"Staying at this 24th-floor high-rise hotel near Jiefangbei and Hongyadong in Chongqing truly gave me a sense of relaxation, like being in another country! I'll fall in love with Chongqing countless times! This high-rise garden hotel has an amazing design, and the restaurant is absolutely stunning! You can overlook the Yangtze River from there. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and you can walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. It's also very convenient to call a taxi right outside the hotel. The room has a bathtub, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation. It comes with a Dyson hairdryer and a Harman Kardon speaker. The 'cloud-level' hot spring tub in the room was perfect for relaxing in the evening! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic views of Chongqing's high-altitude nightscape. It's also very close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Transportation is super convenient with a subway entrance right at the doorstep, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities. The bedding, in particular, was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

GGuest UserThis hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Its location in the Jiefangbei area is very convenient, close to Hongya Cave and Bayi Food Street. The river view room indeed offers a great view of Qiansimen Bridge. The bathroom is spacious, and the TV in the room even allowed us to catch up on TV shows. The landlady's recommendation for Jiang Er Wa Chuan Chuan Xiang was absolutely delicious. On my last day, they even granted me a late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful. The only minor drawback was the inconsistent and often disconnected Wi-Fi. Other than that, I was extremely satisfied.

11538233****The hotel is pretty good. The living room is on the first floor. If you turn right and walk 200 meters from the first floor, you can reach Hongya Cave. You can access Jiefangbei from the 22nd floor. There's a sky lobby on the 20th floor, which offers free dessert soup every night from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with three different kinds daily, plus free ice cream and flowers. The soundproofing isn't the best, but overall, I'm quite satisfied. It's really good, and I'll definitely come back next time.

MM19863****Facilities: It's an older hotel with comprehensive amenities, though some are showing their age. The room itself is very spacious. The two TVs are small and have poor picture quality. However, the hot water was sufficient for three people showering consecutively. Cleanliness: Despite being old, it was very clean – no strange odors or hair, and the bedding and towels were quite good. Environment: It's very close to Jiefangbei with many dining options nearby. The hotel breakfast had limited choices (noodles, rice noodles), and the taste was average. The 'wanza' (noodles with mixed toppings) was hard and not cooked properly. Even the highly-praised croissants were cold and not fresh! But it was enough to fill up. The afternoon tea was decent, I especially liked the Napoleon cake, and the fruit was very fresh with good service. Service: It was my mother's birthday on the day we checked in, but the hotel offered no birthday wishes, which was a bit awkward! Since our package included some perks, they initially told me to contact the platform myself, but I later went downstairs and spoke to a different receptionist. After checking into the room, the snack and pear soup delivery service was very good! It was my birthday on the day we checked out. I called the front desk to ask if we could check out 30 minutes late. The front desk called me back afterward, having noticed it was my birthday, and told me to pick up a small gift at the front desk when leaving. I feel the hotel's procedures are inconsistent, and the service varies.

CcrystalxxlThe supervisor and the receptionist at check-in assigned us to the 16th floor, which had a great view outside the window – very satisfying. It's very close to Jiefangbei, and Hongyadong is right next door. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance. However, the front desk didn't proactively offer the fridge magnet for leaving a review when checking out. I only saw others getting them and had to ask for one, which they reluctantly gave. Considering we stayed three nights and had two kids with us, it would have been much better to generously offer two. That would have significantly improved the customer experience.

GGuest UserOverall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly! But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good. The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality. Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient. To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person. They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa. We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room. I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment. But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade. Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high. I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page. We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget. We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us. And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.

GGary SeetThe hotel might seem a little aged at first but the service and interior still wow from the first moment you step in. The room I booked was clean and spacious. The housekeeping did their job excellent. They have everything inside you could ask; washing detergent, iron, laundry rack, etc. Front desk was superb; fast check-in, great advice when asking for recommendations, and efficient when asking for items like extra water. The robot was a great thing to have as all my delivery are sent to my doorstep. All in all, this is a 10/10 solid stay. Oh, the breakfast have a great great selection and taste great too. And there is vending machine in lobby if u need any last minute groceries or even a wake up coffee. Thank you.
