This morning I checked out of the hotel and encountered a strike and demonstration. My Uber couldn't pick me up from Piraeus Port on time, but thanks to the front desk staff, particularly a very helpful young man, I was able to get some great assistance and advice. Also, the location is super convenient, the beds are really comfortable, and they have all the amenities you need. Everyone leaves messages on the comment wall – highly recommended!
Location!! 400+ mtr from airport bus stop . Bus nombor X95 stops at Syntagma Square(the last stn). 300+- to Monastiraki Square. Monastiraki metro abt 400* mtr to the hotel. Loads of restaurants & cafes around the hotel. Many shops nearby for shopping. The best Bakery 72H sells sourdough breads are also foot steps away. Basically its located is at the centre of everywhere. 20 min walk thru Plaka if you wanna go to Acropolis. Theres a church nearby which ring bells many times a day, it doesnt border us.
Service! Super friendly staffs. All the reception guys ad the housekeeping nice persons. We arrived early(ard 11.30am) and the hotel allow us to check in immediately. We had our room cleaned & towel changed! There is a lift to take your luggages to the room. There are soaps ready for you.
Cleanlines! Spotless! Love the balcony facing the street. Theres no coffee tea in the room. Room size are adequate for a family of 4 adult.
If we were to go to Athens again, will definitely stay here. Highly recommended
Be prepared for the hostel's complete lack of a guest kitchen or even a refrigerator for storing food. There's only an electric kettle on the ground floor. Towels are available for a fee and are not included in the booking. The room did have a balcony, but it was located at one end of the room, and the windows at the other end didn't even open, making it stuffy and uncomfortable.
A very clean budget hotel near the city center, in the multicultural Kypseli neighborhood of Athens. To catch the metro, go to Victoria station. Alternatively, there are bus lines connecting this area with the rest of Athens. The staff is kind and welcoming.
It's very close to the port, making it a convenient place to stay if you're taking a ferry. There are also large supermarkets nearby, making shopping convenient.
This is an older hotel, but the amenities are still there and the cleanliness is acceptable; however, there's no kettle. The room isn't too small, but the shower is quite small.
For a one-night stay, it's a good value for money.
It's impeccable. I had preconceived notions about single rooms with shared bathrooms until I discovered the Tempi Hotel and its ingenious facilities, where, despite sharing the bathroom, privacy and security are never compromised. The cleanliness, location, and service are 10/10. The attention from all the receptionists is wonderful. I arrived tired, not knowing Greek or English, and they helped me at every turn with warmth and great kindness. I highly recommend it and will return!
__________
The hotel is located near the subway station, with convenient public transportation and a supermarket nearby to supplement daily necessities. The atmosphere of the hotel is active and the staff is warm. The customer service is very good and the room windows are large and well lit. Note that the single room does not have a separate toilet, and the toilet and bathroom are shared. There is also a point to note that if you choose to take the subway to the airport, you must reserve enough time. The summer airport passenger flow is too large, the check-in waiting time is too long, and the train waiting time of the Blue Line subway to the airport is longer.

Outstanding hostel. Immaculately clean, with a kitchen that’s better stocked than many apartments—two full stovetops, ovens, and every piece of equipment you’d ever want. You’re surrounded by inexpensive restaurants and supermarkets, so eating well is easy. The beds are legitimately great, not “hostel great”—cozy mattress, big fluffy towel, and a warm, cozy blanket. Every bunk has full privacy curtains, and the blackout curtains on the windows keep the room properly dark.
An easy 10/10. One of those rare hostels that gets everything right.

Decent hotel and 2 mins walk from Omonia station. Area is rough with homeless and people on ***** but was told that it is safe to walk to Omnia station and back before 9pm as people wont disturb you. No issues in my 3 nights stay and i was back in the hotel before dark.
Keys have to be deposited with the staff before leave the hotel and collected when you are back. They will verify the room number against your name.
DDaniloThe hotel boasts a perfect location. The metro station is just a minute's walk away, or you can enjoy a pleasant 20-30 minute stroll to the Plaka district, where all attractions are then within easy reach. Right outside the metro station, you'll find a shopping center featuring a charming rooftop cafe. It's an ideal spot to unwind with a coffee while enjoying a fantastic view, including the Acropolis in the distance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Additionally, near the entrance, there's a display with various brochures to help you explore Athens.
RRaunaq GhoshThe hotel is located in a nice place. All the major attractions are 1 - 3 metro stops away, which hardly takes 10-15 mins from the gate of the hotel to the gate of the attraction. The staff is really nice, the person who was doing morning shift on 22nd gave me an early checkin, very kind of him. The lady in the night shift, I think her name is Lana, she is also very helpful. Caffe and restaurant near the hotel are nice, multiple options are there.
Now coming to the condition of the hotel - it’s not up to the basic standards. The rooms are very very old, the bathroom is in a pathetic condition ie old fittings, old marble (worst ). The building is in a mess. It looks like the hotel is not renovated since the time it was built. The lifts are scary. The lights in the room are dull. It’s better to book a hostel than this hotel in the same price point. There is a smell of chemicals on the
Hotel floors. The hotels next to this hotel are way way better, there are 3 4 of them in the same lane. PS - incase you want to use the aircon they’re gonna charge you 5 euros per day , though I really doubt that the aircon will work, but still. The heater in the room was also not working. In the night you don’t get hot water, it will only come in the morning.

GGuest UserThis hotel represents good value for money in Athens. I selected a room with a delightful balcony and interesting street views - there is also tiny park opposite. The desk was fine to complete several hours of work. The air-conditioned worked extremely well. I also appreciated the mini fridge in the room, which many hotels with Athens don't have.
However, the bathroom was little tiny. Its about 10 min walk to Omonia Metro station, which offers a direct line to the port area. There is an excellent supermarket about 10 min walk from the hotel. This area feels more like the real Athens, rather than hotels in tourist zones. This zone has wonderful multicultural feel. In the same street of this hotel, there are excellent hairdressers for $5 Euro a cut and fantastic stores to buy discount clothes and bags. I would certainly recommended this hotel for travellers that appreciate value for money and with great amenities like balcony and fridge.
GGuest UserBooked into this hotel by Trip as they had booked me into the wrong hotel- another story- on arrival the woman tried to charge me following trip having emailed me confirmation of payment by them following their blunder with the pervious booking. I got the impression she thought she could make a quick killing due to the confusion and me being in a tired/stressed state due to the booking blunder by Trip Which they had sorted after a little faffing around.
I was having non of it and she eventually relented. from thereon it was ok-The rest of the staff were ok and although it was inferior to the hotel I had actually booked it did the job. Basic hotel for a short stay, no facilities really but close to the ferry port and Metro for Athens. The room had a fridge which was handy and there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby, it is right next to the market which is interesting.
Make sure you have proof of payment if you choose to stay
BBazillionTruly 5/5. This place is everything. A perfect compliment that will made our Athens stay!
Lovely staff could not do enough for us and the location of 4m walk to the Acropolis metro and 15m to the Acropolis hill was unbeatable for us. The area was safe albeit touristy but we found locals spots with good prices an easy stroll away. Especiallly as the hotel was easy to find. We took a triple room and our friend said the sofa bed was very comfy. The room was spacious and quiet. The shower was exceptional and the bathroom modern and clean. Every day the staff refreshed our room and washed the dishes. The kitchenette included a microwave, industrial strength sandwich press and table and chairs in the bay window which allowed us to relax in the morning and evenings with our own snacks and beverages.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Very big thanks to the staff and owners.
JJponthemoveWe got an upgrade to a bigger room which was really nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s a free street parking in front of the hotel. Many restaurants and shops in a walking distance from the hotel. Very close to the port to take the ferry to any island. The only negative thing we found was that we can hear the disturbing noise from the street and the walkway in front of the room almost all night.
BBUSSINESBudget hillside hotel in Acharnes beneath Mount Parnitha, about 15 km from central Athens; convenient for drivers via Attiki Odos, with free on‑site parking and a quieter suburban setting than downtown. Rooms are spacious for the price, many with balconies and mountain or city views; amenities typically include A/C, fridge, soundproofing, and 24‑hour room service, though décor is dated and maintenance varies by room. Seasonal outdoor pool and basic buffet breakfast add value, but guest feedback often cites inconsistent cleanliness and very simple breakfast quality—manage expectations versus the claimed 4‑star label. Staff are generally described as polite and helpful, making this a value pick for motorists or stopovers; less ideal if prioritizing central sightseeing or modern finishes—request higher floors and renovated rooms when booking.
