"The hotel is in a quiet street but still very close to all the main attractions. Our housekeepers, Lynn and Yalina, were so helpful and sweet. They helped us contact drivers last minute when we couldn’t get a DiDi, buy attraction tickets and were very accommodating to even our small requests. The view from our hotel room in building 8 were gorgeous and the hotel room was well stocked with snacks and very clean. We would stay here again if we came back to Yangshuo! The hotel also gave us a complimentary photoshoot. Our photographer Xiao Mo took gorgeous photos for us and they looked great even with no editing."

"Very cute hotel. They have two buildings - A is the historical styled and B is a standard hotel. Breakfast is in the lobby of building B and includes Rice noodles, sweet potato, egg and soy milk. The owner speaks some English but like many places, it might be easier to use WeChat. Through Wechat they were very attentive and asked us if we wanted more water or when we would be out so they could clean the room. The location is good as it is decently outside of Yangshuo main town and it feels more normal. There are small houses and restaurants around with farm animals. We were able to hire an e-scooter from the lady next to the entrance for 40 RMB which allowed us to continue onto the Shili gallery"

It's a serene escape from the bustling city, where simply sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea, lost in thought, feels like stepping into a painting. It’s an off-the-beaten-path gem, perfect for stunning photos. The cleanliness is impeccable. The bedding and towels are pristine white, soft, and odorless. The bathroom is immaculately dry with excellent dry-wet separation. Every nook and cranny, from floor drains to wall corners and toilet crevices, is spotless. The bathrobes and slippers are individually sealed and sterilized, and even the disposable toothbrush bristles are soft and gentle on the gums. The room also features a pleasant botanical aroma, making for a truly comfortable and reassuring stay—the attention to detail is evident. The amenities are comprehensive and practical, easily rivaling those of a star-rated hotel. The complete tea set and high-definition projector show a deep understanding of what vacationers need. Enjoying a pot of tea while gazing at the mountain view is incredibly relaxing. The common areas are an even greater delight. The pool water is crystal clear, beautiful even if you're not swimming. The elegant tea room allows for self-service tea brewing, and the book bar has enough titles to keep you entertained during downtime. The small bar in the evening has an incredible ambiance; the signature cocktails are refreshing and not too strong, perfect for a cozy chat with friends. Some room types even offer private hot tubs, pre-sterilized and temperature-adjusted by the butler. Breakfast features rich and flavorful Guilin rice noodles, freshly steamed corn buns, and healthy multigrain porridge—a warm and wholesome start to the day. What truly won me over was the heartfelt service. There was no stiff formality, just perfectly pitched warmth. Upon arrival, the butler promptly greeted us, helped with luggage, offered a warm welcome tea, and patiently explained check-in procedures and on-site facilities. The proprietress was incredibly down-to-earth; knowing we wanted to find unique photo spots, she specifically directed us to lesser-known viewpoints and shared routes to avoid crowds, even pointing out local snack stalls—she held nothing back. When my friend had an upset stomach midway through our stay, the front desk immediately provided medicine and hot water, and the kitchen specially prepared millet porridge, which was incredibly touching. Each morning and evening, they would remind us about the weather and suggest appropriate clothing. Upon check-out, they not only helped carry our luggage to the car but also left us with a strong sense of human warmth. Yayuan truly excels in every aspect—scenery, hygiene, facilities, food, and service. It's not just a place to stay, but a warm, cozy haven where you can truly relax. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Yangshuo. Go for it; you won't regret it and you'll never forget your stay!"

"The location is fantastic, right across from the West Street entrance, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is new, clean, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a very quiet night's sleep. They even have mahjong and hot tubs for some leisure time, and the rooftop restaurant offers panoramic views of West Street. The service is exceptional; the staff are incredibly attentive, helpful, and friendly – truly amazing! The hotel lobby also offers discounted tickets to local attractions, which is both economical and convenient. For those traveling independently, you can rent an electric scooter from the hotel for 30 yuan a day, making exploring the surrounding area hassle-free."

"Had a fantastic stay, the room had an incredible view with stunning sunsets! I highly recommend checking out the 'Sky Mirror' spot on the top floor, it's perfect for photos. The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to the pier, making it easy to catch the Yulong River bamboo rafts. Popular attractions like the Ten-Mile Gallery and Guilin Eternal Love are all nearby. You can also rent electric bikes directly from the hotel, which is definitely the best way to explore Yangshuo. Everything was super comfortable, and the staff were incredibly nice. Highly recommended!"

"I brought my mom to Yangshuo this time and we stayed at the Fa Dai Hotel. The hotel environment is excellent, and it's the only one in Yangshuo with hot springs. Overall, the experience was fantastic. The service was warm and thoughtful, and the facilities were complete. We also tried the hotel's travel photography service. The photographer was very professional; even though it was raining during the shoot, the Guilin landscape is even more beautiful in the rain. The misty mountains and rivers truly made it feel like we were living in a wonderland. It was stunning and produced many great photos. I'm very satisfied and have kept many of the pictures, which are very commemorative."

"Clean and tidy, warm service, great value for money! The value for money here is incredible! The room was spotless, the bathroom had no strange odors, and all the toiletries were provided. The service was exceptionally thoughtful; they were responsive to all our requests from check-in to check-out, making us feel as warm as if we were with friends. The guesthouse's location is very close to the core area of Yulong River Scenic Area, making it convenient for getting around. You can stay comfortably without spending a fortune. I genuinely recommend it to anyone vacationing in Yangshuo!"

"Overall, it was pretty good and I was mostly satisfied. My only minor issue was on our departure day: after breakfast, we were getting ready to pack up the kids, and they were already preparing the room for the next guest. Check-out is at 12 PM, and we still had our key card. Does packing up mean we've automatically checked out? Without even asking at the front desk? I'm not one to make a fuss, so I just left since the cleaning staff had already mostly tidied up – it's a tough job, and it wasn't worth causing a scene. Everything else was fine, except breakfast was a bit too simple. There weren't any stir-fried dishes. Adding one or two stir-fries would be better, especially for kids."

"The service was excellent, very warm and attentive. The surrounding environment is beautiful, serene, and quiet, making for a comfortable stay. You can walk to the Li River bank in about 15 minutes to enjoy the scenery."
