This hotel is conveniently located near the 601 bus stop, making it easy to get to from Leshan North Railway Station. It's just a 2-3 minute walk to the Baoguo Temple Tourist Center, where you can catch the scenic bus to Leidongping and then the cable car to Golden Summit – very convenient. Bus routes 5 and 12, right across from the hotel, also make getting to Fuhu Temple a breeze. The place is clean, tidy, and comfortable, offering great value for money. There are plenty of restaurants and small supermarkets nearby. A special shout-out to the hotel owner – seeing I was older, they thoughtfully arranged a low-floor room for me and enthusiastically shared tips on local attractions and bus routes. Many thanks!

The room was generally clean, especially compared to others in the area – no cockroaches, which was a big plus. The service was also excellent; they were very attentive to things like whether the AC was heating properly or if there was hot water, which are important details. Their hot water, in particular, was great. If you're staying for a longer period, you can even do laundry.

The accommodation is really close by the subway station (5 mins away by walk) so that is really convenient for everything.
The room has facilities like a washing machine. One of the girl of the receptions speaks basic English but that is enough to be understood, she also helped me with the booking of my next hotel by calling the owner who spoke only Chinese and it was really helpful!
Around the hotel, there are a lot of restaurants and coffee places so it is easy to get something to eat.
I recommend this hotel and I will be coming back here!
The room is very spacious, and the location is excellent, right next to Lushan Mountain, perfect for a hike. There are plenty of food options nearby, and you can also order takeout. I heard the guesthouse offers shared meals, but I didn't participate. The atmosphere was quite nice, with lots of chatting and laughter. There's a pool table on the third floor, but no one to play with me! 😂 Downstairs, there's a very cute blue cat. When I came back from Silver Beach in the afternoon, it was all alone, so I petted it, and it immediately became very friendly. When I sat down, it came closer and rubbed against me. ☺️ It even jumped onto the table and nuzzled my shoulder! 😀

The stay experience was very good. The front desk check-in was efficient and friendly. We were given a free room upgrade. The room was clean and tidy, and they also gave us free mineral water. The facilities were complete. Parking was also very convenient. There is free parking. You can also store your luggage for free when you check out. The room is simple in style, and I personally prefer a simple style. [Strong] Very good. Highly recommended [Strong] [Strong]

The place was easy to find, with a large storefront right on the street. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the front desk and common area.
The room had lockers for luggage, but you need to ask the front desk for a lock. There's also a sink, which was quite convenient. For showering, you have to use the shared bathrooms. You also need to get bed sheets and duvet covers from the front desk and put them on yourself, so no worries about them not being changed. The duvet and pillow inserts were in good condition, no damp or musty smell. The room was very clean, without any strong formaldehyde odor from excessive decoration.
The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and even recommended a lot of local attractions and famous eateries.
Also, it truly lives up to its name with ”International” in it – it's the first time I've seen foreigners in a hostel here!

I booked the cheapest room. The picture of the Mingyue Twin Room did not match the room. The window of the room faced the elevator directly, and there was no screen and the buckle of the glass window was broken. I was super shocked! There is a camera in the window facing the elevator. When a cleaning car passes by, it feels like an earthquake while you are lying on the bed. You are speechless. Moreover, the sound insulation between the doors is very poor. People passing by the window talk, and the cleaning people at the door talk. The sound of water being used in the next room... was too noisy. Sometimes the smell of smoke seeps into the room and is difficult to dissipate. The introduction also says about separation of wet and dry parts [laughing and crying], but there is no separation in this room! The advantage is that the room is hygienic, the water sprinkler is large enough, and the heating is powerful. It's okay if you just stay for one night, but if you have high requirements, other room types are recommended.

I've been in Chengdu for over eight months now, having come from Shenzhen, and honestly, I haven't come across a homestay quite like this one. This room is genuinely super comfortable. Both the environment and the service are great, and the price is incredibly reasonable. Some homestays are cheap but feel really old, but this one is different; it's excellent in all aspects, and I'm very satisfied overall. Everyone can stay here with confidence.
Very good check-in experience, clean and hygienic, the landlady is very enthusiastic, that kind of very warm enthusiasm, super kind, she will stuff you with all kinds of things to eat, I deeply feel the care from the ******* compatriots, I can't help but take more photos , I would like to recommend this treasure B&B to you. It was only opened in July 2023. All the equipment is very new and there is no formaldehyde smell.

Location
On a long street with many restaurants and shops along the street and a self service ATM 5 -10 min walk away, including a small market in the mornings. It is a residential area, so you will most likely be the only foreigner, but people are extremely friendly and helpful, albeit the stares. The entrance faced the main road and was well lit. There is a flight of stairs that you will need to go up to get to the hostel area. If you have not tried hot pot, I would def recommend going to the Haichiniu Xianxianqie Beef Self service Hot Pot place which is around 5 mins walk down the road.
Quite far from the centre of the city however it is extremely easy to get to. During the day, there is a close proximity to the underground around 10 min walk, and there is a bus that I took from the city centre to right outside the hostel door where the bus stop was. If you are going through the night/early morning, it is extremely easy to catch a taxi through apps and it is quite cheap (around 40- 70 yen) and the road is very well lit. I felt completely safe in the area.
Service
Chu, the hostel aunty is warm and helpful, and gives you a sense of being home away from home. This included being made some home made dumplings to celebrate Golden Week which tasted delicious! She gave recommendations on places to go and made sure that I kept safe when out. As another review said, it can be a bit difficult communicating if you don't know Chinese as no English at the hostel or around the area is spoken and it can get quite draining/ mentally challenging at times for us, however Chu still tried her best to communicate regardless and I really appreciated the effort. To get around this and to make your stay more enjoyable, I would be sure to have WeChat set up prior so you can use the chat translator and have your google translate app out ready. (N.B Make sure you are able to set up the account and get the WeChat validation/security text through your HOME sim/data roaming as opposed to attempting to set up your account on your E-sim which won't work).
Facilities
It is a hostel that provides what you need. The things that took my British head some time to get around was the shower situation and the bed; namely the shower as it was more typical of an advanced bidet than standard shower. However, it was kept exceptionally clean after my first day there and I did my part of keeping it clean by bleaching it down. The bed is quite sturdy, typical of Chinese beds, so I would recommend bringing a blanket or similar to lay on the mattress so you can get to sleep. There is an upstairs area where you can use the washing machine or wash your clothes by hand and an open area to hang dry your clothes. Make sure you have some cash ready to give to Chu to use the machine. There is a vending machine that you can buy snacks for using the your WeChat pay. There is a seating area at the top where you can sit down and eat, smoke and chat. Once you are used to the different products used (i.e remembering the slippers, using the shower etc.), it becomes second nature and a very comfortable stay (funny story: I was sitting on a desk chair outside my room and being use to the chairs in the UK being quite heavy, I swung myself around and ended up falling off the chair LOL!).
Cleanliness
Like I mentioned above, the hostel is kept exceptionally clean and I had no concerns around hygiene once I got used to the shower situation. The cleanliness is what I can say was a huge benefit to the hostel. Considering how large the place is and Chu is the sole host, it is kept evidently very clean and Chu will be sure to tell you to tidy up too lool. People in China are not a fan of strong smells/ fragranced things so you will not smell bleach or such products but after seeing a storage room, I can assure they are being used!
The photos in the other reviews capture it exactly so you will not be surprised when coming to the place.
GGuest UserThis is not a holiday inn/holiday inn express, (the chain) even though that’s the name. Other than that it’s a fine hotel. They offered free airport pickup service, and were very friendly in helping us.
The hotel is in a very remote location, 20 minutes away from the airport. It’s in a beautiful setting in the countryside, and we could hear birds and chickens outside the window. The lobby is a bit sp****, and the bathroom is small, but it worked for us after getting in late at night.

PPBankThe room was clean and the overall environment was great. It's also conveniently located very close to the subway station. During check-in, the front desk staff was very enthusiastic and provided excellent recommendations for local dining and entertainment. My only minor issue was that the bathroom floor was quite slippery; it was easy to slip if you weren't wearing slippers.
GGuest UserThis is my go-to hotel for business trips! It's right in the city center, close to my office and shopping areas, making it easy to get around by taxi or subway. The in-room desk is spacious with soft lighting, perfect for working comfortably, and the meeting facilities are excellent. The laundry service is super efficient; I got my clean clothes back the next day, which was a huge help for my trip. Breakfast starts early and grab-and-go options are convenient, perfectly meeting the needs of a tight schedule. It offers much better value for money than other hotels in the same price range. Plus, there's free coffee! A truly great stay.

BBel.z.bubAmazing service and rooms. Very quiet in general. Staff is extremely helpful and kind.
Beds are soft and fresh, and rooms are spacious and clean. Did not opt to have breakfast at the hotel, but there are several shops nearby, including a 24h convenience store.
It is extremely well located with a metro station nearby. There are also several restaurants at the metro station and in the surrounding streets, all worth trying!

24 hrs airport pick up and drop off service. Picked me from airport at 2.30 am in the morning.
It was much more than my expectation for the price.
The hotel is in a rural area away from the hustles of the city.
I really enjoyed my stay.

LLinalinalinaI really liked the hotel! The staff speaks English, although I know Chinese, they still tried to help me in English, which is good. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to shops, cafes, shopping centers. The price is very low, the interior is beautiful.
There was a small spider web in the bathroom.
The air conditioner also warms up well, the equipment is very new. It would be nice if the toilet had a heated seat.
GGuest UserGreat and convenient location, to the point we extended another night stay. Only 200m to People's Park station, subway Line 2, which can connect you almost anywhere. Able to walk to People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley, even Tianfu Square if you can walk 2km. Also have a convenience store available downstairs of the same building, and Hong Qi store if you walk a bit further. Many tour agencies are on the opposite road, where you can book day tours. The tour bus pickup and drop off points are also only around 1km from this building, easy to walk to due to the extra-wide sidewalks. It's facing the main road so you can easily get taxis as well.
The building is easy to locate, but the check in counter is more confusing to find. When looking in from the main road, the convenience store is on the left, so you need to go to the opposite side of the convenience store. You need to walk to the back of the building and find the entrance facing the wall with a car park boom gate. There is a security guard and there are lots of online delivery boxes. Then, access the elevator and the reception is on level 26.
There was a washing machine and detergent available in our unit, which we utilized. Other than the clothes hanging bar in the kitchen, the rest of the unit lacked places to hang things such as wet towels. It was a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with another queen bed in the living room. Hot water was always available though you have to fiddle with the lever and wait some time. The kitchen only had a water kettle and a few mugs. There's a primary school right beside the building and you can hear the students every weekday morning. (My photos were taken just before checkout so don't mind the mess)
The owners are an exceptionally friendly couple who are hardworking and provide excellent service. They are open to feedback and we've told them what we think was lacking in our unit. Hopefully they will implement the small improvements. They also recommended a few restaurants to us that had good local food and were reasonably priced.
Recommend to add them on WeChat prior to arrival and communicate your arrival time. They wait at the front desk past midnight if they don't know the guest's check in time. However, they can only communicate in Mandarin, so you may face some difficulty.
