DixiaodiBecause I've been quite fond of the Ritz's little lion recently 🦁, I decided to arrange a weekend trip to the Tianjin Ritz. It happened to be our anniversary, so I booked a room in advance. After booking, the hotel called to discuss our needs. Knowing it was our anniversary, they even decorated the room a bit and sent a small cake. Since the hotel was quite busy that day, we weren't given a free room upgrade.
We booked the Ritz Kids' Wild Exploration room, which is essentially a deluxe king room with a tent package. If you book a deluxe king room, you can add the tent (with the little lion backpack and toy) for an extra 300+ RMB. The kids absolutely loved it, and the tent was big enough for an adult to sleep in comfortably. If it were a suite, the tent would be the pointed-top one 🏕️.
We were checked in by Mandy at the front desk, who was beautiful, kind, and meticulous in her service. After checking in, we exchanged WeChat details for easier communication; her service was warm and thoughtful. I feel like every staff member at the Ritz is enthusiastic and friendly, and the ladies are all very gentle. ❤️❤️
The overall environment is fantastic, and it's great for taking photos. You can customize your room key card; if you provide a simple sketch, they can put it on the card, and you can take it with you when you check out – a wonderful travel souvenir.
The only minor drawback was a slight smell in the hallway, possibly due to humidity, like a mix of carpet and wood. It wasn't in the room, just in the hallway. The turndown service gift was just a small rose tea bag, which felt a bit underwhelming. Also, the hotel doesn't have a dedicated play area for children, and the children's toothbrush quality wasn't great, with some bristles falling out. But these are minor issues that don't detract from the overall experience. I would still choose the Ritz next time I come to Tianjin!

ShuibashuiyanmeiWhat I loved most about my stay was the hotel bedding – the comfort level was absolutely top-notch. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm, conforming perfectly to my back and waist without any sagging or uncomfortable pressure points. They provided two types of pillows, both at an ideal height, so my neck didn't get stiff even after lying down for a long time. The duvet cover and sheets were soft, skin-friendly, clean, and odor-free, with a fine, breathable fabric that kept me feeling fresh and cool all night. The room's blackout curtains worked wonderfully, and combined with the comfy bedding, I slept straight through till morning. Facilities like the bathroom and lighting were well-maintained, clean, and functional; the attention to detail was impressive. Overall, the living experience was incredibly relaxing, and all my fatigue vanished. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely prioritize this hotel for my next trip. I highly recommend it to anyone who values a good night's sleep.

Rooms: We traveled with our child and stayed in the Executive Suite. The room was quite spacious, over 90 square meters, with two separate bathrooms and shower rooms, which was very convenient for our family of three to shower separately after swimming. The king-size bed was also very comfortable and soft. The large round table in front of the floor-to-ceiling window was perfect for eating takeout or for our child to do homework, and the view was excellent.
Food: Breakfast offered a rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes. The specialty pancakes were delicious, and the wontons, noodles, and various egg dishes were also good. Both the cold and hot dishes were tasty, and we always ate too much at breakfast. The food at the Executive Lounge was even better, with free-flowing cocktails. Enjoying a drink in the evening while looking at the night view was a wonderful experience.
Pool: The water was very clean, and there were two lanes. Besides hotel guests, there were also children from outside taking swimming lessons, so it was quite crowded during the summer. I recommend swimming in the morning or during mealtimes when there are fewer people. In addition to the pool, there was also a very comfortable massage pool, which our child thoroughly enjoyed.
Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous. From the detailed reminders at the front desk during check-in, to the housekeeping staff who proactively replenished our needs (they even provided children's toiletries before we asked), and the prompt responses from the staff at the Executive Lounge and Chinese restaurant. When we called the front desk for additional items (mineral water, children's bathrobes), they were delivered within 10 minutes. The doorman was also very friendly, and the room hygiene was impeccable (even for a clean freak like me, I was very satisfied). Overall, the service felt well-organized and well-managed, and all the staff members were excellent.
Because we travel with our child, we often choose hotels of similar caliber. We've encountered situations with slow service or staff lacking initiative before. We previously stayed at the Four Seasons in Guangzhou and felt the service was excellent there too. It seems the Four Seasons' overall training is indeed very good. This was a very satisfying trip, and both our child and we were delighted!

Zouba~yizhizailushangHygiene: Very good, everything was clean.
Environment: Nice, very convenient for getting around.
Service: Every staff member was patient, meticulous, and enthusiastic. The parking attendant outside the lobby was also very thoughtful.
Couples Hot Spring: The hot spring and pool were great. The water temperature of all the pools was satisfactory. One of the pools had excellent bubble massage that really helped relieve fatigue.
Breakfast: The pancakes were super delicious, and there were many other varieties as well. The noodles were good, and the fried dough sticks were freshly made (though I didn't try them, they looked good). The breakfast restaurant had a great atmosphere.
Originally, breakfast was supposed to end at 10 AM, but the staff thoughtfully reminded us that they extended it by half an hour, closing at 10:30 AM.
It's about an hour and 40 minutes from Beijing, roughly 120 kilometers. The drive was smooth with no traffic.
I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance.
I didn't take photos of the room interior, but it was all good. The bathroom was quite large and very clean.

Great stay! The hotel is conveniently located near the subway. The front desk contacted me in advance to ask about my needs, and the room had excellent soundproofing. All the amenities were complete, and the hygiene was also good. The freshly ground coffee at breakfast was on point, and there was a wide variety of options. When checking out, the front desk proactively asked if I needed a taxi, showing great attention to detail. I'll definitely come back next time!

Marriott Executive Apartments is our top choice when traveling with kids, and we've stayed at their apartments in other cities before. The rooms here are very spacious, and the facilities are well-maintained. The bedroom has two twin beds, and the living room features a bunk bed with a slide, which our kids absolutely loved. The kitchen is fully equipped with dinnerware, cutlery, a microwave, and a refrigerator, making it very convenient if you want to cook your own meals. There's also a washing machine and dryer; although we didn't do laundry, they were incredibly useful for spin-drying swimsuits after every swim. The only downside was the strong smell from the duvet. You could smell it as soon as you entered the room, and our clothes picked up the odor after using it. Switching to a blanket made a big difference.
The pool was the place we visited most during our stay. Accessible from the 2nd floor, we went three times, and it was never crowded, with fewer than ten people each time. The water temperature was decent; it felt a bit cold when first getting in, but was fine once you started swimming. The changing rooms are also spacious and kept very clean, providing slippers, beach towels, hairdryers, cotton swabs, and hot water – guests just need to bring their swimsuits and caps. Outside the pool is a lawn, and the green view from the window during the day was fantastic.
The hotel service was excellent. Staff actively helped us with doors, and even though we arrived at 11 AM, expecting to wait until the afternoon for a room, the front desk found one available and checked us in immediately. This allowed us to have a nap at lunchtime, which was wonderful. During our stay, requests for children's slippers and blankets were fulfilled very quickly.
