Jeju City Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"Pros: Front desk staff were helpful and spoke good English. The hotel room was spacious enough for opening suitcases. Bathroom was nice, had countertop space. Lots of countertop space in the room as well. Fridge. Hangers and wardrobe space for coats. Ocean view was worth it, especially watching the sunrise on our balcony. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was especially impressive and worth it - they even had a bibimbap station and jeju orange juice. Wish they had clearer labeling on what is vegetarian and vegan - but it is Korea. Quick taxi drive from the airport. Location was good for anyone looking to do bus tours in Jeju, as most of the pickup locations were nearby. Cons: Pillow was a bit flat. You can kinda see the person showering even if the blinds are drawn but you really have to be looking - just something to be mindful of."

"This was my first trip abroad, and safety was a big concern, so I looked at a lot of places. I finally settled on this one. At first, I thought the price was a bit high, but it really turned out to be great. First off, when checking in, I'd seen reviews saying the front desk service wasn't good. However, all three staff members I interacted with over these two days (two young women – one with excellent Chinese, one with a little Chinese – and one young man with average Chinese) had fantastic attitudes and provided great service. When we left, they even helped us call a taxi. Next, the room was very similar to the all-season hotels I stay in back home, with a minimalist wooden style and excellent cleanliness. Since we stayed two days, we requested cleaning on the second day, and when we returned in the afternoon, it was spotless. As for the location, this hotel is right on a major intersection, which is incredibly convenient. Five steps out of the hotel entrance, you can see UC diagonally to your right, and Shilla Duty Free diagonally to your left. About twenty steps to the left, across from Shilla, there's a bus stop. KFC is right next to the hotel entrance on the left. There are tons of snack shops nearby. There are also three ABC stores (one of which had super cheap shoes on discount, and two that didn't, the closest ones), and several Olive Young stores, both big and small. I'm getting sidetracked! Anyway, in short, the location, service, and room cleanliness were all excellent. If any of my friends are planning to visit, I'd definitely recommend they stay here, even if the price is a bit high. "The hotel's location is a bit inconvenient for major attractions, but the bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. There's also a great coffee machine with good coffee in the lobby. We had a room with a sea view and thoroughly enjoyed it. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Overall, the value for money is excellent."

"We stayed in a double plus single bed room facing the airport/ocean. It was a lovely view. Check in and check were both pretty smooth. Room size is okay for small family. Bathroom comes air heated bidet which is appreciative during cold months. The bed were very comfortable and we have a very restful night. Location is seems to be surrounded by lots of restaurants catered to PRC tourists. Even walking on the street feels like we are in China. Shops like Innisfree and Olive Young are just steps away from the entrance. It makes a good airport hotel as the drive is only 15mins. Hotel also provides free airport shuttle stating from 7am."

"Located near Hamdeok Beach, the off-season price was great. The hotel is tucked away in an alley and has a parking tower, but there aren't many flat parking spaces and they're hard to get. There's a free public parking lot not too far away. The front desk staff were very friendly and explained how to use the parking facilities. The breakfast was a highlight – clean, hygienic, and with a diverse selection. Even though there was only one person working in the restaurant during the off-season, she was always smiling, which brightened my mood! The room was large, but the design lacked a bit of privacy (perhaps suitable for couples). The toilet area with a clear glass partition was a bit awkward. There were no hangers provided in the room, and the power outlets were strangely placed and blocked by furniture. The sink was designed too low – I don't know who designed it, but they should be fired. Overall, staff/breakfast get 5 stars, location 4, and room amenities/design 3. It would still be a good choice if visiting in the summer."

"The ambiance here is fantastic, and they even provide kitchenware, which was a nice touch. The service was excellent – they even went the extra mile to help us order food delivery. The property is conveniently located, making it absolutely perfect for a family trip. My family really enjoyed the little garden, and the amenities provided were comprehensive. Plus, getting a taxi was super easy."

"The hotel is on the outskirts of town and it is difficult to get a taxi during certain times of the day. The pool is closed after August eventhough this is not stated anywhere on their booking information. Eventhough there was two of us in a room, they only gave us one big towel, even when we would go and get one from reception, the cleaners would take it away the next day. I think this hotel is okay if you have a car but not what we had in mind really."

"Second time staying at this hotel. The sea view room offers a great view, especially on a clear day. For the price, it's really excellent value for money. There's a bus stop right downstairs and a CU convenience store, making it quite convenient overall. Getting to the airport or city by taxi is also easy, perfect for those who enjoy a slower-paced trip. Worth mentioning is their fried chicken – it's absolutely delicious! Make sure to eat it while it's hot; it's incredibly, incredibly tender. Highly recommend!"

"Our group of five (two families) spent 7 days in Jeju, staying at two hotels, and this was the first one we checked into. The hotel's location isn't ideal; it's about a 20-minute walk to Hamdeok Beach. On the plus side, there's a BHC fried chicken restaurant and a CU convenience store right next door. We were quite satisfied with the hotel's cleanliness and facilities; it was spotless and well-maintained. However, to be honest, we were quite dissatisfied with the front desk service. No matter what the issue was, their immediate reaction seemed to be to say no. It felt as if they might have perceived us as being overly demanding Chinese guests. For example, in my sister's family's room, the toilet wouldn't flush in the morning (note: their toilets here are electronic with automatic flushing). When we contacted the front desk, they informed us that maintenance staff wouldn't be on duty until 11 AM, so the issue couldn't be addressed until then. Since everyone needed to use the restroom that morning, we kept pressing for a solution. Eventually, the front desk staff consulted with a nearby cleaning lady. The cleaning lady then simply turned around, picked up a plunger (which was conveniently located right next to the front desk, implying this is a common issue), and fixed the toilet in a matter of seconds."
