3-Star Hotels in Gansu, China

Sand on floor on arrival. No towels at alll in the bathroom. I called reception for towels. Ok. Next day, the cleaners clean the room and remove the used towels but didn’t replace with new ones. Again I have to call reception to bring towels. My 3 nights there, the cleaning of the floors was really poor. Floors were not swept and I could see hairs on the floor. Ok. They were my own hairs, but still. Sweep the floor! Cleaners also do not remove used porcelain cups with clean cups. The furniture, and bedding are really nice. But shame about the poor cleaning job. Also, there is no place to hang up the towels in the bathroom. Very odd.

The hotel looks really nice and will look great on anybody’s instagram. However, I had a room on the first (ground) floor and these should be avoided by anybody caring about privacy. One of the windows opened on the courtyard and the other opened on an alley, at street level. Anybody walking by inside or outside had a direct view inside the room.

I was touched by the attentive service throughout my stay! The front desk staff were warm and professional, quickly checking me in and patiently explaining local attractions. They even offered to help with my luggage. Any requests during my stay were handled super promptly, and the housekeeping aunties cleaned meticulously without being disruptive. They proactively replenished toiletries and even left thoughtful convenience items. Every detail was full of warmth, and I'll definitely be back!

Wuwei is a fantastic city. I chose this hotel while driving the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop. Parking was very convenient; there were spacious parking spaces right outside. The hotel had a humidifier and air conditioning. It was great value for money. I accidentally left my power bank at the hotel, and the staff called several times to inquire. They were very responsible and patient, and eventually even mailed the power bank back home for me. Beautiful scenery and kind people.

Good value and location for the most part. The hotel is a bit old and it shows in small things like hard-to-close doors. The main issue for us was the AC - it didn’t work consistently (it beeped with an error message after running for 5 mins on repeated tries whenever we changed the temperature or fan speed). We ended up turning it off the entire night and just opened the windows. We arrived close to midnight by train so didn’t ask to change the rooms.

Choosing the right hotel truly doubles your travel happiness! The Ibis Longnan Railway Station branch has an absolutely fantastic location; it's just a few minutes' walk from the train station, making it super convenient for catching early trains or arriving late, so you don't have to rush around. The rooms are clean, tidy, and odorless, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing exceeded expectations, making for a very peaceful stay. The staff are enthusiastic and efficient, handling check-in and check-out quickly, and patiently answering any questions. The facilities are comprehensive and practical, with smooth internet, plenty of hot water, and air conditioning at just the right temperature – quality is evident in every detail. The breakfast offers a rich variety, with fresh ingredients, leaving you full and satisfied before heading out. The value for money is outstanding! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Longnan, and I've already recommended it to friends who are traveling for business!

This hotel boasts an excellent location, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming; their warm smiles alone are enough to make me choose this place again. It instantly brightened my mood, and I genuinely highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel located near to the tourist spot. The hotel offers a very good free transfer around the city area. When walked out of the hotel building, the driver came out and asked where I was going and then gave e a left. The staff members are very helpful with any kind queries. The only problem is the the room does not have good sound proof. People stayed next to my room talked loudly till 2.30am of which disturbed my sleep very badly.

Facilities: The amenities are relatively new, recently renovated, and quite comfortable, although the hairdryer wasn't very powerful. Cleanliness: It was very clean and tidy. Service: The staff on duty the night we checked in were great. However, the staff the next day had a poor attitude when communicating. We came back late on the second day, and parking was inconvenient. I asked the front desk if we could park in a reserved spot, but they refused, and their attitude was also quite poor.

The hotel's location is excellent, not far from the night market and bookstores. We arrived in Dunhuang around 6 PM, and the pick-up driver had contacted us in advance and smoothly took us to the hotel. We checked in after a short wait. Seeing that we were three people and had booked two breakfasts, they kindly gave us an extra breakfast for our child. Parking at the hotel is also very convenient, with a dedicated parking lot. When we left, they even gave us a gift. All the staff were very warm and welcoming, especially numbers 7 and 10. If I have the chance to visit Dunhuang again, I'll definitely stay here.
