"Stayed in Jiaxing with my parents for a short trip. I have to commend this Hampton; even during Chinese New Year, the room rates weren't overly inflated. I really loved the scent in the hallway on each floor, it reminded me of hotels I've stayed in Korea. The breakfast selection was quite extensive for a four-star hotel. During the New Year, the dining area was very crowded. My mother has difficulty walking, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful, helping us wait in line for a table. Just a small suggestion: it would be even better if there was a sofa in the room and another chair on the balcony."

"It's a very nice place in a beautiful location, very peaceful during our stay but very close to a wide selection of restaurants. The service was good, the breakfast has a large assortment. The only small issue was that we had to change rooms because we asked for non-smoking rooms but some rooms smelled."

"I booked a deluxe king room, which was spacious, had a separate shower and toilet, and was very clean and tidy. The front desk staff provided meticulous and thoughtful service. The breakfast was plentiful. The location is excellent, right at a crossroads, making it easy to reach various attractions and former residences of famous people by bus. The bus stops are conveniently located about 300-400 meters from the hotel. Highly recommended."

"The location is very good. It is just walkng distance to the famous sightseeing, Moon River Historic Street. The staffs are nice, helpful & willing to advise valuable tourist information. Also, they provide customers free washing machine services. It is very convenient to customers. However, one thing to be improved. No luggage rack provided in the hotel room. It is very bad for the old guy because their knee always not in good condition. Thanks to the staffs that they finally provide us 4 chairs to put on the luggage case. They are kind to us & tried their best to sort out our problem."

GRAND HOUSE JIA XING
"Initially, we were given a suite in Building 5. It was large, but the decor clearly looked like a self-built property, and all the facilities were visibly very old. The security access for this building was non-existent, and the elevator didn't require a card. After checking in, we noticed a significant amount of dust on the bedding and sheets, and coupled with the extremely outdated facilities, everything just felt dirty. It was completely different from the photos in the review section. So, we requested a room change, and thankfully, they responded immediately and moved us to Building 2. This building had proper security access, the room was much more normal, and the facilities were newer. My guess is that different buildings were renovated at different times, which is something to be aware of, otherwise, you'll have a completely different experience."

During the May Day holiday, Yanlaitang had various activities in the afternoon, and the kids enjoyed them so much they didn't want to leave the hotel."

"The hotel's exterior looks upscale and grand, but the room facilities are quite ordinary and don't meet five-star standards. The air conditioning in the room could only be set lower and wouldn't go above 23 degrees Celsius. There was a leak in the bathroom; I booked two adjoining rooms, and the shower water from one seeped to the toilet area of the other. The sound insulation in the rooms was poor – I could faintly hear children running upstairs, people sneezing next door, and luggage wheels rolling down the hallway. There was no shelf in the shower, so I had no choice but to put my own shampoo and shower gel on the floor while showering."

"This is a great hotel with incredibly warm service and excellent cleanliness. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were very helpful. The price isn't expensive for a city location, and the accommodation environment and hygiene are much better than similarly priced budget hotels. The service is professional and well-standardized, making it highly recommendable. It was renovated not long ago, but there are no strange smells, which is definitely a plus."

Check in can be early, check out can be late, freedom is key. You can wonder the ancient town or get transported via the hotel buggy. Staff are knowledge and helpful. Shower comes with a rainforest canopy head, toilet has UV lightdecontamination, beds have firmness adjustment. Chances are you will be exploring the town but if it is raining the hotel offers peaceful courtyards to relax and get memorized by a book or conversation. Will be staying here again."

The homestay is in a pet-friendly park. The environment is super suitable for walking dogs. The puppy can't stop running. We are happy. Butler Nannan, Su Nianxiang, Chen Feifan and Taiwan brother are responsive and the service is great! The room is clean and warm, the space is large enough, and the puppy is very comfortable inside. The most important thing is that I finally found a place where I really can't worry about being rejected or restricted! The park itself is also great, with good greening, fresh air, few people and quiet, especially suitable for emptying with Mao children. This trip experience is full, next time you bring your dog to Jiaxing, the bird collection must be the first place! **Highly recommended to all pet families! **"

"The lobby staff service is pretty good and the lobby smells good. But there are too many things to complain about in the room. First of all, it was strange that the toilet had no door. When I wanted to drink water, I found that the bottle of water in the room had been opened and drank. I was speechless. Then I found that the comb was in an empty bag. This shows that the aunt was really lazy in cleaning, and she didn't know how to replace the used things. The biggest thing I want to complain about is the air conditioner. The air outlet is at the bedside. It is super noisy, like flying on an airplane. I really didn't sleep well all night and was speechless."
