The Sapporo Washington Hotel Plaza is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Sapporo will find that the Sapporo Washington Hotel Plaza is a fantastic accommodation choice. With Sapporo Station just 400m away and Sapporo Okadama Airport only 7km away, transportation is very convenient. Just a short walk from Sapporo Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. This hotel is located near many of Sapporo's attractions including Sapporo Clock Tower, Sapporo Beer Garden and Noria Ferris Wheel. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

"The room was spacious enough, with a table and chairs which were very convenient for organizing my belongings and eating. I especially appreciated that there were no steps in the bathroom, which is quite rare for hotels in Japan, haha. If you're heading to the JR station on a rainy or snowy day, there's a subway entrance (exit 16) diagonally across the street from the hotel. It was a bit confusing the first time, but once you get the hang of it, it's very convenient. Just go to exit 18 and take the single-person escalator up, and you're almost there. On a clear day, the easiest and most direct way is to exit the JR North exit, turn right, go straight past the traffic light, and you'll see the hotel sign. There are two supermarkets nearby, which are good for picking up some food and drinks. The hotel doesn't provide complimentary bottled water, but there's a coffee and hot tea service on the second floor during two specific time slots, accessible by room card."

Amazing
GGinny ThamThis is my second time staying here. I really like this hotel, even though the walk to the stations (Sapporo station, Toho Line and Namboku Line) is like 10-15 minutes' walk away. I like the room, not big but enough to accommodate a solo traveller like myself. And it's clean and comfy. I also like the option of just changing the towels and clearing the trash without doing a full-on housekeeping. Will definitely stay again when I go Sapporo.

AAnonymous UserI meticulously chose this hotel after looking through many in Sapporo, and it offers excellent value for money. I selected a room on floors 15-17, and I was assigned one on the 17th, the highest floor. My corner room faces west, offering a panoramic view of the distant mountains and the lush greenery surrounding Hokkaido University. The other side faces south, where I could see the Ferris wheel 🎡 and the clock on the TV Tower 🗼. Every morning, waking up to the sight of green hills enveloped in white clouds, I felt so relaxed that I almost didn't want to leave the room. I could have visited the Hokkaido University Museum nearby, and even had a meal there, but I went on a holiday and couldn't get any food. Getting to JR Sapporo Station was very convenient, especially close to the North Exit. Even with my mobility issues, my local guide pulled me along from JR Station to the hotel, in the evening rain, with an umbrella and luggage. For someone with average stamina, it would be no problem at all. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge variety, it offered items I enjoyed, so I was very satisfied every morning. Their honey, labeled 'honeycomb,' was particularly interesting and delicious; I found it exceptionally sweet and fragrant, though I wonder if it was just my imagination. There were four magnetic signs on the door to indicate whether housekeeping 🧹 was needed. I chose not to have my room cleaned as I don't like others touching my bed. Each morning, I'd just place the trash outside the door and ask for two bottles of water. Inside JR Sapporo Station, there are many places to eat and shop. I bought Sapporo Agricultural College cookies, which weren't too sweet, at the Hokkaido specialty store on the first floor. There were many other shops I didn't have time to browse. Don't miss the JR Observation Deck on the 38th floor! You can go during the day, at night, or at dusk to watch the sunset. It's very convenient and beautiful. A taxi to Shiroi Koibito Park cost around 3000 yen, which is a bit pricey. Other places like Odori Park and the Ferris wheel are much closer, costing just over a thousand yen. Some reviews mentioned that the north side is quieter than the south. I agree. Since I don't enjoy shopping, the north side was perfect for me. Perhaps because my room was at the end of the hallway, it was exceptionally quiet. The guests next door seemed very quiet too. Sometimes it was so quiet it felt almost desolate. Maybe the soundproofing of the windows is excellent.

SSuiranshijingshenbingdanshimeiguanxiA truly pleasant stay! The hotel is conveniently located, just a ten-minute walk from Sapporo Station, and the surrounding area is quiet. Although the room wasn't spacious, it was well-designed, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, were very friendly and welcoming, and proactively offered advice on city transportation. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, with a good mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and I especially recommend the freshly prepared hot food. The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. It's a highly cost-effective choice for both business trips and city sightseeing. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Sapporo.

MmcspikyOur family had an excellent stay at Bespoke Hotel Sapporo! The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to help with any request — truly one of the highlights of our trip. The room isn’t very large, but it was still comfortable and adequate for a family of four. We managed perfectly fine, and the heater/air-conditioning system was fantastic. It was very easy to adjust the room temperature to exactly how we wanted it. A couple of small areas for improvement: The laundry room only has three machines, so sometimes guests leave their clothes inside for too long, which can be inconvenient. Parking is very limited — only eight slots, and availability depends on your car’s size. We were only able to park after switching to a smaller rental car. Thankfully, the hotel provides access to affiliated parking lots nearby at discounted rates. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to Bespoke Hotel Sapporo. It was a great experience for the whole family!

MM295973****The view from the hotel window was absolutely stunning, and the room was very spacious. All in all, it was a great experience. Our flight arrived early, so we got to the hotel at 12 PM, but the hotel was fantastic. They had a room ready and let us check in early so we could catch up on sleep. I'll definitely stay here again next time! ❤️

NNG CHEAU CHENGI stayed here for five days and four nights. The room was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The mountain view from the window was breathtaking. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is located right next to the famous Nakajima Park, and the snowy scenery there was absolutely beautiful. It’s also very close to the Nakajima Koen subway station, which made getting around easy. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

AAnonymous UserOne of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in Japan. Just be very very careful in pinning the map. We were brought miles away from Sapporo in the middle night and nowhere to seek help. We reached the hotel at dawn already, tired and weak, scared. It was a terrible experience but the hotel is good. We got no help from the staff. The view from the hotel is perfect. Everything is nearby the hotel.

11362175****The hotel's location is great, situated between Sapporo JR Station and Odori Subway Station. It's very close to the JR shopping area, Odori Park, and Tanukikoji shopping street, all within about a 6-minute walk. Right outside the hotel, to the left, is entrance #7 to the underground passage. Across the street is entrance #8 (which has an accessible elevator, very convenient for luggage). You can walk directly from JR Sapporo Station to the hotel via the underground passage, which is a big plus when there's snow on the ground and dragging luggage is inconvenient. This is an economy hotel, and the hygiene is quite good. Rooms aren't cleaned daily; for a three-night stay, it's cleaned once, but fresh towels are left outside the door every day. In the lobby, you can find skincare and toiletries, and garbage bags can be requested from the front desk. There's a Chinese staff member at the front desk who was helpful but never smiled, always maintaining a stern expression. Breakfast is served in the 2nd-floor restaurant, which also operates as an izakaya in the evenings. It was very mediocre; after three days, I was practically sick of it. It's a mix of Japanese and Western styles, and I wouldn't recommend adding it to your booking.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is newly opened this year, so everything is still very new. However, it was extremely crowded during our stay. The onsen was overcrowded and chaotic, making it difficult to relax or enjoy the experience. Breakfast was not included. We stayed for four nights and planned to try breakfast only once, but were surprised to learn it costs ¥4,000 per person — including for an 8-year-old child. This felt overpriced and unreasonable. For such a large hotel, there are only three washing machines. At the time, only two were working, and guests had to queue for hours to use them. Overall, despite the new facilities, the overcrowding and poor planning significantly affected our stay. Would not recommend.

CClaire FanWhen I first arrived at the hotel around noon, all I could think was, ”Wow, this place is massive!” After checking in that afternoon, I realized not only was the lobby huge, but the room was also incredibly spacious. It's easily the biggest room I've stayed in across all my trips to Japan! Even the hot spring area and the restaurants were enormous. Everything was just huge, which is probably why there were so many tour groups – lots of elderly groups from Korea, Japan, and China. Honestly, I absolutely loved the seafood rice bowl and milk at breakfast. It's been two days since I've been in Tokyo, and I'm already missing it so much! 🥰 Dinner, however, was pretty average. There wasn't even any salmon sashimi, just a three-piece sushi plate with salmon and two other kinds of fish that I don't eat. I asked the sushi chef if I could just have a piece of salmon, but he refused and was quite rude about it... speechless.
