I stayed at this hotel while visiting Calgary for my son’s tournament. Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable. One of the two elevators was under maintenance, but since the building only has five floors, it wasn’t a major inconvenience.
The room had a kitchenette with a sink, which was convenient for heating up simple meals in the microwave, and the refrigerator was a good size. However, the bedside lamp and the desk lamp didn’t work, and the outlets near them also seemed to be out of order. I had to unplug the clock to charge my phone.
Among the four pillows on the bed, one had a noticeable bleach smell, so I set it aside and used the others — it would have been nicer if they had been rinsed more thoroughly.
The staff were friendly and helpful overall, and the ice machine worked well. The hot tub in the pool area was also very enjoyable.
Despite a few minor issues, I was satisfied with my stay and would consider staying here again in the future.
The cleanliness is actually OK, but it's quite run-down. The wash basin in my room was completely cracked and looked disgusting. I couldn't get through the two days I stayed there; it was a bit nauseating just looking at it. The breakfast was OK. Parking was convenient.
Good overall, just needs to be a bit cleaner. It also gets pretty loud at night. You can hear a loud noise every time someone opens their door, which is really disruptive. Someone should definitely look into that. Otherwise, it’s a nice location
This was my first time staying here and booking through trip.com. Everything was great effortless and booking and checking in. The beds were comfy and the shower is big enough for two people. The Chinese food in the Casino while watch the hockey game was great. Also the braised beef short rib Benny was a delicious start to Mother’s Day. I will definitely stay here again and hopefully hit the hot tub next time for sure.
The facilities in the room are relatively ordinary and a bit old, but the scenery outside the window is very good. You can see the snowy mountains and robes will appear from time to time outside the balcony👍. The service is also very good. The guy at the front desk will help take the luggage to the room.
There was no receptionist at the counter while we arrived, so we had to wait for a while and checked-in.
Staffs might be busy and not friendly as other hotels.
The check in was good; the agent was professional and friendly. The hotel is tired - needs a very deep clean and refurbishing in the common areas, elevators and rooms. It has windows in the rooms that open which was great! The restaurant was unexpectedly closed which was disappointing. Breakfast was pretty much all carbs and protein - would have been great to see some fruit. Lots of food. A decent stay for the price I paid and its proximity to the hospital which was where I needed to go.
We had an amazing stay at Tonquin Inn! The staff and the facility are truly awesome — they went above and beyond to make us feel special. We were surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, a beautifully decorated bed with kissing swans, and even a bottle of wine. Such thoughtful touches made our stay unforgettable. The hot tub was also a highlight, with great views that made it extra relaxing. Highly recommend Tonquin Inn for anyone visiting Jasper!

GGuest UserThe breakfast could be more better no fries were there except whole an apple. I would prefer to have more fruits that is ready to eat
GGuest UserHotel room was clean and staff were kind The temperature of the hot tub was lukewarm and jets barely moved the water, also the shower water pressure was very poor but otherwise a good stay. We didn’t opt into dining for there for breakfast just had other plans.
GGuest UserGood location for me to visit clients in Downtown. Stayed here for 2 nights, the queen room was clean & comfortable; devices in the room worked well.
The check-in staff was polite and great to deal with. it will be better if they can provide free breakfasts.
HhongpowerIt takes about 20 minutes by Uber from Edmonton Airport. It cost about 33 bucks. There is also a Korean restaurant nearby... It is not a walkable distance. All schedules were handled by Uber. The sound of the air conditioner in the room… . It's so big... I turned it off when I went to sleep.
AAnonymous UserGuests staying at the hotel can pick up a Banff pass. They can take bus 1246. Bus 1 runs directly from the hotel entrance to the Banff Gondola. There were ants in the hotel room, possibly because our room was on the first floor. Also, it's certain that the facilities of hotels in Banff Town are not as good as those in big cities when compared at the same price point. These gaps are something we need to learn to accept.

Rooms are quiet from road and train noise.
Beds are comfortable and the pillows were nice and full.
