Everything you need for food, drinks, and entertainment is easily accessible. It's also not far from major attractions like the Dutch Square (Red House) and Jonker Street. 2. **Cleanliness and Amenities:** Although the interior decor feels a bit dated, the hotel maintains good cleanliness and is tidy. Both the rooms and the entire hotel are very spacious with comprehensive facilities, easily meeting the standards of a domestic four-star hotel or higher. It's also very quiet, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep. 3. **Extensive Breakfast & Large Pool:** The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, though it might not entirely cater to Chinese tastes. The swimming pool is also quite large. 4. **Good Service:** The hotel staff provides good service and is friendly towards Chinese guests. **Overall:** Considering the price point of 300-500 yuan, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The stay experience was very good, and I personally recommend it."

"Positive : Good location, good price, I booked twin room , room and bathroom size just nice for 2 guess. negative: hotel looks a bit run down, bathroom no lock .. which is a bit inconvenient when travelling with friends, the escalater not working, the corridors to the room so dark at night, they off the lights to save the cost but feel a bit unsafe as lady traveller , front dest guys was not friendly at all... i just asked a bit earlier 2.30 check in , he answered so rude .. hotel reception mean need to smile at least even if the answer is no .. actually its weekdays and the entire hotel only a few guests..can give.. i hv many hotel give at 2 pm if room available.. i hate the hotel doesn't give early check in but strictly mk early check out even not super low season.. and this hotel is only 3star level .. its not 4 star .. but the swimming pool is good"

"All basic toilet accessories are provided. Lack of s/s tea spoons, don't like given plastic to stir hot drinks. Air cond is cold enough and good that can turn off. Shower water pressure is good. Shower and shampoo gel were provided but no hair conditioner. No smart TV or any cable channel. Walking distance surrounded with bar and food but not to Jonker Street."

"This was my first time staying at Babahouse, and I really loved the concept and traditional style of the hotel. From the moment we arrived at the lobby, we were warmly greeted and welcomed with a complimentary drink coin for the entire stay — 1 coin per person, per room. Since we had 2 rooms for 2 days, we received 4 coins in total. A nice little touch that made us feel welcomed. When we entered our rooms, they were generally clean, tidy and comfortable. However, in one of the rooms, we noticed some mould on the towel and also on the bed. We understand that this can happen if a room has been unoccupied for some time, especially with the humid weather. We also noticed that only some of the room windows have coverings, which may contribute to the room condition. Hopefully, the management can pay extra attention to this. The weather outside was extremely hot, with no rain for the whole week, so the first thing we did was turn the air-conditioning on full blast! We also tried the gym and really enjoyed it. Although the gym is small, the space is sufficient for a simple workout. They also provide towels and drinking water, which is very convenient. Around the hotel, there is Rumah Kechik Café and also a hidden bar on the side, which adds to the overall charm and experience. During our stay, we didn't drive around much. We mainly went out to Jonker Street and simply walked from the hotel. It was easy and convenient, and it also saved us time from dealing with traffic and finding parking. Overall, I really enjoyed my first stay at Babahouse. I love the traditional concept, atmosphere and location. With a little more attention to room maintenance and cleanliness, I believe the experience could be even better. Definitely a place I would consider staying again when visiting Melaka."

"The Shore Hotel & Resident Melaka— ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything was excellent! The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were well maintained, and the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The location was also convenient, making the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended! "The room was spacious and comfortable and the location was quite good . Very convenient to travel around and explore area. The only one thing disappointed us that experience during check out. We had informed the front desk in person as we needed a late check out till 2pm and then had paid RM50 for it . The front desk took our keycard and room number to update after payment. So Despite this , around 1.15 pm , one of the hotel staff come to our room and rang the bell to tell us that it’s already over the check out time . We feel that the staff should have checked their system or confirmed with the front desk before coming to our room and inform us we exceed the check-out time. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay there and liked the spacious room and convenient location."

"For two nights I stayed at the Central Melaka Hotel, it's convenient to go to food shops in front of the hotel, just cross the delicious food, Prata Bread, fried noodles, fried kwetiau, Tosai, pull tea drinks, halia tea and also coffee ☕️ you can also walk to Mortan village If you want to have breakfast at the hotel you can also .The hotel staff is friendly thank you"

"The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and I could see the sea as soon as I drew back the curtains. It was very convenient for getting around; just a few steps from the hotel, there were Sichuan restaurants, wonton noodle shops, Chaoshan hot pot, and coffee shops. It took about 7-8 minutes to get to Jonker Street by taxi, and the value for money was excellent. The breakfast was decent and generally met our needs."

"The location is superb, right by the Dutch Square (Red Square), just a few steps away from Jonker Street Night Market and the Melaka River Cruise jetty. You can explore historical sites during the day and the night market in the evening, saving a lot of travel time by not having to go back and forth. The building features a retro Nanyang-style design. The lobby with its black and white tiled floors and arched windows creates a wonderful ambiance, perfect for taking beautiful photos. The rooms are well-maintained and feel new, offering spaciousness and comfortable bedding. Some room types even come with projectors, making for a very relaxing stay. The hotel also offers DIY craft activities, which looked like a lot of fun for the kids participating. The front desk staff were very friendly. When I asked where to exchange currency, one of the ladies even circled the location on a map and gave me detailed directions, which I really appreciated. Check-in and check-out were both efficient, and they offer free luggage storage. The hotel has its own cafe, making dining convenient. Staying right in the heart of the old town's attractions, saving on commuting time, makes this hotel highly recommended for family trips."
