Holiday Inn Melbourne Bourke Street Mall by IHG ★★★★
"The location of this hotel is fantastic. We felt very secured at night as there are no access to the mall after 8:30pm and only hotel guests are able to access. Services are really great and staff are friendly and helpful. Room is a bit smaller but very new and clean."
Great Southern Hotel Melbourne ★★★★
"Great value for money, convenient location with easy access to transportation. It's close to the riverside park and the aquarium. St. Paul's Church is also within a 20-minute walk. The soundproofing could be a bit better though."
Essence Hotel Carlton ★★★
"Great location and grear facilities"

"Coming back from Sydney, I chose to stay at Brady again. The front desk staff kindly gave me a room on a higher floor, which significantly improved the view. The room no longer felt small, and my overall experience was much better because of it."

"It's close to the sea and the environment is okay. The bar upstairs can be a bit noisy."
Crowne Plaza MELBOURNE by IHG
"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The views are incredible, and the room felt quite spacious. They even have a kids' playroom with race cars, which was a lot of fun! It was definitely one of the best hotel experiences we had on this trip to Australia. We managed to snag a coupon too, so it was a great deal!"

"The location was fantastic, close to so many things like restaurants, palais threatre, other attractions. The staff are very nice, professional and welcoming. The hotel is very nice, with a central lounge for comfort"
Roamer St Kilda
"It's a pretty standard hostel. It was quite difficult to get through when there was a lot of luggage in the hallway. However, the staff were kind, and considering the price, I'm satisfied."
The Hotel Windsor
"Tremendous service and experience, as always. Room 417 is lovely and quiet, even though it is only steps away from the lifts. No views (window faces into courtyard) but when you're that close to Treasury Gardens and Spring Street, it's delightful to be able to shut out the world and relax in your cozy den."

Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport
"I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Westmeadows for the second time and once again I wasn't disappointed. The whole process was seamless, from choosing my standard of room to phoning them on my arrival at Melbourne airport and phoning for their complementary shuttle bus service I had a 10 minute wait for the nice shuttle bus driver and when you arrive at reception after a 5 minute trip you are greeted by the most friendly team. My room poolside was absolutely spotless and had everything I needed for the night. It was also very quiet despite being close to a busy road. I had buffet breakfast which had a good selection plus surprisingly good coffee from a little machine. I had a very pleasant chat with the lovely lady who runs the buffet. Just a quick 5 minute walk up the road are a few good eateries and a little further along a couple of fast food places. I really can't fault the place or the staff and confidently recommend it to anyone wanting the convenience of a place to stay close to the airport at a good price."
Avani Melbourne Central Residences
"The location is fantastic, very close to Queen Victoria Market with easy access to all types of transport. They even upgraded us to a 2-bedroom suite for free! The living room is a bit small, but the kitchen is well-equipped. The only downsides were the very limited tissues and laundry detergent."
Arrow on Swanston
"- Hotel advertises FREE coffee for 5 star Google reviews - Hotel denies this is offered on Google review (photo below proves otherwise) - Multiple failures in accommodation standards, maintenance, fire safety, security, and staff conduct. Requesting senior management contact. Trip.com messages, Emails and calls to Hotel have failed to date. - Attempted to contact Front Office and Hotel Management 5+ times during stay, at checkout, and after departure. No meaningful response received. - Booked Deluxe One Room Apartment with Sofa Bed for three people. On arrival, sofa bed was not made. Linen and pillows had to be requested from reception and waited for. - Sofa bed linen provided was visibly stained (multiple fluid marks) and torn but smelled clean. No mattress topper provided; timber supports (2" wide in centre of sofa bed) protruded, making it unfit for use and causing discomfort and physical pain. - Bathroom issues: towel rail repeatedly detached from wall (reported, no action taken. since found to be a common fault reviewed by other guests on various platforms including. TA). Floor tiles beneath were chipped/cracked with sharp edges, posing injury risk. - Smoke alarm (Model 3786M5) showed solid Red + Green lights throughout stay (per manual indicates inoperable/disconnected/faulty unit). Reported multiple times; no inspection completed after promises made. - Finally advised maintenance unavailable until after public holiday; no room change offered. - Car park pedestrian access door (adjacent to garage door in back alleyway) inoperative entire stay until day of check-out; magnetic lock non-functional, leaving access unsecured. - Prior to arrival, secure parking was confirmed available by phone - due to transporting of high-value stock for event. - During stay, non-guests were observed moving freely through parking levels, one with a pushbike on upper levels beyond bike locker floor. - Booking extension: Receptionist "Sushi" advised 10:00am reception rule but confirmed 1:00pm acceptable if extension completed and key reprogrammed same day. Extension completed via Trip.com at reception. - 1:00pm next day, Sushi denied prior arrangement, became confrontational and belligerent, referenced “200–300 guests dealt with per day”, demanded both bookings be presented so as to treat them individually and not as an extension as advised day prior, stated we should have checked out and re-checked into same room. - CCTV screenshot image of me observed on reception screen during Sunday interaction with Sushi; I took a photo of the same (below), screen content then closed by Sushi. I couldn't have been nicer given the circumstances and wasn't hostile back. Key handover included key being pushed across counter jammed between monitor, glass wall and POS machine after reprocessing by Sushi. - Night staff confirmed audio/video recording exists in reception (recommended for review) when discussing earlier confrontation. - Room 3919 is not fit for safe habitation and should be withdrawn form service immediately"
Pegasus Apart'Hotel
"The hotel's location is great, very close to the meeting points for both the Great Ocean Road and Phillip Island tours. It's also in the city center, right next to a large Woolworths supermarket where you can buy steaks to cook yourself. The only downside is that the internet can be a bit spotty sometimes."
Vibe Hotel Melbourne Docklands
"This was a great hotel to stay in Melbourne city! The views of the water are incredible and the location was super easy to get anyway. Breakfast is a good option too!"
Kimberley Gardens Hotel, Serviced Apartments and Serviced Townhouses
"Clean and easy to check in .. safe and easy access"
1 Hotel Melbourne
"This is a great hotel! The room layout was well-designed, separating the living and sleeping areas nicely. The river flowing peacefully right by the hotel was a lovely touch. Waking up to the curtains opening in the morning and seeing that view really started my day off right. I'm so glad I booked this hotel; I had such a wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable vacation here."
