"This hostel is really great! Even though it's a shared dorm, you still get a good sense of privacy. The showers are plentiful and super clean. They also have a washer and dryer (only 300 yen combined!). The elevator is a huge plus! There's a fridge for your food and a microwave available. Around the hostel, there are restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores open all the time. It's super close to Meguro Station, making travel incredibly convenient. They provide hair dryers too. Fresh towels are given daily. The staff here are incredibly lovely. I stayed from April 22-28. It seemed my slippers were collected on the morning of April 24th, and I happened to bump into a male staff member. I asked for a new pair, and he immediately brought them to me. So sweet! I wish the check-out time could be extended a bit. 10 AM is a little early; I'd love it if it could be 11:30 AM or even 12:00 PM."

The room and bathroom facilities were clean and tidy. It's right in the middle of the Asakusa commercial area, and it's only about a 10-minute walk from Asakusa Station to catch the train to Narita Airport in the morning. Highly recommend!"

Seeing Tokyo's sights from this hotel is easy with Hachiko Statue, SHIBUYA SKY and Ebisu all close by. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

"This capsule hotel offers a rare low price in the city. It has all the essential amenities, providing a comfortable yet simple stay. There's only one elevator, which can be a bit inconvenient during peak hours, but it's not a major issue if you avoid the crowds. The bedding is comfortable, and the minimalist setup allows you to focus purely on resting, which is a great advantage. With hotel prices soaring in Tokyo, this is a place I'd definitely consider staying at again when I want to save money."

Hotel near Shinbashi,Tokyo
A 5-minute walk from Shimbashi Station. Close to the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Ginza, and more, this hotel is extremely convenient for sightseeing in Tokyo. It's also close to Tokyo Tower and located along the JR Yamanote Line, making travel very easy. The room type is a mixed-gender dormitory room.

"Price affordable place suitable for backpackers and solo traveling. I'm not renting the sharing beds but solo tiny rooms, the bed is actually not that small, so you can store the things in the underneath locker and the suitcase placed outside. But make sure to be quiet because there's no actual doors. I didn't really sleep well but earplugs helped a bit, the shower and common area are acceptable. Nice staff that answered a lot question and recommended me restaurant with curry, even if she is a part time, I liked her a lot. The location is near to many restaurant in shimbashi,(but be careful if late night) and only 15minutes walk to Ginza, it's also near to many tourists places."

"I've stayed at many Dormy Inn hotels, and this time I chose the Korakuen location in Tokyo. The facilities are consistent with other branches, and the hot spring is on the basement level, so there's no outdoor bath like some other locations. Breakfast was decent. I have two complaints, though. First, this hotel might be an old building renovation, as the elevators are incredibly slow; you have to wait ages every time. Second, at other Dormy Inn branches, you can self-check-in, but here, the front desk insisted we check in with them manually. Their efficiency was terrible; it wasted so much of our time and was slower than if we had done it ourselves. I really wonder what they're thinking sometimes!"

Hotel near Akasaka,Tokyo
ocated within the Akasaka neighborhood, the space offers openness while shielding views from the outside, creating a bright environment filled with natural light and surrounding greenery. The floor is composed of cube units made up of four capsules rotated 90 degrees vertically and horizontally, arranged randomly throughout the space. Each capsule delivers a distinct spatial experience. Accommodation plan with breakfast, hotel will provide breakfast vouchers valid at Komeda Coffee (nearby cafe).

"The facility was great in general. Except you cant stay over the day its just for sleeping, showering and then you can leave it ln daytime, leave your stuff, as they clean and restrict the sleeping area. Otherwise it was kind of an all inclusive experience and did have a clean and nice washroom, as well as all round service. But it was a bit loud in the morning, the cleaning stuff rummages around exactly in front of the bed, talking, making noise cleaining beds 2 hours before check out."

While some noise is unavoidable, light sleepers can use the provided earplugs. For me, someone who falls asleep the moment my head hits the pillow, it wasn't an issue at all. The bathrooms were spotless and fully equipped. You could arrive with absolutely nothing and be perfectly fine."

"Oh, I forgot to mention something in my last review: sometimes booking separate nights can be cheaper than a continuous multi-night reservation. I stayed a total of 5 nights across 3 different bookings. For my Tokyo trip, the absolute highlight was staying at this all-female hostel – it's truly the best of its kind! It was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and this entire 9-story building is dedicated to women. 1. **Convenient Location**: It's just a few minutes' walk from Shimbashi and Shiodome subway stations, with FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby. 2. **Capsule Pod**: It was much bigger than I expected! 1.3 meters wide and 2 meters long. I chose an upper bunk, and at 1.75 meters tall, I could sit up straight without my head touching the ceiling – I was very pleased! The pillow and mattress were comfortable too; I prefer firmer pillows and bedding. 3. **Communal Bathing Area**: Located on the 8th floor, you need to take off your shoes and enter barefoot. I was surprised to see so many long-haired women, yet there was hardly any hair on the floor; it was kept very clean! After a long day of walking, being able to sit down to shower and then soak in the artificial hot spring bath to relax was pure bliss! There were also many different toiletries to choose from, and the hairdryers were Refa – my hair felt so smooth afterwards. The hair oil smelled lovely, and I enjoyed using the peach-scented Johnson's body lotion. 4. **Communal Lounge**: On the 9th floor, there are tables for working. Free drinks are available 24 hours a day, free popcorn and waffles (motion-activated, quite cool!) are available after 5 PM, free ramen after 7 PM, and free curry rice in the mornings. There are also free massage chairs in the lounge, which was fantastic!"

"30 secs walk to kuramae station exit - multiple exits to take from and there's elevator in one of the exits (cant rmb the exit that has elevator sorry). capsule bed was great with luggage storage below. my stay didnt have inconsiderate people (i.e. talking in the phone late at night etc) so all was good but occasionally people would pack their luggages but its not that loud. some of the front desk staff were lovely - lent me an adapter, also kept my umbrella when i forgot to take it from the lobby, and also helped me to print an attraction ticket for 20 yen. lounge was cosy with lots of manga in english if you wish to read."
