Llittle crabHave had a great time on 20-21/12. The staff is very nice, willing to talk with you and with smile. Especially the girl in carpark ran to me and help my luggage when I arrived. Nanami san is also a very nice girl! Merry Christmas and happy new year 2026❤️

XXiemimiThe hotel view is absolutely fantastic, offering a great cityscape of Osaka. From the better room types, you get a direct view of a large area of Umeda, including the train station. The decor is European style, though it feels a bit 'knock-off' – like a fake European imitation. The details don't hold up under close inspection, and the cleanliness is noticeably not as good as in Tokyo. They're very generous with amenities, providing a lot. Breakfast is à la carte, suitable for those who enjoy Western breakfast; I found it pretty good, and the bread was quite tasty. There was a musty smell in the room, so overall, it didn't feel very high-end. The bedding was also quite ordinary. Its strengths are definitely the view and the value for money.

Amazing
KKobemuWe spontaneously decided to visit Osaka with my parents, and this hotel, booked at the last minute, had a decent price. It's conveniently located near a subway station and within walking distance of Shinsaibashi, a bustling area of Osaka. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. The size wasn't small either; it didn't feel cramped with three of us staying there. For breakfast, I recommend going early as there's a queue if you go later. The variety was rich, and everything tasted good. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time.

XXiaxiaoruobaobeiDuring the cherry blossom season, it was very busy. The Western breakfast had a long queue, but the Japanese breakfast had virtually no wait. It's a shame there was no curry (though the Western restaurant had it) – a strange setup! Honestly, everything else was great. It's right next to Shinsaibashi, separated by just one street, so shopping was super convenient. The airport shuttle bus made getting to and from the airport really easy. A special thanks to the baggage staff, especially a girl from Northeast China (I forgot to ask her name), who helped us carry our luggage up and down floors and get a taxi after we checked out. That service was truly exceptional.

MMaTheBreIn general, the hotel is absolutely ok. The price is affordable and the interior is new and wealthy. The location is recommendable with close public transport, a supermarket, convenience stores, and a coin laundry. The hotel has a shared room on the second floor with free coffee, tea, and water. Every day they have free beer happy hour from 6 to 7 including a DJ performance. I would not recommend it to families with children or to people who prefer a “standard” hotel. Usually, hotels in Japan are super child-friendly, but there are no products for children (toothbrushes, pyjamas, slippers, etc.). The breakfast is in our opinion not worth it. It is good in terms of taste, but they do not have a buffet. There are some different sandwiches you can choose 3 (this is limited and when I asked why the answer was: “If they do not limit I could eat 10”. They have no variation in the sandwiches so when you have breakfast there for a week you've eaten all at least once or twice. Here as well nothing for kids so I paid full price breakfast for my son and the only thing he got was some juice. For us, another no-go was the super loud music in the public area (there is the breakfast room). You can enjoy your morning coffee with electronic dance music. The hotel has no laundry, but they offer a service. You can bring your clothes no matter how many and get them back for 5000¥ cleaned and dry. The coin washer 2minutes away is 900¥ for 8kg in 1h. For younger people or for 1-2 nights absolutely ok. Breakfast better go out to one of the 1000 coffees and enjoy a wider choice.

33001152460I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but I decided to book it anyway because of the location, and I'm so glad I did! The rooms are big and clean, and housekeeping is very quick and efficient. The location is fantastic, right opposite Daimaru. Once you get your bearings, you can get to Hankyu via the underground passage really quickly without having to go above ground at all, which is also great for places like LUCUA and GRAND FRONT. A taxi to the Glico Man sign in Shinsaibashi and the Kani Doraku main branch only cost 2400 JPY. The only minor issue was that I booked two rooms and specifically requested no corner rooms, but we ended up with one at each end of the hallway. Luckily, the elevator to the first room requires a turn, so we weren't disturbed by any noise at night. The breakfast isn't super extensive, but it has all the essentials, so overall I'm very satisfied.

JJuexiaodiThe hotel is a 10-minute walk from the subway station and consists of two buildings: the main building and an annex. The rooms aren't huge, but they're a good size for hotels in the same price range. They offer 24-hour hot water, coffee, drinks, and a microwave for heating food, which is great. Free luggage storage is also available. There's a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, so communication was seamless. Breakfast was decent too. The only downside, if I had to pick one, was the constant stream of tour groups. It's also just a 5-minute walk from the main shopping street in Shinsaibashi.

GGigi GweeIt is our first time staying near that area, and we wanted to find a hotel near to Tennoji zoo. it is a very kids friendly hotel, breakfast varieties not not, basically japanese food, but it's tasty and decent, but due to eco friendly policy, they will not come and clean your room everyday except throwing trash and replacing new towel. on the overall, stay was comfortable.

AAnonymous UserThis is my top pick for a hotel when shopping in Umeda. It's about a 10-minute walk to Lucua, and the surroundings are really pleasant. The room was also very clean. I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I come back. The only downside is the room size. It was advertised as 18.4 sqm, but I doubt it was even that. It felt much smaller, probably 15-16 sqm at most. There was absolutely no space to put my luggage. I had to move the nightstand just to squeeze it in. Later, when I stayed in Kyoto, I had a room that was also 18 sqm, but I could open my suitcase completely and still have space for a massage chair.

AAmando G.Had a lovely stay at the Tones Osaka. It looks pretty much as in the pictures, which is rare these days. Staff was super friendly and helpful during the entire stay. Room was generally very clean. Mine was located to the backside of the window (window next to wall), therefore no disturbing level outside noise. Breakfast was a bit smaller than expected (croissants, danish and bread buns) but actually just for my taste. I Just think it should just be communicated on their web presence since guests might expect more from this kind of boutique hotel. Overall I would stay here again. Umeda station is walkable in distance. Good food and entertainment selection is to be found in the area.
