Inside the Stirling university which is a nice and quiet environment, but it requires travelling to the city centre. There is no restaurant which opens for dinner except that in the hotel.
The original room on ground floor given to us has a strong odour smell, which did not disappear after cleaning by housekeeping team. The reception initially refused to change the room. Only after we insisted then we were given another room on the first floor, but it wasted us almost 1.5 hour in waiting.
Otherwise, everything is very good including the excellent breakfast.
The hotel is located in a quiet area and has several rooms, which fully guarantees the quality of accommodation and service. Stirling is not big, it takes a few minutes to walk to the castle and the old town, all aspects are perfect, if you go to Stirling will definitely stay again
The environment is beautiful, with large lawns and landscapes, and the room facilities are comfortable and satisfying. There are restaurants and shops on foot, and parking is convenient
The breakfast is simple, the location is easy to find, the scenery is beautiful by the lake, the rooms are small, the facilities are old, pets are allowed, there is a bar and resident singers in the evening, the atmosphere is good, the price is high
I really loved my stay The Allan Park. Such a nice cozy homie place. Very spacious room that has everything you need, staff is really helpful and friendly, cozy lounge room with a fireplace. The only thing I would suggest adding is the hook on a bathroom door for a towel. Would love to stay here in future and highly recommend for anyone.
Lovely hotel and delicious food. We loved the location and the pool area and facilities. Only issue we had was the heat. It was particularly mild for November and the staff weren’t able to adjust the temperature. We were given a dusty and broken fan to combat the heat but sadly no one came forward with an apology when we brought it to staff that we had to leave the window open wide all night to try combat the heat. I know it wasn’t the individuals fault but good customer service would apologise to the customer and none of the 4 staff we spoke to about it offered an apology and they seemed disgruntled about it too.

The room is really beautifully designed. I like it very much. Due to the impact of bad weather, we can't go out. The restaurant downstairs can't open the door. The hotel staff and hotel management staff are very responsible and keep sending food to us. - I asked us what we needed help. I was very touched. I also went to the Chinese restaurant to buy us fried rice and fried noodles! The key is not to charge us a penny! Thanks again! Because my daughter came here to study at university, I would definitely stay here if I had the opportunity to come back!

GGuest UserStaff very friendly and helpful.
Room very cold - air conditioning system that clearly doesn’t work. Did read other reviews prior to arrival and should have taken note as this seems to be a common complaint.
Staff clearly aware as delivered an electric heater without question when asked for one.
Breakfast okay. Will not cook poached or fried eggs only scrambled.
NNick EnglandThe room was large and clean and the front desk reception was pleasant and helpful. The hotel lounge and dining areas were large and bright. The decor was drab and dated with extensive use of ugly carpet and wallpaper everywhere.
The bizarre shower mixing valve arrangement resulted in the bath tub filling up very fast when taking a shower. The pivoting glass shower door/deflector arrangement made it difficult to impossible to keep shower spray from ending up on the bathroom floor. The bathroom door had no proper handle/latch/lock for privacy and was only held closed with a magnet. Finding parking was a horror story. All regular spots were taken and what was left was utter chaos. Everyone else had just improvised and parked wherever they could find a spot along the drive, on the grass etc...
Wi-Fi did not work throughout the ENTIRE stay. The reception staff indicated that the router was likely ”overloaded”. They reset the router but it didn't help. There were no physical LAN drops in the room either.
We paid 20 pounds for a breakfast that was at first non-existent (buffet style - almost empty to empty warmers). When we entered the dining area there were few people but many...most tables covered with dirty dishes, cutlery etc...After an extended wait food trickled out. In the mean time we had to search for the coffee (INSTANT coffee made en-masse). The actual food offerings were ok once they appeared but many items were reheated pre-packaged items and there were almost no heathy (fruit, plain yogurt etc...) options.
GGuest UserThis hotel is in a great location for exploring Stirling by foot, can't beat it! It's a basic hotel but has all you really need, with no frills. Staff were fast and helpful, parking on site. Bathroom could have been cleaner, shower pressure isn't great. But rooms were quiet, bed comfortable.
WWrightsonWe received such a warm welcome and friendly service. The room was clean, warm and contained more than what we expected. The hosts did everything they could to make us feel welcome and provide us with everything we needed. I would recommend to all travellers.
JJonathanNice pub and rooms, ideal stopping off point travelling up north near Stirling. The restaurant is good, with reasonably priced classic pub food and selection of beers. Unfortunately we left too early to have the full Scottish breakfast which was included.
GGuest UserHotel has a great atmosphere very friendly staff and the room is big and cosy bed. The breakfast is superb and plenty to choose from have booked another night there on my return back down from the Highlands.
