Renovated in 2025, the Hotel Poco Seongsu is a great choice for accommodation in Seoul. With Wangsimni Station just 3km away and Gimpo International Airport only 23km away, transportation is very convenient. Just a short walk from Seongsu Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. Seeing Seoul's sights from this hotel is easy with Hangang River, The Man Alive: Choice and Seoul Forest Park all close by. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. For guests traveling with groups of friends, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

This is my second time revisit this hotel because of the excellent location. The hygiene was good and great responsiveness of the front desk staff.
However, it’s quite a different experience compared to my first visit last January where amenities (like toothbrushes) and post check out luggage keeping service are provided. Many of the services are now being charged or travellers need to seek other alternatives (if the luggage lockers are full, you need to go to the station or currency exchange centres for services). I can understood the rationale behind but it was not as satisfied as my last visit. Overall it’s still a good option if you are looking for accommodation in seongsu

I stayed for four nights, and if you're just looking to sleep, this is the best value for money. Everything is available and the staff is very friendly. Transportation is also very convenient. It's located between Ttukseom Station and Seoul Forest Station, so you can take the Suin-Bundang Line or Line 2 as needed. There are all the stores you need nearby.
The only downside is the lack of an elevator. This won't be an issue for those with light luggage.

Highly recommend this super clean guesthouse! The owner (a Korean auntie) is incredibly kind and lovely, very welcoming. Although the room is small, it's very spacious and clean. They provide cups of ice for making coffee. The bus stop is just a minute's walk away, with buses going directly to Seongsudong subway station. You can start shopping just across the street (delicious fig cake is a 3-minute walk from Seongsudong subway station). The guesthouse's location is fantastic; you can take bus 6013 from the airport directly to Konkuk University station! Must-try egg tarts, salt bread, fig cake 🍰, and pudding toast 🍞 are all in Seongsudong. It's a great place to shop and very comfortable.

The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the subway exit. However, it's another 5 minutes from the subway exit to the turnstiles.
There's a large shopping mall nearby with plenty of restaurants, which is very convenient.
Check-in is not until 6 PM.
There's free unlimited water supply.
The main issue with the room was the abundance of drain flies; they kept appearing throughout my 5-night stay.
The bathtub wasn't properly cleaned; there were still powder traces from the previous guest's bath bomb.
Many areas in the room were dusty and neglected in terms of cleaning.
The room was quite small, and with two wooden chairs and a table, it felt very cramped.
Aside from the main door, there was another door inside the room.
If I visit Korea again, I'll look for a hotel in a different location before deciding whether to stay here again.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! It's really luxurious and easy to find, located on the side of the building. It's about a seven-minute walk from Dongdaemun or Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, just follow the directions on Naver Maps. There are lots of shops nearby, especially towards Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, but it doesn't feel chaotic; I, as a solo female traveler, felt very safe. On the ground floor, there's a concierge who was very warm and polite, guiding me to the 14th floor for check-in. The lobby on the 14th floor is spacious, with several staff members, including some who speak Chinese. There's also a photo booth and a convenience store in the lobby. The room was huge! And it even had a bathtub! It was spotless, and the entire hotel smelled lovely. The cleaning lady was super cute and pretty, haha. I really enjoyed my stay, but there are two minor drawbacks, in my opinion. Firstly, the hairdryer's airflow was a bit weak, which wasn't very comfortable to use. Secondly, the soundproofing wasn't amazing, but it didn't disturb my sleep, so it was fine overall.

Great hotel, it's clean, in a good location, has a bar/restaurant inside but not included in price. They do give you a discount if you're staying at the hotel, the service is good and everyone is nice. The only thing that made me give it 4 stars is the old sheets they use, they need to buy new ones, the ones in my room look thined out from constant use and wash, they have that old look and loss of color. In this case the white sheets get darker in certain areas where it's thined out. No breakfast but they have lunch and dinner so you can choose if you eat there or somewhere else which is a nice option to have. The food and drinks I had at the restaurant were delicious, overall good hotel stayed 5 nights at a reasonable value.

The room was quite small; with a small round table and two chairs, it felt very cramped, especially on the side where it was right up against the bed, making it impossible to get out of bed from that side. Cleaning and water were provided daily. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, but it's a straight road and still quite convenient. The bathroom door lock was broken; I accidentally locked myself in twice and had to use the disposable comb provided in the bathroom to open it both times. There aren't many restaurants nearby, but it's relatively easy to get to Seongsu from here.

GGuest UserThe room matched the pictures perfectly; it was a bit small but clean, hygienic, and well-equipped. We arrived at night on the first day, and by the second day, we discovered there was plenty to explore around the hotel. It's located near Anguk Station, and from the hotel's floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see Jogyesa Temple. Gyeongbokgung Palace is right across the street, diagonally opposite the traffic light from the hotel entrance. There are also many new perfume shops and bakeries nearby. You can search on Xiaohongshu for more details. I even took a photo of the hotel lobby. The hotel has a dedicated luggage storage area, which is very convenient and thoughtful. Many locals stay here too.

It's only a three to five-minute walk from Myeongdong Subway Station. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Even though it's in a bustling shopping area, it's not noisy at all at night.

FFengquanThe location is excellent, but the service was disappointing. A few issues worth noting:
1. Entrance Downlight
The entrance downlight automatically turns off after a few seconds. This becomes frustrating when trying to use the mirror, as the light repeatedly switches off and you have to walk toward the sensor each time to reactivate it.
2. Microwave Request
There is no microwave in the room. When we called to request one to heat up food (we were staying on Level 14), the staff asked us to go down to Level 7 (Lobby). After reaching the lobby, we were then told to follow them back up to Level 14 to use a staff lounge microwave. Since they already knew we were calling from Level 14, it would have made more sense to ask us to meet there directly.
3. Additional Toilet Paper Request
On the first day of our Seoul stay, my partner experienced food poisoning after having KBBQ nearby and had diarrhea and vomiting throughout the day. When we requested additional toilet paper, we were told to go down to the lobby to collect it ourselves. This will never happen in Japan.
4. Air Conditioning Issue
The ceiling air conditioning was not functioning. When we called to check, we were told it was no longer operational, and the initial suggestion was to open the window. However, the air quality index was around 300 at the time. A cooling fan was eventually offered, but the initial lack of awareness regarding the air quality was concerning.
Overall, while the location is very convenient, the service standards did not meet expectations.

GGuest UserYhe hotel is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Euljiro 3 Station. There is also an airport limousine service that stops at a nearby hotel (Hotel Kukdo at Euljiro 4), which is about a 5-minute walk away. There is also a 24 hr minimart in the hotel, which is great.
The room amenities are well-equipped, including a washing machine, a small dryer, and a cooking stove with an oven. However, the bed is relatively small and positioned against the wall, which makes it somewhat uncomfortable.

YYengBOur family had a wonderful stay at Sollago Myeongdong Hotel. The room was very spacious and perfect for a family. It had two separate rooms, each with a double bed, plus two single beds in the living room. It fit our family of five very comfortably.
The unit was well equipped with a washer, smart TV, microwave, ref/freezer, and smart bidet, which made our stay easy and stress free—especially for a longer trip.
The location is a big plus. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk to the subway and bus stops (Chungmuro), making it very convenient to get around Seoul. There is also a convenience store right downstairs, and many local Korean restaurants nearby, so food was never a problem.
Btw, it’s a self check-in/out hotel. Very modern indeed!
Overall, this hotel is a great choice for families who want space, comfort, and easy access to transport. We would gladly stay here again.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is conveniently located near exits 4 and 5 of Seoul Station, which have direct elevators, making it super easy for those with large luggage! The rumors about homeless people near exits 7 and 8 are true, but I didn't encounter any issues, and since those exits only have stairs, I just avoided them entirely. It felt perfectly safe, so no worries there.
The biggest advantage of staying here is its proximity to the Airport Express and train lines. It's just a five-minute walk, which is incredibly convenient! Plus, Seoul Station has a Lotte Mart, so it's perfect for buying lots of groceries and carrying them straight back to your room.
You enter on the first floor and take the elevator directly up to the front desk on the second floor. The restaurant on the first floor has a lovely ambiance, especially in winter. The room itself wasn't large, but anyone who's traveled to Japan or Korea will understand that. Overall, it was clean, tidy, and quiet. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip!

If you arrive late, you don't have to worry because they'll leave your room card there for you to pick up. However, if you're concerned about your belongings, you might want to buy a lock at Daiso, as they don't provide one!
