2-Star Hotels in Shimane Prefecture, Japan

The hotel is located near Matsue station. The front desk agents were very polite and did their best to talk to me, despite my very broken Japanese. Guests are given a locker, protected by a keycard. The locker itself was good enough for me, who took only a conventional backpack and a pair of shoes, but might not be enough for those who are not traveling light like that. The bathrooms were shared and quite clean, fully furnished with amenities for showers and personal hygiene. WiFi was included and it was quite decent for general use, even when inside the shared bedroom. The bed capsule had a pillow and a blanket, lights and power outlets for phones. I had more space than I imagined, enough for me to sit on the bed. The only downside of this room type was air circulation, probably due to the hot climate that's been the standard here in Japan lately, but I think the fans could work more efficiently or the capsules could use an AC outlet. Other than that, I recommend this location and will certainly stay with them again.

This is considered quite stingy for a budget hotel in Japan. Laundry costs extra, dryer costs extra, and laundry detergent costs 100 yen. They don't provide skincare sets, bottled water, or disposable slippers (I asked the front desk, and they said the hotel doesn't provide them). Even the public bath lacks skincare products, and there were unidentified stains on the curtains. The facilities, however, are very new and clean. Except for the curtains and slippers, everything else is very well cleaned. Check-in is self-service; you can complete the process without speaking to the front desk.

There is a distance from the station, and the nearest Rosen convenience store is also an 8-minute walk away. The Japanese-style room has a Doraemon feeling, the space is comfortable, and the field is next to it, which feels good. It is close to the Jinheye Cable Car I am going to. It will take about10-15 minutes to check out at 8:45.

The trip came to Matsuyama City in Shimane Prefecture, Japan. I came here because of a temporary change in schedule due to a typhoon. So this accommodation was also booked temporarily. It is a 10-minute walk from the station. The hotel has its own hot spring and includes Japanese breakfast. The room and facilities are still OK. I was a little unhappy that I booked a room. When we checked in, we saw that our couple had two children. So they insisted that we wouldn't be allowed to move in unless we got another room. There is no other way, it is late, so I can only pay the money obediently. Two rooms total 3,000 RMB… It is true that some hotels in Japan charge per person. But the feeling at the scene was that it was unhappy. The manager who was wearing glasses and a tie was greeted at the front desk. It feels somewhat contemptuous, so I'll give it a neutral rating.

It feels like an old inn has been renewed for private guests. The building may be old, but the interior is beautiful. The single private room is super small with only a bed. Well, there is no problem with lying down and looking at your phone. It's a private room, but of course, you can hear the snoring in the next room, as well as the sound of opening the bag. It might be better to have an earphone. However, there is an inner hot water, the location is good, and the price is sufficiently satisfactory.

Check in is a sightseeing site in Hashimi, where the service staff kindly guide you how to explore the island and how to stay. The hotel is very close to the port, only a 5-minute walk away. It is a quaint Japanese-style building with a modern hotel interior. It is very clean, bright and dry and wet bathroom, spacious and comfortable. I live in a single room this time, facing the sea, the scene is beautiful, I like it very much!

I made a reservation and stayed without knowing that it opened just before. I knew it was breakfast, but I was very happy without knowing that it was a plan to eat curry and frozen foods instead of dinner. This time I went out by car to meet Hamada and Masuda's friends and acquaintances, but of course the parking lot was free. When staying in Masuda with a youth １８ ticket, it is on the back side of the station, but it is about １５ even if you walk.

The room used the loft type. It was very beautiful and enough for us to use just to sleep. There is a unit bus, but I also got a ticket for a nearby hot spring. Because it was heavy snow, I was able to borrow brush, hot water and color 々 on my way home. The staff is kind and I would like to use it again.

This time I left early and couldn't eat breakfast bread, but it seems to be very delicious. It seems to be recommended. I definitely want to eat it next time I stay! Check-in was quite late, but I had a polite customer service.

Beatiful place in a beatiful environment. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on the day we stayed there.
