3-Star Hotels in Utrecht Province, Netherlands

I had a very pleasant stay at NH Centre Utrecht and would recommend it, especially for short business trips or city visits. The location is the biggest advantage — right in the historic center, within walking distance of restaurants, cafés, shops, and key sights like the Dom Tower. Getting around the city is extremely easy, and everything you might need after work is just a few minutes away. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. They were also happy to give directions and local tips, which made the stay more comfortable. The room was clean and well maintained, with all the essentials like good Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and basic amenities. It’s worth noting that the rooms are a bit on the smaller side, which is common for central European city hotels, but still perfectly functional for a short stay. A small downside is that you may hear some street noise depending on your room location, and the building has a more classic style rather than a modern business-hotel feel. Still, for the price and location, it offers very good value.

Accommodation in Utrecht is really expensive, and this was the cheapest place I could find that was also relatively close to the train station. I didn't have high expectations initially, but when I arrived, I saw two very fancy outfits displayed at the entrance, and I realized this place was more than it seemed. It operates as a hostel, a bar, and a restaurant, and there's even a study area on the ground floor. A quick search revealed that this place is a converted church, and it's hard to imagine having the experience of staying a night in a church. Since I needed to work, I went to the study area in the evening and stayed until midnight. The restaurant had already closed, and everything was very quiet, creating a truly unique atmosphere. Then, when I woke up the next morning and looked downstairs, the ground floor was already full of people working – so diligent! P.S. Both check-in and check-out are self-service, making it an introvert-friendly hostel. If I ever get the chance to visit Utrecht again, I would definitely consider staying here.

Location is top notch, right in the city centre of Utrecht. Check in was smooth. I arrived early and they kept my luggage while i roamed around until the actual check in time. Room was okay as i was alone, but probably can be a bit tight for 2 persons. Nice breakfast spread, wish there are more choices of cereal. i personally love the make-it-yourself waffle! Price a bit steep, but convenient if you need to be in the city.

This hotel offers a lovely ambiance, creating a truly pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which definitely enhanced the overall experience. However, it's worth noting that the location might be a bit far from the train station, making a personal vehicle quite advantageous for getting around. The rooms, while comfortable, were on the smaller side. Despite the slightly remote location and smaller rooms, the delightful atmosphere and wonderful staff.

The hotel offered an overall satisfactory stay. Breakfast was acceptable, with a reasonable selection. The location is a bit far from the city center, which may be inconvenient without transport. The room was fine and met basic expectations. Staff were polite and adequate. A plus point is the availability of a car park, which is convenient for guests with cars.

Het verblijf an-sich was prima. Kamer was netjes en schoon en de bediening vriendelijk. De prijs van de kamer was echter heel erg hoog. Dit terwijl de verdieping waar ik zat werd verbouwt en je eerst binnenstapt in een bouwval. Dit stond niet vermeld tijdens het boeken en was dus een onaangename verrassing. Bij het ontbijt serveert het hotel geen vlees. Domper. Maar wel de reguliere prijs wat in hotels gevraagd wordt. De prijs, het ontbreken van bacon bij het ontbijt en de onaangename verassing van de verbouwing hebben er voor gezorgd dat ik in het vervolg elders geen ga als ik in de omgeving ben. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

In terms of hygiene, the shower wasn't clean (hair from previous guests). The location is excellent and easily accessible. The service is excellent, and even with bacteria (enterococci) in the water, they do offer bottled water. Breakfast was a bit behind schedule on Sundays, not quite prepared for peak times. The breakfast menu could be better structured. They do have parking, but they could do with some more maintenance in the parking garage due to clogged drains, which cause water to pool on the deck, resulting in large puddles.

This is a familiar hotel for us. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is excellent. However, the cleaning could be improved. The windowsill was dirty, there was a layer of dust on the safe, and the Nespresso machine was full of empty pods and hadn't been cleaned.

It is nice place to stay for personal trip with friends and family, nice decoration, and people nice too, but it is a little far away from the station and town. However, it takes 20 min. for walk.

All very good, service and hospitality, a beautiful and good (and affordable) restaurant on the property, fine bed, very clean etc. And especially: unlimited free coffee and tea, fruit. The only thing I regret is that the doors fall hard in the lock (wood on wood) in the building where we were sleeping, and I stopped the door softly, but it is not all. Between 22.30 and 6.30 hour the mouse is still before and after that is accepting that issue. It would be nice if something was done. All together: enjoy our stay.
