Spa Hotels in Tianjin

The location is excellent, right by the Haihe River, and it's also where many of Tianjin's modern foreign banks are concentrated, most of which are still banks today. It's quiet and not crowded. The decor is typically British, especially the lobby, which is elegant and luxurious. The room decor is also lovely, feeling as cozy as home. It's impressive that they've maintained such high standards after being open for over a decade! However, the facilities are overly simplistic. There isn't even a tissue box in the bedroom. For a top hotel in Tianjin, they don't even offer a single fruit. Isn't that a bit stingy? How much do a few pieces of fruit cost? The main issue is there's no place to buy fruit within a kilometer, not even a supermarket. The service, on the whole, is very good. Most staff greet you, and they respond quickly. But I did encounter a very unpleasant incident. When taking a taxi from Tianjin Station to the hotel, the GPS destination was an apartment building. I got out and asked the security guard how to get to the hotel lobby. The young man was extremely rude. I asked him if he was a hotel employee, and he initially denied it. I even apologized and asked him where I was. He then reluctantly said it was the Ritz. I told him, as a hotel employee, how could he have such an attitude towards a guest asking for directions? He didn't dare to answer.

I went to the aircraft carrier park to see the fireworks. It was too late. I decided to stay for one night. Ctrip set 215 yuan/room. The hotel front desk price was 405 yuan/night/room. I chose the viewing room, no window, no breakfast. The big bed is very high and soft. The room was clean and tidy, with coffee and tea, 2 bottles of water, fruit, slippers, toothbrushes, towels, combs, soap. There are also star lights, which is quite surprising. The toilet is electric. If you order a meal, there will be robots sent to the door. The TV has not been selected to cable TV, choose free movies to watch, the TV is very big. Overall it's good. PS takeaway box lunch, give a lot, too scary.

First time in Tianjin, and Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) said I *had* to stay at the Shangri-La. They mentioned the front desk was a bit slow and service wasn't always up to par. Also, that the hotel facilities were a bit old, or rather, more than a 'bit'. Turns out, they were spot on! Haha. My room wasn't ready even by 3 PM. Apparently, I was supposed to be on the 25th floor, but they wanted to put me on the 15th. I said I'd wait, and I was willing to. Thankfully, a manager intervened and got me a room on the 30th floor. That's more like it. **Facilities:** The room had all the amenities, but it definitely had a vintage feel (meaning it was a bit old). The toilet, however, had been upgraded to a smart bidet seat, which was a big plus! For a room costing over a thousand yuan, the provided baby crib was really disappointing. Just not good. **Hygiene:** The hygiene was excellent. My baby had a bowel movement, and after I sealed it in a black bag and placed it outside the door, it was immediately taken away. The only downside was just before bed, when I showered, the shower room had a strong smell of smoke. Felt like my hair was clean for nothing. **Environment:** It's right by the Hai River, so the night view is stunning. Downstairs, there's a Kerry Parkside mall, but there are so many concrete barriers that it's impossible to get a stroller through. **Service:** If you don't drink the coffee, they'll just keep stocking it. I tried the 285 buffet, and it was decent. The Chinese restaurant, however, was a mess. The 'White Jade Bitter Gourd' (which looked perfect in the picture) came out looking like a plate of pickles, and for 68 yuan, it completely lacked presentation. The 'snowflake beef' was all fat and oil. The 'seafood rice soup' looked like fried dough sticks in soup, totally different from the picture. The claypot rice had no crispy bottom and was very loose. The only good thing was the prawns, which were better than those at Xiaohongfang, but at 388 yuan per jin, they were also expensive!

What I loved most about my stay was the hotel bedding – the comfort level was absolutely top-notch. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm, conforming perfectly to my back and waist without any sagging or uncomfortable pressure points. They provided two types of pillows, both at an ideal height, so my neck didn't get stiff even after lying down for a long time. The duvet cover and sheets were soft, skin-friendly, clean, and odor-free, with a fine, breathable fabric that kept me feeling fresh and cool all night. The room's blackout curtains worked wonderfully, and combined with the comfy bedding, I slept straight through till morning. Facilities like the bathroom and lighting were well-maintained, clean, and functional; the attention to detail was impressive. Overall, the living experience was incredibly relaxing, and all my fatigue vanished. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely prioritize this hotel for my next trip. I highly recommend it to anyone who values a good night's sleep.

I stayed here two years ago and my family and I were very satisfied. My birthday happened to fall on a weekend, and I saw that the hotel had a special package, so I brought my family back to celebrate my birthday with a staycation! It was another very satisfying stay. Because we had executive lounge access, we experienced the afternoon tea and light dinner at the executive lounge, both of which were excellent. The ingredients were high-quality, the preparation was professional, and the taste was great! The breakfast selection was very rich, with many Tianjin local specialties worth trying! The pool is still fantastic, and the changing rooms are well-equipped, making for a great experience! The hotel's service is even more top-notch. When checking in, Jingle (Xiao Zhu) was very enthusiastic in helping coordinate our room and providing assistance, and was always responsive to our subsequent requests – very professional, highly recommend! The executive lounge, breakfast restaurant, and room service staff were all very enthusiastic and professional, actively greeting us and promptly responding to our needs! I'm very satisfied with the Four Seasons Hotel; it's our first choice when visiting Tianjin!

Hygiene: Very good, everything was clean. Environment: Nice, very convenient for getting around. Service: Every staff member was patient, meticulous, and enthusiastic. The parking attendant outside the lobby was also very thoughtful. Couples Hot Spring: The hot spring and pool were great. The water temperature of all the pools was satisfactory. One of the pools had excellent bubble massage that really helped relieve fatigue. Breakfast: The pancakes were super delicious, and there were many other varieties as well. The noodles were good, and the fried dough sticks were freshly made (though I didn't try them, they looked good). The breakfast restaurant had a great atmosphere. Originally, breakfast was supposed to end at 10 AM, but the staff thoughtfully reminded us that they extended it by half an hour, closing at 10:30 AM. It's about an hour and 40 minutes from Beijing, roughly 120 kilometers. The drive was smooth with no traffic. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance. I didn't take photos of the room interior, but it was all good. The bathroom was quite large and very clean.

The front desk lady is warm and professional, and problems are solved at any time. The cleaning sister's room is cleaned every day, and the accommodation conditions in the industrial park are convenient and fast.

The room was spacious, a one-bedroom suite to be exact, with plenty of room for my child to run around without feeling cramped. It came with a washer and dryer, which was incredibly practical for a family trip – dirty clothes went straight from wash to dry. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; it was very quiet at night, ensuring we weren't disturbed. Plus, with a full set of kitchen equipment, we could easily prepare meals for the little one anytime. It's truly a hassle-free choice for families.

Check-in was quick, the service staff was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to take me to the room, which was very considerate. The room facilities are complete, the toiletries are of good quality, and the price/performance ratio is very good.

We checked into the Tuanbo Lake Hotspring Resort & Spa for one night, as we wanted to see if it's suitable for future visits. We enjoyed our stay so much, and decided to extended our stay with another night. The Resort is devided into two sections, with the Villa Style Hotspring Rooms on one end, and the Private Hotspring in Room ”House Soup”, on the other end. We stayed at the ”House Soup” section, during this visit, as we wanted to enjoy our own private Hotspring in room. Service received from all staff members were good, and they were all very courteous and efficient. They were courtesy enough, to show us the Villa's as well. The room was well prepared upon our arrive, and our room was decorated (Romantic Theme), as requested. The Resort is a short drive out of the City, and it's advisable to allow ample time during your stay. I will not recommend staying here, for one night only, but rather for a few nights if possible. We will most definitely return, and spend more time here during longer holidays or time of work. I can recommend this establishment to all future guests, foreign or domestic.
