GGuest UserStayed at this hotel for my trip to Qingdao. The front desk staff were warm, patient, and provided excellent service. The room was clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which was very convenient. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, so there's always something for everyone. There's parking available in front of the hotel, perfect for those traveling by car. Overall, it's a great hotel with good value for money, and I would recommend it to friends.

GGuest UserIn Trip.com I have chosen it for a long time, and I decided this one with the mentality of trying it out. The result was completely unstepped! The real scene is far more amazing than the picture, the environment is full of atmosphere, and the shots are all beautiful blockbusters. The rooms are clean and tidy, the facilities are complete and easy to use, the service is more intimate and thoughtful, and the experience in all aspects is superb. The breakfast tastes authentic and full of home-cooked fireworks, eating the taste of mother's cooking, the taste of the dinner in the store is also very colorful, and the coffee is delicious. In the evening, accompanied by a beautiful sea view, listening to the soothing music to have a few drinks, comfortable and healing, this trip is complete and comfortable, really recommend!

GGuest UserCame to Qingdao on the 13th and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Shandong Port. Andy, the handsome front desk staff, was warm and thoughtful. He met our booking needs and even gave the kids beach toys. When we got to the room, feeling parched, he promptly brought us welcome fruits. The housekeeping staff left a sweet little note, and the full pitcher of water made us feel so cozy. After a short rest, we went down to the beach, and the dinner we had when we came back was also very good. All in all, we'll definitely come back to the Hyatt Regency Shandong Port next time we're in Qingdao!

GGuest UserOverall, it was pretty good. First, the positives: The hotel's location is super convenient, making travel and sightseeing a breeze. Before check-in, a butler proactively contacted me to discuss my needs and even upgraded my room for free, which was a fantastic experience. However, some details during this stay were disappointing. Here's my honest feedback: 1. **Lack of Bellhop Service:** On the day of check-in, there were many guests, and no one offered to help with my luggage when I arrived. It was quite inconvenient hauling heavy bags in. Someone eventually helped me on the elevator, but it took about an hour to get them to my room… and only after several phone calls ☎️. 2. **Forgotten Anniversary Request:** I had communicated in advance that this was an anniversary trip and specifically requested some simple room decorations. This was completely overlooked. There were no decorations or small surprises, completely ruining the anniversary atmosphere. Quite a letdown. 3. **Inappropriate Bedding:** The room still had thick spring/autumn duvets. They were hot and stuffy in the summer, waking me up multiple times at night. It was very uncomfortable and significantly impacted my sleep. I suggest switching to lighter summer quilts. 4. **Disappointing Lion Plushie Experience:** The hotel's signature little lion plushie caused me a lot of grief. It took repeated attempts to even get one, and at first, they kept saying no, which was incredibly frustrating. Now, looking at other guests' reviews, most seem to get them easily, and guests with children even get more than one. I don't understand why the threshold is so high for guests without kids. DINKs (Dual Income, No Kids) are crying! I eventually got a Laoshan-themed lion, but I really wanted the regular sitting one. The hat falls off with just a touch, and now I have to sew it back on… I even went to the kids' play area to try and win a sitting lion from the claw machine for two consecutive days, trying about eight or nine times, but couldn't get one. It was so frustrating; the claw was too loose… Now, the more I read other people's reviews, the angrier I get. 😡 5. **Breakfast Quality:** The self-service part of the breakfast wasn't very good, but the à la carte options were decent. On the brighter side, the hotel room was good, and the swimming pool was also great. 👍

The front desk staff was incredibly warm and attentive; they even added an extra mattress on the floor for our child and gave us an extra breakfast. They also promptly contacted us when we left something behind at checkout. The hotel's quality is definitely worth the price.

I arrived during peak check-in time and expected a long wait, but Aris greeted me with a warm smile throughout and efficiently processed everything in just a few minutes. She proactively and thoroughly informed me about breakfast hours, pool and gym opening times, and even thoughtfully recommended a scenic seaside walking route downstairs. She patiently answered all my questions regarding parking and local attractions. Her communication was gentle and well-mannered, and her professionalism was outstanding. There wasn't a hint of perfunctory service; every detail reflected the high standard of Marriott's premium service. The hotel room offered expansive views and was spotlessly clean, and the Heavenly Bed was incredibly comfortable. However, what truly impressed me most was Aris's thoughtful and attentive service, which made me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable away from home. I will definitely choose The Westin again on my next visit to Qingdao, and I specifically wanted to leave this review to commend the excellent staff member, Aris. She is truly trustworthy and highly recommended!

It's super convenient to get to attractions like Badaguan and Zhanqiao Pier, you can even walk there, or take the subway for a quicker trip. The room was relatively clean, and housekeeping was prompt. I have to complain about the so-called 'parking lot' though – it's really tiny, more like the hotel's own entrance. Although you can park there, if you get blocked in, it's easy to waste time waiting for someone to move their car 😓😓. For breakfast, we had the buffet for a few days, it was just okay, nothing special, but fair for the price. Since it wasn't peak season, the price was a great deal! 👍👍
