"I checked in around 6 PM, and there was a very kind lady at the desk. She seemed Japanese but spoke Korean incredibly well! She helped me with the check-in process, taking my passport photo and reservation details. Check-out was self-service. The location is great, less than a 10-minute walk from Shimbashi Station. I visited on a Saturday evening, and the area is a bit of an entertainment district, so there were a lot of lively people around (I even saw someone peeing on the street, lol). However, as it got later in the evening, the crowds thinned out, and it became surprisingly quiet. Given how bustling the surroundings are, it would be a fun place for friends to hang out. (The hostel itself is tucked away on a side street, so it's quiet). You need a password to enter your floor. I used a personal locker, and it was so quiet I wondered if anyone else was there, haha. There are also lockers with locks underneath, so I could store my luggage. It seems many women travel alone and stay here. The basement showers are really, really clean, with about 10 individual stalls, so there's no shortage of space at all. Outside, there are hairdryers and towels provided, just like in a public bathhouse. Earplugs were provided, which I used for sleeping. I did wake up once due to a faint snoring sound from afar, but it wasn't loud enough to be a big issue (I guess it depends on the person?). The fact that I slept soundly until 10 AM, even though I was sleeping right by the door, just goes to show how quiet it really is. As a solo female traveler on my first trip, I had some concerns, but they completely vanished. It was truly excellent! +) The Ghibli Grand Clock is nearby, so it's worth checking out. You can also walk to Tokyo Tower in about 30 minutes."

"Check-in convenience: Highly recommended! There's a staff member at the front desk who speaks Chinese, which made me feel very at ease. Safety: Very safe. You can store your luggage under the bed, and there are individual lockers with combination locks. Facilities: Excellent. Everything you need is provided, and for women, there's even a spacious vanity room. Women also have a separate floor, accessible only by key card. Cleanliness: Very clean! Environment: It's really close to Senso-ji Temple, and there are convenience stores and a Life supermarket nearby, which is very convenient!"

"The location is fantastic for the price, being very close to the station, and the facilities are decent. There are also many great restaurants nearby. There was a slight smell in the room, but it wasn't too bothersome, and the basement shower rooms were satisfactory. I especially remember how powerful the hair dryer was. Being able to use the shared refrigerator was also a plus. Overall, it was much better than I expected, and I was very satisfied!"

"This hotel is super convenient with a great location. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. It's a shame that the front desk staff were unfriendly! That's the most annoying part, especially since it was my first stay and I just wanted to ask a simple question. The two Japanese staff members seemed particularly annoyed and impolite. They even took my suitcase without asking me first."

"I booked a single cabin and everything was great. Especially its location right in front of the subway station, which makes it super accessible. Considering it's a capsule (especially for the price), it's hard to find a better place. The downsides are that the showers are on the 6th floor, so you always have to take the elevator to shower, and the washing machine (300 yen), dryer (100 yen for 30 minutes), and powder detergent (100 yen from the vending machine) all cost extra. Also, the room entrance is a curtain, and the partitions between rooms are plywood, so you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms. (Everyone is generally considerate, but seriously, don't expect any soundproofing.) For your information, the amenities provided at check-in include earplugs, a disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, a face towel, and a bath towel. Towels are stacked at the entrance to the 6th-floor shower room, similar to Korean saunas or jjimjilbangs, so you can change them daily. In conclusion, it's a highly recommended accommodation due to its excellent value for money. I'll definitely consider staying here again if the price is right next time."

"Will definitely be using this hotel when i come back again! The employees were so nice and its in such a good location. The nearest familymart is just 4 minutes away. I always get my breakfast from there! Plus its just a 10 minutes away walk to the disney store and the train station to go to shibuya, harajuku, and so on!"

"Oh, I forgot to mention something in my last review: sometimes booking separate nights can be cheaper than a continuous multi-night reservation. I stayed a total of 5 nights across 3 different bookings. For my Tokyo trip, the absolute highlight was staying at this all-female hostel – it's truly the best of its kind! It was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and this entire 9-story building is dedicated to women. 1. **Convenient Location**: It's just a few minutes' walk from Shimbashi and Shiodome subway stations, with FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby. 2. **Capsule Pod**: It was much bigger than I expected! 1.3 meters wide and 2 meters long. I chose an upper bunk, and at 1.75 meters tall, I could sit up straight without my head touching the ceiling – I was very pleased! The pillow and mattress were comfortable too; I prefer firmer pillows and bedding. 3. **Communal Bathing Area**: Located on the 8th floor, you need to take off your shoes and enter barefoot. I was surprised to see so many long-haired women, yet there was hardly any hair on the floor; it was kept very clean! After a long day of walking, being able to sit down to shower and then soak in the artificial hot spring bath to relax was pure bliss! There were also many different toiletries to choose from, and the hairdryers were Refa – my hair felt so smooth afterwards. The hair oil smelled lovely, and I enjoyed using the peach-scented Johnson's body lotion. 4. **Communal Lounge**: On the 9th floor, there are tables for working. Free drinks are available 24 hours a day, free popcorn and waffles (motion-activated, quite cool!) are available after 5 PM, free ramen after 7 PM, and free curry rice in the mornings. There are also free massage chairs in the lounge, which was fantastic!"

"Incredible stay! I wish I stayed here again, really. My main concern when staying at capsule hotels and hostels is the noise, but because it’s a rule not to make noise or eat or take calls where the pods are here, it was very relaxing. I stayed as a traveller but many people stay for work purposes. The television was a nice luxury, but I really like that each of the pods had two outlets and the air conditioner was really powerful. I also really liked the secure storage next to the bed. I stayed in the Business Class pod, which was perfect for a three-night stay. I keep forgetting that I can just stand in there, but I could and it was really nice to have the extra headroom and not feel too closed in. I really want to try the First Class for a longer stay, so next time I am in Tokyo, hopefully I can stay there. The included breakfast was also very good with many options, and the lounge/common area was the best one among the places I’ve stayed on my trip, especially since I had to do some work. Really, First Cabin is made for people working for travel. It’s the perfect blend of capsule hotel and business hotel. Being able to use the sento on-site was perfect after a long day (although the website says no tattoos allowed, I asked the front desk person who checked me in if it was okay to use it since I have western-style tattoos, and they said it was okay). You get new towels (and slippers!) everyday. I like that they have both curling and flat irons for hair, as well as hair dryers of course. The self-serve amenities at the front desk covered everything, even a shower towel. The laundry machines were really well-maintained and clean. It was a great location, a few stops away from Shinjuku Station so not too busy and chaotic, but still close to everything. There’s a drug store right next door, and an Mos Burger and other places to eat just steps away. The area around Ichigaya Station was really nice, and I wish I spent more time exploring around there."

"I was personally happy that the drink bar and curry were free. The facilities were clean and the amenities were plentiful. (Not only toothbrushes and brushes, but also cleansing and skincare products. The napkins were a nice touch!) If you're not picky about amenities or the hotel room itself, this is a great option as it means you won't have to carry around much luggage! There were three things that bothered me. 1. The cabin felt stale and had a peculiar smell. However, turning on the exhaust fan quickly cleared it up. 2. The dining area was cold. I agree that a cool room is desirable after a bath or coming back from outside in the summer, but many women, especially, are prone to feeling cold, so I thought it might not have been too much. 3. I think it was just a coincidence, but the towels that were supposed to be in the room were missing. I went all the way to the first floor to get them, but there was no apology or excuse. Well, maybe it's not something worth complaining about, but the fact that they went all the way to the first floor to get them and then said, ”Oh, this is it.” was a bit off-putting. I'm not saying they should apologize sincerely, but since the customer went out of their way to pick it up, I think it would be polite to at least say something like ”I'm sorry” or ”Thank you for taking the time.” (Sorry if it's a hassle.) Overall, it was very good. Unless you're sensitive to minor noises or have a germaphobia, I think you'll enjoy it, unlike a regular hotel."

"This was probably my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and I was really impressed with how clean it was. The Japanese are very meticulous about cleanliness, and the sheets and duvet covers were all disposable, which was great. Even though it's a capsule, it was surprisingly quiet.
