Dalian Hotels with Kitchens

"Participated in the Dalian Marathon. This was my second time visiting Dalian, and just like my previous trip during the 2019 Qingming holiday, I stayed at the InterContinental. The location is super convenient, with a subway station right outside. I usually head towards Zhongshan Square Station, but on checkout day, the doorman, the guy with the long hair in a ponytail, recommended Friendly Square Station and even walked me to the intersection. I really appreciated that! The hotel breakfast was fantastic and had a great variety, including Dalian specialties like sea cucumber porridge with rice and kidney bean clam noodles, plus roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), wraps, and fried dough sticks. I got to try them all! Housekeeping was very prompt; every day I'd leave in the morning and come back in the afternoon to a clean room. The bathroom was spacious and well-lit. The only minor downside was that the room didn't have a main overhead light, making it a bit dim."

"The front desk service was incredibly warm and welcoming; they'd greet us every time we passed by, which was lovely. The room was well-equipped, and being on a high floor, it was also very quiet. The space was quite generous, making it a great choice for a trip with friends. Plus, at this time of year, it offers really great value for money!"

"My friend and I were traveling during a holiday, laden with bags, and I was worried about long queues for check-in. Lisa, knowing we were on vacation, was incredibly thoughtful. She specifically arranged a non-smoking floor room for us and proactively told us where to find popular local snacks, bubble tea shops, and shopping areas near the hotel. She clearly explained taxi routes and walking directions and even reminded us to be careful when going out at night. She was truly as considerate as a friend. Walking into the room, I was immediately impressed. The cleanliness was impeccable, the room was spacious, and the layout was cozy and comfortable, creating a great vibe for photos, perfect for a girls' trip. Throughout our stay, whenever we saw Lisa entering or exiting the hotel, she would always greet us with a smile. When we needed disposable items or extra bottles of water on short notice, we just mentioned it to the front desk, and Lisa would immediately help us out. Her attitude was consistently excellent – patient and thorough, never perfunctory. The hotel's cleaning staff were also very diligent, tidying the room on time every day, making the beds, replenishing supplies, and keeping everything spotless. Lisa is such a gentle, warm, and detail-oriented person who always puts guests first. Her service was exceptionally thoughtful and down-to-earth, making our stay incredibly comfortable and reassuring. The Shangri-La's location is also very convenient, whether you're going to the airport or attractions. My bestie and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit this area!"

"My two-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Dalian for my birthday was absolutely fantastic! From check-in to check-out, everything was comfortable and thoughtful – truly exceeded my expectations. When we checked in, the staff upgraded our room, and the view instantly became much more expansive. The floor-to-ceiling windows faced the sea and the beach, offering stunning ocean views by day and captivating nightscapes by night. The ambiance was just perfect! I was genuinely surprised the moment I opened the door – the room had a lovely, simple birthday setup. It was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the amenities were all there, making for a truly relaxing stay. I slept soundly both nights, and the service was impeccable. The staff were all so welcoming, always ready to assist with any request, and their friendly attitude felt genuine, never making you feel awkward. The breakfast spread was also incredibly diverse, with both Western and Chinese options. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was spot-on. Enjoying a satisfying meal while looking out at the sea was such a treat. The location is also unbeatable, right next to Xinghai Square, with the beach just outside – perfect for strolls and sightseeing. Thanks to the Grand Hyatt's thoughtfulness, this birthday became extra special. It felt warm and inviting, a far cry from that cold, impersonal luxury sometimes found in high-end hotels."

"This was my first time booking a serviced apartment, and the room was much larger than I expected. Even though the hotel is nearly 10 years old, the facilities are well-maintained. It's fully equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, kitchenware, and tableware. The toiletries were even my favorite Atelier Cologne 'Pomelo Paradis'! The hotel is also super thoughtful; it's located just 200 meters from the marathon start line, and they prepared a special 'cheer-up' breakfast pack for all guests, regardless of whether they'd booked breakfast. The cleaning lady was very warm and friendly. There's direct access from the building to the neighboring mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. This will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Dalian."

"The room offered a sea view, which was lovely. Having a washing machine and a fridge was a huge plus, and all the appliances and furniture felt quite new and were in good working order. They even provided branded toiletries and a decent kettle, and the TV worked perfectly – truly impressive. The cleanliness was spot-on, and the space felt very generous, complete with a wardrobe, sofa, and even a kitchen. Downstairs, there were all sorts of shops, and it was close to the subway station, making it incredibly livable. Honestly, it felt more comfortable than some long-term rentals I've had in other cities. My few days of vacation truly felt like 'living.' I could sleep in until I naturally woke up, then go see the sea, visit attractions, fly kites, go mudlarking, and feed pigeons and seagulls. I even managed to wake up early one day to catch the sunrise and enjoyed the sunset in the evenings. At night, I'd stroll through the night market, find a spot to eat while listening to live music (it's great to find a seat!), and then head back to watch TV until I felt sleepy before drifting off. Each day was perfectly rounded and wonderful."

"My stay here was fantastic! The room had great natural light and was incredibly clean, without any strange odors. It was well-equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, a desk, a TV, WiFi, and even a washing machine, and the room itself was very spacious. The soundproofing was excellent, so it was really quiet at night! The hotel felt very safe too. You can't use the elevator without a room card, and food deliveries go to a locker downstairs, so even solo travelers who are a bit wary can feel secure [happy face]. The location is superb, right next to a subway station, making travel super convenient. It's also very close to Dalian Station, within walking distance. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy! I even asked how much it would cost to extend my stay by an hour, and the owner said it was no problem and wouldn't cost anything [rose][rose][rose]. The owner is incredibly kind. I had to leave unexpectedly and didn't have time to buy disposable bedding. I was thinking of bringing my own sheets but felt lazy and didn't want to carry them. I asked if they had any, and they gave me a disposable set for free! They even upgraded my room for free, and I could see a stunning sunrise right from my bed. The view and my mood were both perfect."

"Guest Relations: Camila called me in advance to note down my room preferences – a very thoughtful service. Check-in: Louie helped me with a complimentary room upgrade, and the view was absolutely beautiful. Service response was also very quick, and they even arranged a fruit platter for me. Overall, the stay was excellent, though I hope they can improve the TV's screen mirroring function. Still, a solid experience, living up to its reputation as a well-established five-star hotel."

"The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and the hygiene is impeccable. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Xinghai Square. The front desk staff were very helpful and responsive to any issues. For these reasons, I've given five stars across the board. However, the hotel has a significant flaw: I stayed in April, and due to rising temperatures, the room's indoor temperature soared to over 28 degrees Celsius from afternoon to evening, and stayed above 26 degrees even in the morning. It felt incredibly hot, and we couldn't open the windows for ventilation. According to the lobby manager and staff, the air conditioning wouldn't be turned on until after May 1st. This high temperature severely impacted our stay. I would advise against booking during seasonal transitions."

"I enjoyed staying in this hotel. 5 stars but reasonable price. The room was clean and spacious and the view outside looked out towards the sea and harbour. They made the beds every morning. I did not eat the breakfast as downstairs and surrounding area had plenty of cheaper options due to being next to many shopping malls. The metro stop is not so far but a little more inconvenient to get to the main train station by walking. Line 2 takes you to the airport in less than 40 minutes for 4RMB. As the metro is nearby you can get to many local tourist places quickly and cheaply. Highly recommend if you want to spend a little more but have close access to get around."
