The courtyard features a lawn and a swimming pool, perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the breeze in your downtime. Breakfast includes authentic Guilin rice noodles, which taste very genuine."

"Many places in Yangshuo are misleading online, but this one is really casually elegant. Upon checking in, you immediately feel the peace and privacy that 'Back Mountain' offers. The design cleverly utilizes the terrain to create a 'mountain retreat' feel. The room was super spacious, minimalist yet stylish, and you could see the quality of the materials everywhere, even in the small details. The room was also exceptionally clean. The owner, from Guangdong, was having tea in the tea room, and when we went to take photos, he proactively moved aside for us. Located with its back to the mountain and facing the water, we were treated to a magnificent sea of clouds on the second morning – truly stunning, confirming that Guilin from March to June is indeed beautiful. By midday, as the clouds dispersed, we could clearly see the three peaks behind us, resembling both an ingot and a pen holder, symbolizing 'wealth' and 'literary talent.' On the river-facing side, there was a 'large葫芦' (gourd), completing the collection of 'literature, wealth, blessings, and prosperity.' It's just a few minutes' walk to the Yulong River bamboo raft rafting pier, and the hotel offers electric scooter rentals right at the entrance. Yangshuo's narrow roads, with beautiful scenery at every turn, are perfect for an electric scooter, allowing you to stop and take photos anytime. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the quality was excellent. The milk didn't cause any discomfort after drinking, and even with our lactose intolerance, we didn't have any stomach issues. The freshly made rice noodles were delicious, though a bit salty – you can ask for less broth. Unfortunately, since it's newly opened, the Chinese restaurant was still in its调试阶段 (testing phase) and we couldn't experience it. I look forward to trying the Cantonese, Guangxi, and Sichuan fusion dishes next time. Overall: One of the best value-for-money options along the Yulong River."

"What I loved most was being able to lie in bed, open the electric curtains, and enjoy the views of Guilin's landscapes. Although there are some buildings blocking the foreground, it's a great trade-off for being so close to West Street – probably the best option available. The 'Sky Mirror' is particularly stunning for photos. The hygiene and service were both excellent. We booked a family room on the top floor, and it was super convenient for doing laundry. Definitely recommended!"

"The facilities are new and the service is excellent. They helped me arrange a car to the airport. At that time, there was a traffic jam in the town, and the airport car couldn't get in. The front desk arranged for a staff member to take me on an electric scooter to a non-congested area outside the town. The breakfast was a set meal and well-prepared. It's very convenient, just a short walk from the hotel to the 20 Yuan note scenic spot. I walked along the Li River from here to Jiatianxia, and it felt like I was strolling through a painting. If I have the chance, I'll definitely come back and stay here again."

"The Yangshuo Lisa Boutique Hotel is a simple place, but a real hidden gem. Cozy, authentic and beautifully maintained – exactly what you look for when you want to feel at home, even far away. The staff, almost entirely female, are extremely kind, patient, always helpful and genuinely lovely. Their smiles and care make all the difference. Breakfast is excellent and generous: you choose from three dishes, but portions are large and well-balanced, both sweet and savory. I stayed in room 307 and it was fantastic: traditional tatami with a motorized pull-out table activated by a button (such a cool detail!), a relaxing atmosphere and a stunning view over the city and the karst mountains. Spotless cleanliness with daily cleaning and linen changes – always perfect. I also highly recommend the spa massages inside the hotel: professional, relaxing and truly rejuvenating – the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Highly recommended: a simple hotel, yes, but with soul, style and great attention to detail. A true little gem. 💎"

"The hotel is newly renovated, with a nice environment and parking, making it very friendly for our self-driving trip. The front desk staff was very friendly, answering all our questions and providing information on local food and travel tips. It's right next to the road leading to the Ten-Li Gallery, so it's very close by bike, just a few minutes! It's also very close to the Shueidi Wharf and about a ten-minute drive from West Street, but we were worried about parking, so we took a taxi. The next day, when we were leaving, we wanted to go shopping, so we asked the front desk to borrow an electric scooter, which they readily agreed to. It's a great place to stay and highly recommended."

"The B&B's location is excellent – just a short walk to West Street, yet incredibly quiet and completely undisturbed by the street's hustle and bustle. The room was spacious, and the amenities were very comprehensive and of remarkably good quality for a guesthouse. The owner was lovely and even upgraded our room. The B&B also has an elevator, which is a huge plus when traveling with elderly family members. Finally, I have to mention the rooftop viewing platform; the view is fantastic, perfect for chatting or just relaxing when you don't feel like going out."

"I passed by a hotel that looked new and thought I'd just stay one night. But I was blown away when I stepped inside! [celebration] The facilities were better than many chain hotels. It had a ”sky mirror” – perfect for photos – and a rooftop infinity pool. It would be amazing to stay there in the summer. The hotel also had a restaurant, and since I didn't want to go out in the evening, I tried their local specialties – they were delicious! After eating and drinking my fill, I asked around for entertainment and was surprised to find they even had a karaoke room! You can just go straight to the hotel to sleep after a long day – it's perfect! It's a small hotel that has everything you need for food, drinks, and entertainment. I highly recommend it!"

The guesthouse had a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, easily ranking among the best of its kind. There's a rooftop pool that's shallow enough for kids to play in.
