I paid an additional $25 per night on-site and was upgraded to a renovated Port View room on the 28th floor of the Seaport Tower. Overall, I was satisfied, but there was no soundproofing from the room next door. Parking is self-parking at $55 per night. Highly recommended if you're traveling to San Diego.

I used the spa at this location and will absolutely be going back as often as I can afford to! Sheila was friendly, professional, and kind and the rest of the staff were just as amazing. It honestly felt like entering into another world from the busy and. dirty streets of DTLA.

A San Francisco Icon with Breathtaking Views My recent stay at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of classic elegance and impeccable service. The hotel's location atop Nob Hill offers unparalleled panoramic views of San Francisco – a true feast for the eyes. The rooms are beautifully appointed, blending modern comfort with timeless style. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the luxurious linens to the well-stocked amenities. Of course, the highlight for many is the Top of the Mark, the hotel's legendary cocktail lounge. Sipping a perfectly crafted drink while watching the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge is an experience I won't soon forget. Beyond the stunning views and luxurious accommodations, what truly sets the Mark Hopkins apart is its exceptional staff. Every interaction was met with genuine warmth and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, the InterContinental Mark Hopkins offers an unforgettable San Francisco experience.

The hotel is located in a Chinese community, which is a bit run-down and far from tourist attractions. However, there are many Chinese restaurants and supermarkets nearby, so finding food is easy. The room itself is decent, quite good by US standards, and well-equipped, though they only provide one bottle of water per day. A big plus is the free luggage storage!

From Roosevelt to Biden now, they all stayed at this hotel when they came to San Francisco. The hotel is very old and very large. The Christmas decorations on the first floor attract visitors. The service in the hotel is very good and professional, and sometimes the Chinese language is also spoken. It is worthy of having served the president. However, the hotel facilities are average. Even a suite with an area of over 100 square meters cannot escape the small bathroom of a few square meters. You need to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. The sink is very small. If you are not careful, your toothbrush and toothpaste will fall into the toilet. The network is very good, that's okay. Located at the highest point in San Francisco, the view is great, and the room looks directly at ** Island. Walking down the hillside, you will find Chinatown and Union Square 2 blocks away. You need to climb back up, which is a bit hard.

Excellent stay. Rooms were spotless and modern. Central location with easy access to downtown LA. Service and amenities were first-class. Food quality was outstanding both in-room and at the hotel restaurants. The bar stood out as the highlight — great atmosphere and drinks. Highly recommended.

The location is absolutely superb, right in the heart of the city. Union Square is just a right turn out of the hotel entrance, and the cable car terminus is only a few minutes' walk away. Dining options are abundant and convenient nearby, and Chinatown is also within easy walking distance. Overall, the hotel is pretty decent. The only downsides were the slightly small room and weak shower pressure. I also paid an extra $20 for early check-in, even though it was already past 12 PM. Guests staying at the hotel receive discount vouchers for dining at the hotel restaurant, which was a nice perk. The room offered an unbeatable view. Overall, it's worth recommending.

The room was basic, but exuded a vintage charm. The price was among the most expensive in Beverly Hills. The breakfast was generous and made to order, and the waffles and fried chicken were delicious. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the shopping district. Parking was $80 per night.

The room was nice, and the location is right in the city center. However, for a big InterContinental hotel, there wasn't a single person at the front desk who spoke Chinese, which made communication very inconvenient. Also, what they called 'breakfast included' actually meant a breakfast with a limited allowance.

YYC008Here's why we gave the experience 3 stars; First of all, when we booked the hotel, neither Trip.com nor The Aster, Los Angeles, mentioned anything about the rooftop being closed on the dates we booked. On May 13 and May 14, we stayed in room 3 0 6. The hotel pictures showed and bragged about having a rooftop and plenty of pics of people there, and nowhere was revealed anywhere on their website or Trip.com that would not be available on those dates. When we reached out to Trip.com, they pretty much said that the rooftop amenities weren't listed as part of our package. Really Trip.com? You have to list the rooftop as the amenity... Got it. That was so lame a response. Everyone knows people book due to the pictures, and this was a seriously lame response from the Trip.com customer support personnel. We decided to save our opinion for this review. The Aster had nice people, but it's hard to believe the availability missing on their website is a detail they would miss. Their hotel has impeccable detail and design. One can only surmise they conveniently left out the information because people would obviously not book there and go somewhere else. I told the front receptionist this as we were checking in. She mentioned, well, it said it on *******. But we didn't book through *******, we booked through Trip.com. And those specific details were not evident. After July 1st the Government is getting stricter on transparency with hotels having to mention things so we missed this window, but we're happy to hold hotels like The Aster accountable:-) Also, on Wednesday, we checked out, and they had a fire alarm drill test that lasted about 10 minutes. They forgot to mention another minor ”inconvenience” when we booked on their website. It was at 10 am. It wasn't so bad, but to state the obvious, they left out the ability for customers to decide by not making that information transparent during the booking process. It's not like the fire department or tech people didn't schedule that in advance. 1. If you book through Trip.com, please make sure you specify, call their customer support, and get it in writing. The clickbait and pictures seem shady and sketchy and reflect a lack of credibility in the process. 2. Trip.com asked which room we wanted to be in. When we picked the room, we picked the city-view balcony. But we got put in the poolside view instead. It wasn't bad, but that was missing in the booking details that Trip.com sent to The Aster. My fiance ended up being okay with the poolside view, but it should have been in the booking details via Trip.com. So please, please make sure you watch this if you book through them and call the hotel in advance. Lastly, the decor, valet, and, in general, the service people were very nice and thoughtful. We would give them 5 stars.

AAnonymous UserThis is an old hotel with rich cultural background, all the staff are very friendly, the room service is timely and in place, the bedding and mattress are very comfortable, the breakfast is not to mention, the weekend menu will be replaced with the brunch menu. All the above advantages allow me to tolerate the only disadvantage of zero view from the window. Parking is valet, there is a cvs at the door, and there is a taco that ranks first in the United States within five minutes' walk, which is pretty good, but there is homeless on the roadside

GGuest UserStaying on a day whwn the weather was horrible undoutably did not help this being good review as we were unable to use the pool areas or enjoy the balconies or the bikes etc but I have to say I was disappointed in the room itself given the cost. When it costs in the $600 range I expected more. 300 square feet, with one chair, a bench along one wall facing away from the TV and a work space that I can only describe as laughable is less than I expected. I confess if I had paid more attention to the pictures, they were accurate. The quality of the bedding and the towels etc were top notch as were the robes and other aids. The fridge was strange but it met our needs. The lighting was interesting. Lights turned them selves off and on automatically not always when you wanted them to, including in the middle of the night if you did not want wake your partner. When the lights went off in half the room we were startled but it seems this just might be to keep the electric bill down as when we rentered the area they came back on. They tell you the internet and parking are free but are they? They were the only two things I recieved for a $60 resort fee. On the bright side the staff was excellent though they would benifit having a larger check in area. The dinner at their restaurant was outstanding. Beware, that if you have any walking disabilities some rooms not on the first floor are only accessible via the stair way. Our designated room was one of them and we have disabilities. The staff was able to do some moving around and all was well but if you are going to stay there make sure they are aware.

HHippyponkThe hotel is situated near residential areas, so it’s quiet at night and safe. Most of the male staff are kind of friendly however the female staff (one bartender, one at the service desk are extremely rude). When I checked in the hotel, the toilet was flooded and TV remote wasn’t working. They fixed it promptly afterwards which is fine. However, don’t book the hotel unless you considered these few things: 1) there is a resort fee is $58 USD added on top of your booking, they offer $32 dining credit with the resort fee but charge $8USD for delivery fee for in-room dining (not including tips, tax etc) 2) valet parking is $66USD. There are no many parking options near the hotel so you have no choice but to pay these. Don’t be fooled by the cheap room prices until you consider these extra cost abovez So if you stay in the hotel, be prepared to be charged additional ~ $120 USD per night on top of what you’ve booked here on trip .

TTiaotiaoI think it's absolutely fantastic! First off, it's pretty close to the park; a taxi ride is only about ten bucks, and walking back after the park closes at night takes just over ten minutes – a real time and effort saver. Secondly, the price is simply amazing. Three nights here cost less than one night at an official hotel. Since official hotels don't offer early entry anymore, it makes sense to save some money. A taxi to Goofy's Kitchen was also ten bucks, so we got to have our first meal in the US and explore the park's hotel! 😂 The official check-in time is 4 PM, but we arrived around 12 PM, and the lady at the front desk checked us in right away – super grateful for that! We got drenched in a downpour and came into a super warm room for a great nap. The fridge in the room works perfectly, and the bed is very comfortable. My room was even next to the ice machine, which was incredibly convenient! There are plenty of outlets in the room, so no worries there. My mom said the pool was great, but I didn't go. Everything was awesome, except for the shower water pressure being a bit low (though the next hotel I stayed at also had low water pressure, is California experiencing a water shortage? 🥹).

JJiudiancepingjixiaoleiA hotel that is small but well-equipped. The hotel is adjacent to the Union Square shopping district. Turn left three blocks away and you will find the Neiman Marcus department store. The hotel is small and old, but it is very exquisite, clean and refreshing. There are many Indian-style decorations in the lobby, which is very atmospheric. The hotel service staff are extremely enthusiastic. The doorman immediately helped unload the luggage, delivered it all the way to the room, and even helped dust the dust. In the evening, they will also give you chocolate-filled snacks. The room is very clean and comfortable, and is also equipped with an electric kettle, knitted bathrobes, and slippers. The bed sheets are also like domestic hotels using quilt covers and duck down quilts. The toiletries are all made from the old British brand Molton Brown, and the fragrance lasts a long time. In short, this Taj Hotel is a secret treasure in the center of Sanban City. It has the warmth of home and the luxury of a third world country. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserEvery employee was exceptional, helpful and friendly. The location is great except for getting in an out with a vehicle. The rooms were very nice, the bed was comfortable and clean. The two issues I had with the room were promptly corrected by maintenance (bad toilet flush and light bulb which was very loud). The restaurant was good, though the server was not exceptional. You feel welcome at every area within the hotel, every employee greets you as you pass. Only bad thing that I can say is that, I am allergic to dogs and could tell from the moment I slept in the room that there had been a dog or pet in the room prior. This lead to some discomfort that I was not prepared for. A bit of warning should be given to those with allergies so that other arrangements could be made.
