5-Star Hotels in Metro Manila, Philippines

The Manila Hotel has an old but elegant and luxurious style. Marble and stone finishing, tall ceilings and a grand piano at the back with a musician playing pleasant music greets you as you walk through the entrance. Lacking points from my personal experience: 1. The carpet floors need to be replaced. I had to change rooms because the first room I got had an unpleasant smell to it (they quickly changed my room after I went to the reception, so it wasn't terrible) and although I didn't notice until the end of my stay, the new room's carpet was frayed at the edges. 2. The night mode of the lights (many switches) completely cuts power to the power outlets. I didn't know and ended up waking up to a phone and power bank with a dying battery and needing to stay in the hotel a couple of hours until they finished charging. Maybe just a warning in the future? The good parts: 1. The service! People are SO accommodating, pleasant and efficient. Reception staff, waiters, bell boys and basically everyone greets you with a smile and tries to solve any problems with utmost focus and cordiality. 2. Traditional pride. Traditional fashion exhibition at the front was a great touch to my visit. The whole place (restaurants, pools, spa, rooms, etc) add to the experience. I could have stayed in the hotel and felt like I hadn't missed Manila's charm. 3. Excellent location. I realised early on that I could literally see every single thing from my ”1 day tour of Manila” from my hotel room. Nothing says great location like this.

The room is very spacious, perfect for families with multiple children. The hotel is conveniently located next to many large shopping malls and restaurants. Breakfast was decent, with both a buffet and à la carte options. It's also about a 20-minute drive from the airport, which is very convenient.

The room was decent, and the hotel staff were very friendly. My only minor complaint is that I booked a king-sized bed, but when I arrived, only twin beds were available. So I ended up staying in a twin room, which slightly diminished the experience. Everything else was great, clean and hygienic.

Excellent Choice for Business Travelers I booked this stay at Hilton Manila Newport World Resorts for my boss and client during their business trip, and the overall experience was excellent. Location – The location is extremely convenient, especially for travelers needing quick access to the airport. You can walk directly from Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 via the Runway Manila footbridge in about 10 minutes. It's also less than a 10-minute taxi ride to the airport. Rooms – The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable, and the suites come with a living area and a standalone bathtub. The hotel also has an outdoor heated pool with a swim-up bar. Service – Service from the hotel staff was professional, polite, and helpful throughout the stay. Dining – The breakfast buffet was amazing with a nice variety of choices. The on-site restaurants and there's also a lobby bar and a pool bar for evening cocktails. Amenities – The property felt premium and luxurious. It's connected to Newport World Resorts, Newport Mall just a 2-minute walk away, and plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Both my boss and client had a pleasant stay and gave very positive feedback. I would definitely consider booking this hotel again for future business trips to Manila

I traveled to the Philippines to visit relatives. It was my mother's birthday, so we stayed in Manila. Whenever I stayed in Manila, I always stayed at the Philippine Plaza, but as soon as I found out it had closed, I started looking for a hotel. My requirements were that it be located on Roxas Boulevard, have good access to the airport and tourist attractions, and have good security. After searching and reading reviews, I decided that this hotel was ideal. I arrived early in the morning by overnight bus, but they kindly allowed me to leave my luggage before check-in and go out for breakfast. They also made arrangements to ensure a smooth check-in. I had mentioned in advance that it was my mother's birthday, and unexpectedly, a lovely birthday cake was waiting in our room. The room was clean, and the front desk staff provided wonderful service with smiles before, during, and after check-in. However, I was disappointed by the manners and attitude of some guests. Dogs were roaming freely in the restaurant and near the front desk (the website I checked said that pets were not allowed, but the hotel actually allowed them). There were also people walking down the corridors soaking wet. The most shocking thing was that, although we know it was our mistake, my mother's coat, which she had left near the front desk, went missing. It was an expensive coat that she cherished. My mother, myself, and everyone traveling with us remembered losing the coat at the hotel, so we checked with the staff multiple times, but it couldn't be found. It was almost certainly stolen inside the hotel. I don't know if they checked the security camera footage. I have stayed at famous hotels in the Philippines, such as the Philippine Plaza and the Manila Hotel, and five-star hotels in various countries, but frankly speaking, this is not a five-star hotel. Putting aside the manners and morals of the guests, it was a wonderful hotel.

My first time staying on this hotel. And will definitely comeback. My friends daughter held her 18th bday here and they had rented the function area. And it was beautiful! The food is good, the set up is pretty. While waiting for the room they assigned to me was able to try their cafe which offers brunch and love their brunch menu. The only thing about checking in is you have to ask the frontdeak twice if my room is ready. Because the frontdesk who told me that they will call me when the room is ready. Did not call me at all. So after 2 hours.I asked her again If my room is ready then that is the time they gave me the key for my room. Good thing me and 2 of my friends are enjoying the food on their cafe. The room was clean..I had a kinda nice view too. The room is big so I'm happy about that. The bathroom was okay. Nothing really special though.

I had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and very professional, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a very comfortable bed that made it easy to relax after a long day. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and excellent service. I look forward to staying here again.

Expect higher prices in the restaurants, shops, and elsewhere since it’s a casino-hotel. That aside, the staff were all polite and accommodating. The best part for me was breakfast — great quality food. For transportation in general, expect moderate traffic getting in and out. Overall a solid stay.

It's a really great hotel. The parking for motorcycle is pretty limited though. But over all stay, the place smells and looks nice. Staff are very approachable except guard outside (the one who gives tickets) before we got to the inside parking that prevented and discouraged us from using parking inside, encouraged us to park outside where its far from the hotel and require us to walk long and its also hot to do so, as if we are not guest there just because we are in a motorcycle. Bummer. Felt a little discriminated. Breakfast choices are plenty and worth the stay.

This is my second stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip. 1. Location: It's located in Makati, which is a relatively safe and bustling area with a pleasant surrounding environment. SM Mall is right across the street, and within about a two-minute walk, you'll find a pizza place, a restaurant with flavors that appeal to Chinese palates, and a Lawson convenience store. 2. Hotel Service: The hotel service is also relatively excellent. They are generally cooperative in addressing any issues, and it's quite convenient to get a taxi from here. 3. Breakfast: The breakfast selection is also quite rich and varied.
