"Nice and clean hotel. Book room with bunk bed and kid was happy. Room was spacious with full kitchen amenities and washer/dryer in room. Would be nice for families with long stay. Location is great!"

"Wonderful stay. Super delicious and wide spread of food for breakfast. The hotel has several restaurants and cafes that you do not need to venture out to eat. The souvenir shop is located beside Osen, do not miss it. Do step out of the area outside breakfast restaurant to see the full view of sakurajima, with sunrise view, though you may want to walk to the nearby lookout at the park. But I think the view from hotel is good. The bakery sells delicious bread, soft and fresh. Shuttle bus is available at both lobby, one near main entrance and one near the Italian restaurant at level one. There is a post box at the level one entrance too, you can send postcards there!"

"Perfect stay away from home . Spacious room with kitchenette and washer dryer .room was well maintained and really clean . Beddings were from Simmons and it was so comfortable to sleep in . Location was walking distance to Amu plaza and train station . Love this property !"

"The room is clean and comfortable, well-equipped, although there is no elevator, but the highest building is two floors, the burden of carrying luggage up and down the stairs is not big, it is about five to ten minutes walk from the planetarium, very convenient"

"Interesting Japanese onsen experience. For western travellers is a nice way to get insight in traditional onsen culture. Food was so interesting at the restaurant downstairs. Recommend for anyone wanting onsen bath experience, peaceful stay by the water, great views. Really enjoyed cycling around the island using the hotel bikes."

"The front desk staff at this hotel were incredibly kind and helpful. I strongly recommend booking breakfast; they offer a fantastic pork shabu-shabu buffet. The hotel boasts a rich history, dating back over 100 years. Although the facilities are a bit dated, they are perfectly functional and don't detract from the stay at all. It offers excellent value for money."

"Perfect for family with young kid. The apartment was nicely sized with a sufficient kitchen. We were able to cook a dinner there. If you would like to do laundry there was washer and rack for drying laundries."

"I loved staying here!! It had such a great communal vibe to it. One of my favorite memories from traveling Japan is sitting at the low tables in the common area, eating a convenience store dinner and watching baseball on the tv. I was only there 3 nights but it felt like it would’ve been an easy place to settle into for a longer stay. There was a fridge and kitchen, two showers & toilets, laundry, luggage storage, lockers, etc. Very close to the train station. Rooms were clean, I felt like the staff did a great job on the upkeep. I would definitely recommend you stay here. The only thing to be aware of is that the mattresses are really thin so the sleeping surface feels really hard."

"5mins to Kagoshima-Chuo Station and nearby supermarkets. I was assigned a room on the second floor, but there was no elevator and I had to take the stairs with my luggage to the second floor. The room was large, with a mini kitchen and various tableware. The cleanliness was generally ideal, but there was obvious dust accumulation on the air conditioner. The hotel has sent self-check-in reminders via email in advance, so the process of self-check-in was smooth."
