Although the standard twin bed room we occupied is quite small, it is well decorated, has modern furniture and is spotlessly clean. There is a recent shower unit, a TV, a fan, and tea and coffee making facilities. There are twin electrical sockets and 4 USB outlets adjacent to each bed. While the window looks along the coast rather than directly out to sea, the view is very pleasant. The English breakfast was good, and the manager, Adam, very helpful. There is parking on a hard-standing at the side of the hotel. The sea and pier are close by, and the main shopping area is walkable. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot. Two constructive suggestions are (1) a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries which won't stand on top of the curved sink, and (2) provision of a toilet brush.

RRyan WindsorStayed for one night while exploring Dartmoor and it makes for a great stop on route. The room was large and comfortable but can get a bit cold if it is a cold day. But all the staff are lovely and friendly and the food is excellent!
