GGuest UserVery satisfied with the room, breakfast, and service. It's a shame the pool was a bit small and mostly in direct sunlight all day, so I didn't get to swim, which was a bit disappointing. The parking is in a public garage, and you have to give your ticket to the front desk for free validation, which was a bit inconvenient.

AAnonymous UserThe lobby decor was quite grand, though noticeably vintage. Check-in was quick, and the staff even offered a welcome drink. Parking is free for both entry and exit; you just need to validate your license plate at the front desk each time you enter. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the bedding was excellent. As it's a renovated hotel, some of the grout in the bathroom still had grime. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area, and it's within walking distance to Jonker Street, which is a big plus. We paid for breakfast for two, but the value for money wasn't great. The food selection and taste were decent, but there were limited main dishes. For example, when we went for breakfast at 7:30 AM, there were only 3 siomai left. They were delicious, but despite waiting until 9:30 AM, they were never refilled. The replenishment speed for all food, fruit, milk, etc., was very poor, with many items not being refilled at all.

AAnonymous UserHotels under big brands generally offer reliable quality, and this one is no exception – the front desk, rooms, and breakfast are all top-notch. It's rare to find a twin room in Malacca with single beds wider than 1.2m, which is incredibly important when traveling with children. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Red Square and Jonker Street. While it's a bit of a distance from the main attractions, it's actually nice because you get a glimpse of local life instead of being constantly surrounded by tourist shops. It's very quiet at night, and there's a 7-Eleven just a two or three-minute walk away.

1. ample parking space just infront of the hotel
2. spacious room with ironboard, fridge, kettle, tea & coffee and drinking water
3. big bathroom with toothbrush, body wash, shampoo
towel, face towel and toilet with bidet
4. hotel breakfast if purchased with room was good and compliments to the chef also the service assistant rahman was efficient.
5. checking in and out was fast.

Overall is ok, location is not too far away from town, then get cheaper price than town.
Room is ok, air cool ok,
shampoo and shower gel to be improved better quality .
Book with breakfast, because not familiar there, disappointed that no have coffee machine, just coffee pack with hot water only, suggest the hotel need to investments the coffee machine for more choice,
Coffee is important for breakfast .
Food need to improve, must keep warm not just put food inside, then no keep warm, you can see from photos.
Maybe you need to put a microwave for guest to do heat up themselves.
A good thing is you have “ white porridges “ which was hot
The staffs are no check spoon and forks, need to improve and re-training!

CCY_A very new hotel with very comfortable spacious rooms and is situated within the Portuguese settlement. My visit was during Christmas time so there were a lot of celebrations going on, adding to the atmosphere.
The visitor before me used the fridge for durians, and I could not use the fridge throughout my stay due to the smell. The stamps were very polite to ask me about my visit however there were no immediate rectification or solutions provided. Maintenance will be an issue if not taken care of well.

PPS XuI booked 2 deluxe king rooms for 2adults and 2 teens as I don't require a lounge (additional room with sofa) and requested for connecting rooms but was told connecting rooms must booked with 1 family suite (1 room with 1 lounge) and 1 normal room.
Cons:
The rooms are quite old. Doors are not closed properly. Have to ensure the doors are fully closed every time.
The lifts are slow and HOT! There's no ventilation when the lift is full!!!
The walkways have no air con!!!!
The room's air con need to on full blast.

Super convenient location. Many nice food around and opposite the hotel. Cottage Spices nonya food, hock kee gift shop, ee ji ban chicken rice, etc...
15mins walk to jonker, 5mins to shopping malls, hatten coach bay
Nice sea view at the swimming pool.
Super fast room service from the housekeeping team when I requested for more mineral water, toilet paper and shower gels.
Daily housekeeping 👍👍👍 but please knock before entering the room when we are inside as we didn't hang the sign to clean room, the staff still enter 😮😮😮😮
Affordable price $302 for 3 nights x 2 deluxe king rooms.

GGuest UserThis Ibis is much better than those in China. The room is clean, and the bedding is also quite clean. The breakfast is relatively rich, though the taste might not suit Chinese palates. The front desk staff doesn't speak Chinese, and some only speak Malay, not English. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Jonker Street, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to the Dutch Square (Red Square), which is very convenient.
