We had a wonderful stay at Phoenix Dayin Qianfu Homestay and can highly recommend it. The rooms are beautifully designed, modern, and furnished with great attention to detail. You can really feel the care and thought that has gone into every aspect of the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The owner was also incredibly kind and hospitable, even inviting us to join him for tea, which made our experience feel very personal and memorable. What we especially appreciated was how helpful everyone was. The team assisted us with purchasing tickets for local attractions and arranging a boat tour, making our trip much easier and more enjoyable. Thank you for making our stay so special. We would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The receptionist was very friendly and helped us with everything. She even upgraded our room and brought us a watermelon (which was tasty!). The room was spacious, clean and cozy. It even had a balcony with a beautiful view on the river. As the hotel is around 1km (around 10-15min walk) from the main center of the river you can sleep peacefully in quiet environment. I really recommend it! Thank you for having us ＜3 PS. We also received a gift after checking out but I don't want to spoil what was inside. You need to come and stay here to discover this surprise ;)

The room was very spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel upgraded our room for free, and it even had an outdoor balcony. There's a path from the hotel that leads directly to Fenghuang Ancient Town if you walk upstream along the Tuojiang River. The hotel service was very warm and welcoming. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The owner thoughtfully arranged a pick-up service from the high-speed train station. Upon check-in, our room was upgraded, and they kindly assigned us a ground-floor room since we were traveling with a child. The view from the window was breathtaking, and the river-view guesthouse truly exuded poetic charm. It was very convenient to cross the bridge to the other side just by going downstairs. The owner enthusiastically recommended local ethnic customs and a bonfire party, which was definitely worth the price. Although our trip was short, we were reluctant to leave. On our way back, they warmly helped us with our luggage and took us to the shuttle station. Our entire Fenghuang Ancient Town trip was greatly enhanced by choosing such a hospitable inn. This quaint ancient town and its friendly ethnic atmosphere make me want to bring my family back to Fenghuang again if I get the chance!

The room was incredibly clean, far exceeding our expectations. The owner was exceptionally kind, reaching out to me a day in advance to provide directions. On the day of arrival, the owner personally picked us up from Hongqiao. They also offer ticket booking services. The room's balcony was absolutely amazing, offering panoramic views of both sides of the river. We opted for a drop-off at the train station the next day, and the owner personally accompanied us and handed us over to the driver. The entire trip was completely stress-free. Definitely a five-star review, I'd love to come back again!

Ctrip reviews did not disappoint! I found this hotel based on the excellent reviews, and its location is fantastic, right at the entrance of Hongqiao Gate, making travel incredibly convenient. There's a direct shuttle bus to the high-speed train station right outside (7 yuan per person; ride-sharing services here have a very low acceptance rate). Since there were three of us, they upgraded us to a triple room. The room was spacious and had an 'Xiaodu' smart speaker. The service was excellent; all our requests were handled immediately. During peak season, I'm sure it gets very busy, and the breakfast selection is quite diverse.

We had such a great stay here! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had such a beautiful view. The staff were incredibly sweet and kind, and always ready to help us with anything we needed. Even with the language barrier, they made everything easy and were always available when we had questions. The location is also super convenient, especially being close to the railway station, and they even helped us get taxis which made things so much smoother. Right outside the hotel, there were also so many local restaurants with really delicious food, which made it even better. Our balcony view honestly felt like something out of a movie right by the river with performances happening and lots of cute little shops around. We felt really welcomed the whole time and would definitely stay here again!

I came to Fenghuang alone to relax, and this hotel was just too comfortable. It's in a quiet location on the edge of the ancient town, yet still very close to the scenic area. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Tuojiang River, so coming back after seeing the night view isn't noisy at all. The room was sparkling clean, the bedding was soft and fluffy, and the bathroom had no strange odors. The owner was warm and thoughtful, helping with my luggage and patiently explaining the touring routes. It's great value for money, and I didn't feel bad staying alone. I'll definitely come again next time!

Pros: - nice room - clean - staff helped me carry my backpack to room and took me to where taxi pickup point was - location is centre to everything - nice views Cons: - at the top of a BIG hill (it says elevator is provided but it only brings you to the start of what are a VERY long climb of stairs to your room) - nowhere did it say the room would only be accessible via stairs (saying they have an elevator is very misleading), only because I read a review which mentioned there were stairs did I make a special request to have my bags kept at reception as I wouldn’t be able to bring them to my room. Even though I booked and made my request in advance (via Trip.com’s process when booking), they did not even read it so I had to deal with this problem once I arrived. - wiring in the shower (not sure if it’s save or not, but made me uncomfortable) - due to my tier level with Trip.com I was told I would get; late check out, room upgrade and free breakfast. When they checked me in and I asked about breakfast they told me that I didn’t have it included. After showing them I did, only then did they actually look at my booking - terrible. I then asked about the room upgrade as the hotel was not fully booked and they said that this was the room upgrade… it was not, this was the room I booked (which is fine, I just don’t appreciate being lied to when you clearly didn’t look at my booking). Overall thoughts: - if you only have one small bag that you can carry with ease, then it’s great - if you have large/multiple/heavy luggage don’t book here! You can get a day ticket to walk up the hill (where the hotel rooms are) for pictures of the view - Trip.com please get this hotel to actually look at the bookings made and to honour special requests and tier privileges where possible

The entire experience here truly shows the owner's thoughtful dedication. The room was clean and tidy, and the location is absolutely fantastic, right by the river. Being centrally located, it's super convenient for sightseeing. They offer a diverse breakfast in the morning, and in the afternoon, you can enjoy a lovely high tea by the riverside, just sitting and taking in the view. Downstairs, there's a cozy bar that offers a unique 'day coffee, night drinks' experience, which I absolutely loved. You can leisurely sip coffee during the day and unwind with a drink in the evening, all while enjoying the river view – it's incredibly relaxing. The service was warm, attentive, and incredibly thorough, taking care of every little detail. It’s a one-stop-shop for dining, accommodation, and entertainment, offering great value for money. Staying here for my trip to Fenghuang was perfect, and I'll definitely choose this place again if I come back!
