"Room is spacious. Cleaniness is good, just that it's an old hotel. Basin tap need replacement. The nozzle attachment is missing. Turn on too big the water splash everywhere. Shower head need replacement, leaking when turn on from the sides. Top shower head holder require replacement or at least tighten. Room1837. Aircon is good. Takes awhile to reach the settings though. But nothing to complain about. Bed is comfortable. Bedsheets has some minor stains. Nothing disgusting. There is one thing to take note. Request for city view instead of sea view. The outside glass is not clean, full of stains. Could be due to the renovation site next to the hotel. If you want to rest during the day. Avoid sea view. The construction noise level is too loud to have proper rest."

"The pipe head is loose. Be careful when open or close the pipe head. The pillow fabric has a dirt spot. The cleanliness of room needs improvement. The hairdryer cannot open. Exchange the hairdryer with another hairdryer. No water bottle. Collect slippers from the counter at level G. The staff is helpful. Free car parking but it's limited. Better bring own towel."

"The location is great, right next to the Red House and Jonker Street, making it super convenient for sightseeing and late-night snacks. The staff were wonderful; seeing that we had a child, they even helped us with an early check-in and exchanged Malaysian Ringgit for us. It was truly a heartwarming experience."

"The hotel itself is very nice, and the rooms are reasonably spacious. No bath tub, just standing shower. Breakfast was simple but adequate, with a live egg station and a noodle station. Parking is free. Location itself is a bit out of the city centre, but nothing that Grab cannot handle. I drove, so it wasn't really a problem. I would recommend, if you can get it at a good price."

"Positive : Good location, good price, I booked twin room , room and bathroom size just nice for 2 guess. negative: hotel looks a bit run down, bathroom no lock .. which is a bit inconvenient when travelling with friends, the escalater not working, the corridors to the room so dark at night, they off the lights to save the cost but feel a bit unsafe as lady traveller , front dest guys was not friendly at all... i just asked a bit earlier 2.30 check in , he answered so rude .. hotel reception mean need to smile at least even if the answer is no .. actually its weekdays and the entire hotel only a few guests..can give.. i hv many hotel give at 2 pm if room available.. i hate the hotel doesn't give early check in but strictly mk early check out even not super low season.. and this hotel is only 3star level .. its not 4 star .. but the swimming pool is good"

"This was my first time staying at Babahouse, and I really loved the concept and traditional style of the hotel. From the moment we arrived at the lobby, we were warmly greeted and welcomed with a complimentary drink coin for the entire stay — 1 coin per person, per room. Since we had 2 rooms for 2 days, we received 4 coins in total. A nice little touch that made us feel welcomed. When we entered our rooms, they were generally clean, tidy and comfortable. However, in one of the rooms, we noticed some mould on the towel and also on the bed. We understand that this can happen if a room has been unoccupied for some time, especially with the humid weather. We also noticed that only some of the room windows have coverings, which may contribute to the room condition. Hopefully, the management can pay extra attention to this. The weather outside was extremely hot, with no rain for the whole week, so the first thing we did was turn the air-conditioning on full blast! We also tried the gym and really enjoyed it. Although the gym is small, the space is sufficient for a simple workout. They also provide towels and drinking water, which is very convenient. Around the hotel, there is Rumah Kechik Café and also a hidden bar on the side, which adds to the overall charm and experience. During our stay, we didn't drive around much. We mainly went out to Jonker Street and simply walked from the hotel. It was easy and convenient, and it also saved us time from dealing with traffic and finding parking. Overall, I really enjoyed my first stay at Babahouse. I love the traditional concept, atmosphere and location. With a little more attention to room maintenance and cleanliness, I believe the experience could be even better. Definitely a place I would consider staying again when visiting Melaka."

"From a tiny 15sqm 'birdcage' in Singapore costing over 600 RMB, to a spacious 50sqm suite in Malacca for just over 200 RMB – it's like going from hell to heaven! I specifically booked this suite because it explicitly mentioned having a washer and dryer, and it was totally worth it! The only minor drawback was the lack of slippers. The hotel I'm staying at today in Port Dickson also doesn't provide slippers. Do they expect international travelers to carry a pair of slippers with them everywhere they go?"

"The environment is very comfortable... it's perfect for a stay... and it's also very close to tourist attractions... I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time I visit... it's really, really comfortable and convenient."

"Is a studio room and is big enough and have balcony too. Nearby have many restaurants, pub and convenience stores. There is also many facilities like gym, swimming pool and sauna. Close at 10pm I going to use the sauna but I saw a huge cockroach so the cleanliness is a bit… And sometimes during midnight you will still heard mat rempit sound"
