"Place was good and we could park the car well. The parking garage manager was really kind. The hotel has 7 eleven downstairs and also a laundry room if you pay (the wasmachine is really big so you could drop all your clothes at the end of the stay). The only little problem is the room is a bit small. We had quit big suitcases so if you bring big suitcases, book a bigger room or be smart when packing. The location is really nice only 2 minutes from the market and so many food options around the hotel!"

"I came to Jeju for a 3-day relaxing getaway, and this hotel exceeded all my expectations. My main criterion when choosing a hotel was having a swimming pool, as I really wanted to swim but wasn’t sure whether the sea would already be warm enough. The rooftop pool was perfect for both swimming and relaxing after my hike up Hallasan. The views of the ocean were stunning, and on my first evening I was even able to watch fireworks over Saeyeongyo Bridge directly from the pool. The location is excellent, especially for travelers without a car. I do not have a driver’s license and relied entirely on public transportation during my stay. The hotel is surrounded by bus stops, and I was able to reach Hallasan and Jeju Airport by limousine bus without transfers. The airport bus stop is almost right in front of the hotel entrance. My room was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed, including slippers, towels, bathrobes, and toiletries. The view from the room was beautiful, overlooking the park, waterfalls, the ocean, and Saeseom Island. The hotel also has a CU convenience store, a yoga room, and a fitness center. Breakfast is available as a buffet with a mix of Korean and Western dishes. Even though I arrived close to the end of breakfast service, there was still plenty of food available and I was able to put together a well-balanced meal. What impressed me most was the kindness of the staff. I asked one of the receptionists for recommendations on beaches and seafood restaurants, and she kindly printed out a detailed list that the hotel staff had prepared specifically for guests. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Jeju."

"Great stay overall. The hotel is in a quiet and convenient location, which made it very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, including the carpark staff. The room was well-maintained, though the carpet could have been cleaner. 2 minor issue was that the toilet light would occasionally switch off unexpectedly and window mesh are not sealed properly that caused the mosquito to fly in. Other than that, we had a pleasant experience."

"Getting here from the city center involves taking bus 510 and then about a ten-minute walk. However, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it very convenient for exploring attractions near Seogwipo. They offer luggage storage, even utilizing a disused restaurant space specifically for this. The sea view rooms are well-located; I'd recommend requesting a higher floor for the best views, as my room was on the fifth. The room itself was just average; it felt quite cramped with two suitcases opened, and the plush carpet looked a bit tired. The bathroom had a shower, which I actually liked as it's quite uncommon in Jeju. There's an infinity pool on the 7th floor, though it does incur an extra charge. While the front desk staff's English was passable, most communication was still in Korean. Overall, it felt like a domestic budget hotel with a sea view, which is understandable given the price point."

"Located in Seogwipo city center, the transportation isn't very convenient. The nearest bus stop is a 15-minute walk away, and it's uphill and downhill. Facilities: The hotel environment is good, clean, not damp, and odor-free. Service: A 50,000 won deposit is required. Environment: The sea view includes a harbor, which is nice if the weather is good. The key thing is that the price is under 300, making it very worthwhile."

"A very pleasant hotel, the room was clean, and the view from the hotel was beautiful. The staff at the front desk were kind. However, starting from 8 AM, staff were noisy in the hallway, dragging carts back and forth and talking loudly, even though there were still guests in their rooms. It's necessary to either improve the soundproofing or ask staff to speak more quietly, as it's unpleasant when you're on vacation and want to sleep but hear such noises. I liked that the bus stop was nearby and that it was possible to leave luggage at the neighboring hotel if needed."

It's very close to Jeongbang Waterfall, Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, and Lee Jung Seop Art Gallery, all within walking distance. Dining and shopping options are abundant nearby, so if you're looking to experience the authentic slow pace of life in Jeju, this is definitely the place to choose. Despite being an older hotel, the rooms are exceptionally well-maintained, clean, tidy, and free of any odors. I highly recommend the ocean view rooms; the panoramic views are incredible. As soon as you open the window, you're greeted by a vast expanse of blue ocean and the hotel's stunning green gardens. The furniture in the room is of good quality, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities are also impressive; the shower has excellent water pressure, which is wonderfully refreshing after a long day. The unbeatable ocean views, tranquil gardens, and attentive service made this vacation absolutely perfect. Whether it's a family trip or a romantic getaway, this is a hidden gem of a hotel with incredible value that I highly recommend! I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Seogwipo. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, making the check-in process quick, and their service was thoughtful and thorough. The cleaning staff were timely and meticulous. Although some of the service staff weren't particularly fluent in Chinese, communication was very friendly, and their attitude was truly heartwarming."

"Staying at this hotel really made me feel like I was in Jeju (we could see horses from our bed!). There was plenty of parking available even late at night. There are many local restaurants around the hotel with reasonable prices. We even got a 7,000 won discount on takeout chicken from a nearby chain because it was the World Cup season. It's about a 30-minute walk to the Seongsan Ilchulbong ticket office. The room was more spacious than I expected. With YouTube, Netflix, and Disney+ all available, there was plenty to watch in the room, so we never got bored. All the staff, from the front desk to room cleaning and the breakfast buffet restaurant, were friendly. The hotel breakfast was very satisfying for the price. Fresh vegetables and delicious fruits were generously and neatly provided daily. I was worried about the hot water schedule notice, but warm water was always available, so there were no inconveniences. The shower stall was larger than average, which was great. For consecutive nights, we received 3 bottles of water and fresh towels daily, and the trash was emptied. It's self-check-in/check-out, but there's always staff at the front desk right next to it, so you can get help anytime. There were guests in the next room, but the soundproofing was good, and we weren't disturbed. There's a bakery called 'Jeil Seongsimdang' near the hotel with a wide variety of delicious bread. I wish I had a bakery like that where I live. I highly recommend checking it out. While the hotel is far from Jungmun and the airport, and it doesn't have a sophisticated exterior or luxurious feel, it offers excellent value for both money and satisfaction. We booked with breakfast included, and for this price and service, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. If I have the chance, I would 100% stay here again. Thanks to this stay, I had a satisfying trip and now dream of returning to Jeju."

"Grand Mer Hotel, located near Nonjitmul, is quiet and clean. You can see Gunsan Oreum at a glance, and the view is great with unobstructed views in all directions. The staff are friendly, and the bedding and facilities are clean. I will visit again next time I come to Jeju."
