Romantic Hotels in Chongqing

This was my second time visiting Chongqing, and I specifically chose this hotel located near Hongya Cave. The overall experience was simply outstanding. The hotel facilities are well-equipped, the cleanliness is impeccable, the ambiance is wonderful, and the service is top-notch. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone greeted us proactively and was warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. We booked a room with a balcony on the 9th floor, and the view was breathtaking. The hotel also included complimentary breakfast. Overall, I am extremely satisfied.

This hotel is located in the bustling heart of Chongqing's downtown, and from the sofa, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Jiefangbei's beautiful night lights. The hotel's decor is grand and exquisite, and the rooms are well-equipped with smart controls. I especially appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and the bedding was pure white, pure cotton, and wonderfully thick. A big thank you to the front desk staff for their warm and thoughtful service; the hotpot they recommended was delicious and affordable. For any needs, just tell the staff, and they will gladly assist you. We truly appreciated their kindness, professionalism, and the respect they showed us.

Choosing the right hotel really makes traveling so much easier! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had no strange odors. The bedding was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and even turned on the air conditioning before we arrived. The hotel is close to the scenic spots, making it very convenient for getting around. The environment is quiet and safe, with excellent facilities and plenty of toiletries. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it's definitely worth coming back to.

The location is super convenient, really close to the subway station. Our room was spotless, and the staff, especially the ladies at the front desk, were so kind and patient. You can walk to Jiefangbei in just ten minutes, and the Cloud Eye observation deck and Yangtze River Cableway are right nearby too. Plus, the room offered an absolutely amazing view for night photography!

This stay was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel as a whole is clean and fresh, the room has a cozy layout, and the housekeeping is spot-on—every corner was neat and tidy. The bedding is soft and the room has great soundproofing, ensuring a sound sleep at night. The hot water comes out quickly, and the bathroom fixtures are user-friendly. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, check-in and check-out were efficient, and any requests were handled promptly. The location is great, making it easy to hail a cab or find food. You can really feel the thoughtfulness in the little details, making it a great place to unwind after a tiring journey. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the area.

The panoramic Yangtze River view was fantastic. Strangely, one side of the bathroom was a glass exterior wall, completely transparent, so the curtains had to be drawn. However, the inner side had no door, making it an open-plan design, only suitable for solo travelers. It felt very business-like, and you had to switch elevators, which is very characteristic of Chongqing. The location was excellent, just a fifteen-minute walk from Jiefangbei. Being in the city center's commercial district, it was very convenient for food and entertainment. The package included a day trip, valued at 68 RMB. Was that just for transportation? All other entrance fees had to be paid by myself, totaling 236 RMB for three attractions. I couldn't resist buying a lot at the shopping stop during the tour, only to find out later that it was several times more expensive than elsewhere. Don't be a sucker! After buying, although shipping was included, I had to carry it myself, which caused great inconvenience to the rest of my trip. The tour guide's arrangement for this was particularly unaccommodating, a definite минус. Luggage delivery - Free luggage delivery to the airport/train station: This was pretty good. I had intended to travel light after sending my luggage, but the entire itinerary placed the shopping in the morning, which was incredibly inconvenient. Another minus.

We really struck gold with this hotel in Chongqing! The front desk service was amazing—they stored our luggage in advance and even gave us a free upgrade to a floor-to-ceiling window room with a fantastic view. The staff were super helpful, answering all our questions and patiently explaining local travel tips. In the evening, they even reminded us to head upstairs for free desserts. The ambiance was top-notch, and all our travel fatigue instantly melted away. A full 5-star experience, my absolute top choice when visiting Chongqing!

Room had a stunning night view, hotel is grand in both scale and splendour - the minute you walk in it smells wonderful and the size of the lobby is impressive. The staff are very friendly and quick to help - they will let you know all details relevant to your stay and any questions you have will be answered quickly. The rooms are clean and well furnished, we stayed in the deluxe suite which had a fantastic view, and a massive bathroom with shower, bath and washing machine. We also had a kitchen with dishwasher, stove and fridge freezer although we did not use those. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. The air conditioning was very confusing though - even with labels at door we couldn’t figure out how to make it hotter instead of colder and unfortunately the bathroom started to smell at nights and the smells seemed to be coming up the drains, closing the door helped. Othrr than that, the stay was perfect and because of the room we stayed in we got executive benefits which included breakfast, high tea, welcome snacks and access to the executive lounge with complimentary snacks and drinks.

The front desk service was quite mediocre, but they seemed to have a completely different attitude towards foreign guests. When I called the front desk with a problem, I just got a lot of excuses. It was also strange when someone came up to deliver a key card and kept banging on the door. If you're short-staffed, you can make guests wait or use a robot, but continuously knocking and ringing the doorbell is impolite and unprofessional for hotel staff. The pool was okay, and the hotel's location is pretty good. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. Overall, the value for money is decent.
