-in. The concierge team provided incredibly detailed service, handling my luggage securely and proactively opening doors and greeting me upon my return. Their recommendations for local seafood restaurants were spot on and reliable. The Executive Lounge offers an unparalleled view, with a rich selection of afternoon tea and happy hour meals, and the staff were prompt in clearing tables. All the in-room appliances and bathroom amenities were immaculate and well-maintained. The infinity high-altitude pool offers direct sea views, and the gym boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with a full range of cardio and strength equipment. From the front desk to the lounge, the service maintained a consistently high standard, with Elly coordinating and following up throughout. The experience was simply flawless.

I stayed for four nights in total, and from check-in, through multiple inquiries, last-minute requests, and finally check-out, I interacted with Kimi at the front desk numerous times. Her service quality was consistently excellent throughout. She wasn't just friendly at the start and then less so later on. Whether it was for minor inquiries or coordinating things like room preferences, executive privileges, or breakfast benefits, Kimi always provided clear and accurate answers, with no conflicting information. Her professionalism was steady, her patience unwavering, and her demeanor genuinely reserved. The entire experience was smooth and seamless, which is a truly exceptional level of front desk service. I will definitely recommend The Westin Qingdao to my friends and family, specifically highlighting Kimi's outstanding service at the front desk. My sincere thanks again.

The room was great! I really liked the separate layout of the bathroom and the bed. The windows were also well-designed, providing good ventilation and making the room feel comfortable and clean. The staff service was excellent too. The young ladies were pretty, gentle, and generous â it was a pleasure to see them (and I'm a woman, haha!). The young men spoke softly, which was as calming as the sea here. All in all, I support dog-friendly hotels!

Bearing the Crowne Plaza name, it once must have been glorious. My first stay here was a huge disappointment. The beach near the hotel is truly mediocre. The outdoor family pool is out of service, the Ferris wheel isn't operating, and the surrounding environment is completely different from what I saw in the online videos â a classic case of expectation vs. reality. Breakfast is served one floor below the lobby, and there's no direct elevator access, which is inconvenient for older guests. I had to ask a staff member who led us through a long, disused section of the restaurant, opened a door, took us to an elevator in Zone A to the second-floor lobby, and then we had to walk back to Zone B to catch another elevator. The breakfast selection was extensive, but the taste wasn't up to 4-star standards. The staff were all very nice, but the management is nowhere near 5-star hotel quality. I understand that with lower prices, there are more guests, and they need to cut costs. I definitely won't be returning for a second visit.

Guest UserStepping into the room, the sea view immediately greets you, and at sunrise, the entire ocean glistens like scattered gold â it's breathtakingly beautiful. The room itself is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with thoughtful details, and the service is attentive. The most amazing feature is the third-floor terrace; watching the sunset with the sea breeze in the evening and falling asleep to the sound of waves at night is truly therapeutic. This was our closest-to-the-sea accommodation experience, and my whole family was very happy. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit!

We stayed at the Magic Hotel, which we chose because itâs a new building. The rooms are spacious, the service is good, and thereâs a wide selection for breakfast. However, the place is very crowded since it consists of three large buildings. It has three outdoor swimming pools and one indoor pool. The largest pool is divided into two, and one side is used for paid boat rentals â but no one really uses them, so they should probably stop offering that.
Because the complex is so big, you can enjoy everything without even needing to leave the premises. I even went alone to watch the newly released F1 movie in the hotel cinema. Thereâs also a food street, although some areas were empty. The beach is shared with outsiders, and pool as there are a lot of families with kids.
That said â you can truly relax here. In other places, especially hotels in the city center, itâs much harder to unwind due to the heavy traffic and constant honking. I do wish the air conditioning had a dehumidifying function â that would have made it even better. The minibar fridge had limited options and only provided water, which was a bit...
good luck guys and thank you for service.
we stayed 22nd floor car room. its very high and look as veryy good.
