The feeling of home
We did not book dinner and after doing research chose to eat at Golden Lake
Breakfast was OK but also grateful to make the right choice not to be there for dinner
Because the food is more Japanese if you want to eat traditional Japanese cuisine there may be a gap
Between ancient Japanese style and new style hotel design chose this design sense hotel purely because I personally do not like to sleep tatami ground floor
The room space is very large comfortable courtyard and bathroom are done enough privacy
Overall feeling is very good will stay again next time
Self-drive tour in my land so distance is not an issue
The hotel also has a free shuttle service

This onsen hotel exceeded my expectations â it was truly excellent!
First off, every room has its own private onsen, offering complete privacy, so you can enjoy a hot spring bath anytime you like! The hotel environment is beautiful, perfect for taking photos. We were lucky enough to encounter snow, which was the icing on the cake!
What's more, the room was fully equipped and impeccably clean! Since we visited in winter, it was incredibly thoughtful that there were heaters everywhere, even in the bathroom.
We booked the 'one night, two meals' package, and the food was delicious! The dishes were very unique, and you could really feel the restaurant's dedication. Extremely satisfied!
The staff were excellent â friendly and approachable, making me feel right at home.
Regarding transportation, we originally planned to drive, but canceled our car rental due to the weather. We took the train to Yufu Eki, pre-booked the shuttle with the hotel, and arrived in about 10 minutes!
Overall, this is a highly recommended gem of a hotel! I'll definitely be back!

The environment was great, the food was delicious, and everything was perfect. It was also a great way to enjoy the outdoor family hot springs with your partner or spouse. If the weather is nice in the evening, you can even see the stars.

Chu HaerimThe owner and staff were incredibly friendly, which I really appreciated. I was also amazed that the meals offered during our two-night stay were all different, with noéč¤ing ingredients! We could freely use the open-air hot spring right in our private villa, and the family bath was also exclusive to us when in use, ensuring a private and enjoyable experience. The pick-up and drop-off service to Yufuin Station made getting around very convenient, so the accessibility was great. This was my first time staying at a Japanese ryokan, and I truly felt well taken care of. I had such a wonderful and relaxing time that I definitely want to go back!

The staff is super friendly and always greet us with smiles. Helpin us with check-in and photo taking. The room is spacious and cozy.
One thing can improve is about the emergency exit sign. It is too bright.
In brief, we will come again.

Staying at a hot spring ryokan in Yufuin with dinner and breakfast included is so convenient and hassle-free.
Jukaso Hotel in Yufuin was a great choice. The traditional Japanese garden setting creates a wonderful ambiance. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk directly from Yufuin Station, so even with luggage, it's no trouble at all.
I booked a tatami Japanese-style room. It was spacious and clean with excellent natural light. Opening the window revealed mountain views and the greenery of the garden, making it very peaceful and restorative. The amenities were complete, and the double sinks in the bathroom were a thoughtful touch.
The hot springs include both indoor and open-air baths. The water quality was pleasant and clean, and it was quiet with few people in the evening. Soaking in the onsen completely relaxed me.

This hotel is nestled in the mountains, featuring terraced rice fields, which makes for a very relaxing stay. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped; we chose a room type with an indoor onsen bath. The half-board (dinner and breakfast) meals were also good, and I recommend the Japanese-style breakfast. The baths include both indoor and outdoor options, and overall, everything was very comfortable. The only downside was that when we checked in at 4 PM, we were told that the shuttle service for the next day was fully booked, and we'd have to pay for a taxi ourselves (even though there were empty vehicles available). Despite this, I would still highly recommend Hoshino Resorts KAI Yufuin for an experience.

Guest UserWe booked the family room, which can fit 6 people to stay. The room was cozy and clear, and we had our own hot bath that's so lovely.
The facilities in the public hot bath area are well maintained, clear and open.
The breakfast and dinner are dull of supirse. They offering seasonal cuisine menu are definitely mind blow.
The staff are cheerful and helpful. They organizeed all my request and make my family trip unforgettable.

Love private indoor and outdoor onsen the most. Really relax and nice cute villa. Cozy and good quality of bed sheets/blankets. Only a couple points for improvement. No door code being provided in advance prior to the arrival date and I had to make a call in order to get the access code. I canât find the light switch in the dining room. Later find out that it was a remote control to turn it on. No instruction. However, overall I like the house especially the private onsen.

AlexanderhwleeThe onsen and food were excellent. Rooms were also spacious and well laid out. My only complaint is the staff could have been more flexible with their service. For instance, our party had six people spread across three rooms. We could not dine together because the table seating limit was four. So we had to split up the family to accommodate the hotel, instead of the hotel accommodating us. Unfortunately this is sometimes the norm for traveling in Japan.
