Located in the middle of the popular Dotombori Shopping Street, it takes 3 minutes from the Glico Running man by walk. The nearby Subway Namba Station is a 7-minute walk away, while Subway Nippombashi Station is a 5-minute stroll. Rooms feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen cable TV, fridge, and electric kettle. Great location, Dotonbori is just downstairs and there are plenty of restaurants right below the hotel. Less than 5 minutes’ walk to Shinsaibashi as well. The hotel service was excellent, we arrived early and they kindly arranged an early check-in for us. Toiletries like toothbrushes and toothpaste were also available for self-service in the lobby. Will book again next time!

I'll start with the morning, which is the food. It's delicious and varied; in my experience, the main dishes are repeated every 3-4 days. The location is absolutely perfect, with all the shops within walking distance, including a family market nearby. The metro is 5-10 minutes away, as are any other services. The train station is about a 40-minute drive away. There's also a dispenser (coffee, tea, toothbrushes, etc.) on the ground floor near the elevator.

Booked this SGF for its price during one of JP's busiest Oct weekend. Best thing: its location across from the lively Dotonbori canal area and 10-min walk to/from Namba Nankai Station, and the room view given as requested. Otherwise, it's a large and busy tourist hotel and our room was awkwardly configured and tiny, even by JP standards. Breakfast was a tad expensive and while it caters to all, it lacks a distinctive Japanese touch. It was good value for peak getaways but for other times, we can find better value elsewhere in Osaka.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights , all good ! First we booked for 5 nights and after that we were supposed to move to another hotel but ended up canceling another booking and extended our stay at One Five for two more nights. You can easily walk (about 15 min) to Doronbori and all the restaurants, ( also the glorious KUROMON market) but at the same time the hotel neighborhood is very quiet. The only downside for me was that windows didn’t open , but in the end it turned to be okay. You can pick the toiletries and the free coffee at the lobby, also use the microwave when you need it. Very friendly and helpful front desk.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to Yotsubashi Station. If you're coming from Shinsaibashi, it's quite a long walk for an in-station transfer, which isn't very convenient. There's a McDonald's and a 24-hour supermarket downstairs. However, the 10 AM check-out time is unacceptable; hotels in Tokyo and Aomori all have 11 AM check-out. On the first night, I asked the front desk for an extra pillow and blanket but was told they didn't have any. Breakfast access is denied after 9:30 AM, and the selection is very limited. The room size was the smallest I encountered during my entire trip to Japan. The price is a bit high, making the value for money just average. While a 26-inch suitcase can be opened, for a family trip, kids pretty much have to sit on the bed as there's not much space to move around. The bathtub and toilet are in the same bathroom, not a separate setup. Overall, if I visit Osaka again, I won't consider this hotel. I strongly advise against booking the breakfast; for over 100 yen per person, you're better off getting something at McDonald's downstairs.

My first time staying in a capsule hotel, and honestly, I was more impressed than I expected!
📍 Location: Amazing! It’s very close to Dotonbori—just a few minutes’ walk to food, shopping, and nightlife. Also near train stations, so getting around is super convenient.
🛏 Capsule Room: I thought it would be very small, but it’s actually more spacious than expected. I could stretch out comfortably. There’s decent privacy with a curtain, plus a power outlet and personal light.
🧼 Cleanliness: Highly rated! The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Amenities are provided, including towels and a hair dryer.
👩💼 Staff: Friendly, helpful, and able to communicate in English, which makes everything much easier.

⚠️ Cons:

GGuest UserI stayed for two nights, which was perfect after a fun day at Universal Studios Japan – I could just come back and relax. The hotel is surrounded by a bustling shopping street with plenty of restaurants and shops. I even grabbed some Sushiro takeout to enjoy back at the hotel. The room was very spacious, and I especially loved the three-part bathroom setup which was super convenient. All the bath amenities were well-stocked too. In the evenings, I could pop down to the 24-hour Lawson downstairs to buy a couple of onigiri to store in the mini-fridge. Each floor also has a microwave, so I could just heat them up before heading out the door in the morning.

XXLbaoWe stayed at The Singulari Hotel & Skyspa at Universal Studios Japan during our 4th trip to Japan and our first traveling with our auADHD toddler. This was our second hotel in Osaka, and we arrived by taxi directly from our previous hotel. Taxi tip: make sure you show the taxi driver the hotel name and address in Japanese. Our driver initially dropped us at Universal Studios Japan instead of the hotel entrance and that cost us when it showed him the Google maps address.
The hotel staff themselves were excellent. They deal with international guest on the daily and some speak English. Our forwarded luggage was received without issue and delivered directly to our room, which made arrival seamless. They have forms for luggage transport themselves that I used for our KIX airport hotel. Service throughout our stay was efficient and professional, and the staff clearly explained all hotel procedures.
The biggest advantage of this property is its location. It is about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Universal Studios Japan, which gives you a real edge if you plan to rope drop. The subway station is directly outside the hotel entrance, making transportation extremely convenient. Universal Citywalk is steps away, with Starbucks, Lawson, Bikkuri Donki (Great for familes by the way), shopping, and countless restaurants all within immediate reach.
If you’re visiting USJ, I strongly recommend arriving at the park entrance by 7:30 a.m. We arrived around 8:30 a.m., and it made the first ride strategy noticeably more challenging. Luckily disability service helped a little as it was similar to Disney when you have to go to the Fast Pass staff to get a return time but USJ uses pen and paper. The earlier you position yourself for rope drop, the smoother your morning will be. Lines were extremely long and we were only able to see half the park. Unless you have 2 days at USJ, I recommend buying the Express pass packages as early as possible as they were all sold out the day of. Definitely a big regret as we only had 1 day there.
The onsen sauna was of an average size. After long park days, it was incredibly relaxing. The baths are separated by gender, and there are no private rentable family spaces, so that’s something to keep in mind if traveling to onsen if you are not comfortable going commando with others.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom felt slightly dated but it was clean and fully functional. One thing I missed was having a small kitchenette and in-room washer/dryer. Laundry is available on the spa floor via coin machines, but in-room units would have been more better.
On our second day, we made a day trip to Ghibli Park in Aichi, which took about 2.5 hours each way via Shinkansen and local transit. It’s doable but long. If your primary focus is Universal Studios Japan, this hotel is an excellent strategic base. If you plan multiple long day trips outside Osaka, you may want something more centrally located. I should have planned a day to stay at Nagoya for my Ghibli Park day.
Overall, The Singulari is ideal for travelers prioritizing proximity to Universal Studios Japan, easy transit access (but not centrally located), and post-park relaxation in a quality onsen setting.

HHeiressjloThe room itself is well maintained and the facilities are common basic ones that I need as a solo female traveler. It a 5 minute walk to Juso Station and a lot of convenience store around. They have a coin laundry machine as well so it was easier to wash clothes when I needed it. All additional things that you need such as toiletries are also readily available at the lobby area. And the best part was the free breakfast!
