Very Good
GGuest UserNice hotel in the city center with all the conditions I need. There is a good restaurant on the top, and the coffee shop on the ground floor. The service was perfect, the men from reception, his name is Birendra, allowed me to leave my belongings while I was on track, and helped me with all the questions I had.
蔓蔓蔓,慢慢,旅The bed is very small and the room is very crowded. The photos on the website look big and bright, but it is not. The curtains on my bed are torn and the shielding is not very good, but there is a beautiful restaurant on the top floor, which is my favorite!
KKekoraI stayed here near the airport in preparation for my flight the next morning. When I asked the staff about the breakfast time, I got different answers depending on who I asked. When I went to the breakfast venue in the morning, it wasn't ready yet, so I had them call my room when it was ready.
The showers are quite local and don't come with a conditioner, so if you want to use them, it's better to bring your own.
It was helpful to be able to pick up and drop off from the hotel to the airport.
GGuest UserThe staff were true gentlemen, especially Rupak, who assisted me with an issue in the morning. Everyone was very friendly. The facilities were great, and the restrooms were clean. I personally loved relaxing on the rooftop at night; it felt very freeing.
FFeidexiaomaomiThe hotel is located very close to Durbar Square, down a small alley near the main road. The room was very clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, making for a comfortable stay. The only downside was the street noise at night.
GGuest UserI booked this hotel for an overnight stay before my flight back home, as it coincided with election day. I chose it because of the positive reviews from Japanese guests. I checked in around 5 PM, and the staff greeted me with big smiles. I was instantly delighted to see Doraemon playing in Hindi on a screen in the entrance lobby! The room was incredibly spacious for one person, and I could relax by watching YouTube, Nepalese TV, and dramas on the TV. I was surprised to find a toilet with both large and small flush buttons, which is rare in Nepal. The shower room was also very large and had a shower curtain, making it very comfortable. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which was substantial and delicious.
RRose’s travellingAwesome! Very very satisfied with our stay at Pomelo. There’s location is great, we are just a few minutes walk from Thamel, 20 minutes walk from Sayambhu, 10 minutes taxi from Balaju… Now the service, it was the best part in the inn, the staff is really very friendly and accommodating, thank you Gyanu and Kamal who helped us for everything during our stay. We booked two rooms as a family, but we got one big family room with separated rooms, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was big and proper to use. The breakfast is the best one we had in Kathmandu, fresh and simple. There is a rooftop, from where we took a bowl of air in the evenings and mornings, really nice.
GGlobetrotter20Local hotel in central Kathmandu
Not far from Thalem and Durbar square
Good hotel if you are travelling on a budget while enjoying a nice Nepali deco with a patio-stupa in the center of the property.
Room was pretty old but reasonable for the price!
GGuest UserWhile the couple room was good, staffs were supportive and service was good, we severely suffered due to not having hot water at all in the cold weather (the staffs kept saying that hot water will come, just keep the tap water running but no luck!). Also our room ac remote was missing and could not be found.
